HB ARCHIVES: Processed Issues from Honorbuddy Release threads

bot couldn't turn in completed quests if the quest make you to chose items reward , it stops the bot after 20s saying bot stopped because turning quest fail.
 
Hey Chinajade or any Dev checking the page :) Thanks for coordinating the issues and updating everyone on the fixes.

There is a little issue and a simple fix to get questing working again for horde faction level 84 to 85 (Twilight Highlands profile from Kick).
Since Garrosh NPC has been replaced by Vol'jin and that the quest name and everything else remained the same, here's how i fixed it and ran smooth afterward :

Open the profile, replace all "Garrosh Hellscream" with "Vol'jin", then replace all "39605" with "86832" which is the Id of the new NPC, then save and upload to SVN so that everyone leveling on that part goes happy :D

Issue : The horde chief of Orgrimmar NPC has changed from "Garrosh Hellscream" into "Vol'jin" since 6.0.2, and since, all chain quests have been redirected to this new NPC name + Id.
Fix : Open the profile, change all text named "Garrosh Hellscream" into "Vol'jin", change all the values from "39605" into "86832".

I do post full logs when i can make a new and clean log showing only that exact issue + a video capture in case the problem is ambiguous.

Hi, Dmyoussef,

Indeed, we need the full unedited log for problem reports. This is clearly spelled out in the thread management rules. We're being very aggressive about enforcing these rules across the board. There are plenty of problems to work on with full information provided, without having to look at incomplete reports.

We'll leave your post here for a couple of days until you can get a full unedited log attached.

We're also very confused why you're reporting what appears to be a profile problem as an Honorbuddy bug.

Please delete this post and my previous post about quest profiles, i've just read your reply and understand now the purpose of the thread.
I thought i could also post profile bugs on here.
I probably won't have time to make a new full log for the previous quest issues for now, since i'm not having a character ready for those particular levels yet.

Hello! So I have been dealing with this problem for a few days now and before I jump out a window let us discuss
this like gentlemen! I keep getting the run around so I am just going to give as much information
as I possibly can so we can hopefully help each other out! =)

Honor buddy works fine with all other bots I have used (Dungeon buddy, combat buddy etc)
However when I activate questing and use kicks (the ONLY questing profiles I use atm) it starts up, my character will
activate buffs etc and then my wow instantly
crashes and the entire game closes out and disappears off my screen. this happens about 10 seconds after clicking the start button on honorbuddy.

Clear your wow cache data folders?-------> Yes.

Restart your computer?--------> Yes.

Do a fresh Honorbuddy install in a new folder WITHOUT overlapping any old honorbuddy files?-----> Yes.

Download the newest version of honorbuddy?----> Yes to EVERYTHING released in the last week.

Disable 3rd party plugins!!!!!------> Yes.

Direct x9-------> Yes

Direct x11 ------> yes


I hope this helps you as much as it didn't help me hehe xD if so then I know you have a solution! =D

Is this support for Multiple Ids for KillMob or something similar, as that would be a great improvement.
 
HB-1337: Serious lagging on Battlegrounds - any news about this bug? In BG while bot moving all okey, when bot begin attack all freeze / 1 fps.
 
Questbot runs more smoothly now, "feels" a lot better than it did yesterday, with the previous build.

Installation should be fine, downloaded the latest build last (this) night, uninstalled the old version and installed the new one. Only difference to the previous builds and installations was that I had to get the ZIPed version.

I do stream from the Buddy Store though, since I am currently leveling a new toon. Profile currently used is:

Buddy Store

Area: Nordend

How to phrase this, without angering you again about the pr-word... Maybe the crashes had been caused by a slow connection to the buddy store while streaming the profiles, meshes etc.?

Otherwise it is working remarkably better than it did yesterday (different area; 58-68). Returning quests and choosing a reward worked fine so far too.
 
Reporting a bug with ProfessionBuddy, when it is searching for items to buy, it keeps spamming opening and closing the AH window, see an example log attached. I thought it might be an AH Buddy bug, but I've been advised that it's a Prof buddy bug so reporting here:View attachment 8640 2014-10-25 12.15.txt
 
Honorbuddy crashed. Checked the log myself but couldn't find out why.
I was watching when it occured and my best guess would be that it is related to movement since the area was full of AoEs and other shit.
Assassin rogue at Shamans in SoO.

Clean install using Dungeonbuddy and Singular. Has happened at least twice at the same boss now. Hope this helps in any way!
