HB ARCHIVES: Processed Issues from Honorbuddy Beta thread

I'm afraid you don't know what you're talking about.
As a sysadim of a bigger company I tell you, leave your fingers off AV. This is not ignorance, this is an advice.
That AV crap has crippled our company servers for 4 days, blocking even simple text files and Avast customer service had no solution.
Settings were correct and approved by Avast via TeamViewer.
Even if you switch AV off, some components are still working in the background stultifying you.
This is not tolerable!
After 4 days and no further clue from Avast, we wiped AV off the drives (not as easy as you may think) and installed Kaspersky IS, which worked fine from beginning.

BTW:
In todays world, heuristic scanning this is no more worth mentioning.
It is a must have for all antivirus programs and most of it have this feature.
 
No german beta?
Stuck detection in release version sucks like hell - i dont know if its just ArchaelogyBuddy but all toons stuck at every single pixel - before the big update such stucks doesnt exist.

the repository is just 4 commits ahead of the most recent release, and none of those commits are about stuck handling.
Right now, there is nothing more recent than 2.5.8113.696 which already has changes on stuck handling, are you using that already?
 
8115 is the current beta that looks to be 2 commits ahead from release? Current beta DB is still broken. If there a beta that is 4 commits ahead that db is working ... hehe

Yes im usng the latest DE version and all toons stuck like hell - ArchaeoloyBuddy.
The stuck changes didnt work for me.

My Toons got Stuck when the WoWClient Window isnt activ.
WoWClient Window isnt activ. i can see my Toon cant unstuck run into objects and walls. When press on the WoWClient Window (activ this Window) my Toon starts to unstuck.

Hmm this is what i saw also but i didnt thought it would be importent

i dont know. if i see this i activate my wow client window, if i dont, i pray no one see me stuck for a report.
 
is this version on the 1st post the updated most recent version? from the name of the zip, it doesn't seem to be! is this even still kept up with?
 
FYI Latest Beta HonorbuddyBETA 2.5.8173.372 Dungeon Buddy still does not work... Lots of errors starting with this. Can provide log but it's the same old stuff.

[DungeonBuddy-DEBUG 633]: Failed to update scripts and profiles.
[DungeonBuddy-DEBUG 633]: System.Net.WebException: The etc ... etc .... etc ,,,,,,

That didn't sound good at all. Well, seem I might think twice about using avast again. For me it is important to have security, but if the software as you say crippled the servers and are blocking files even when it is turned off I will then not use avast again. Running MS own AV now and it seems to play nice, sadly I had avast installed earlier. Gonna take a touroughly manual cleanup in registry. And I that tought Avast was one of the best..., Well, I take back what I said anyways. :)

We have disabled script and profile updating for now. This shouldn't cause any problems other then printing two exceptions in the log.

Most of trouble is coming from the bot not moving at all, and when I move manually to engage target toon just does white damage.

Side note if you need a beta tester for HB I play every day for a retarded amount of hours. Set me up with svn and I'll be happy to run each beta through it paces ... lol
