HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

I was having the issue with the Quest Behaviors as well and even after I updated them and placed them into my HB folder. I noticed that I was still trying to load an older revision of the questing profile I was using before the ninja patch. So to those of you who updated your Quest Behaviors, reload the profile. It should say that it's loading the most recent revised version of the profile and then it should run fine. Just my two cents.
 
Im having this issue where the bot doesn't do anything for me, it just says : Unable to evaluate/compile condition in If tag. Please check your profile.

This log does not show the problem you describe. Also, please show us the full log, not an edited one once you find the correct one.

could i ask when will the Zip Version be back? i think its allot easier to use and it have been gone for a long time...
 
Jade Forrest "waiting for respawn of MobId(64596)"

Can't seem to get past this. Picks up Jade Forrest quests then gets stuck waiting.

Next time, please attach the full log.

Your problem is you've failed to copy over the Quest Behaviors provided in Kick's repository.

Level 55 Alliance, stuck on NPC Anchorite Vuun in Swamp of Sorrows. Manually going to blasted lands, bot keeps returning in SoS and trying to interact with this NPC.
He couldn't take or deliver quests from him either, so I did them manually. There are no quests available from him at the momment.

Fresh HB install and beta does the same. Deleted cache, both on bot folder and WoW folder. Updated profiles via SVN, didn't work. Downloaded profiles again didn't work either.

Hi, GOPRO,

Personally, I hope Kick never puts that blasted .Zip file back. It causes nothing but trouble because its out-of-date from the moment its posted.

Subversion is super easy to use--even easier than a .Zip file, once you do it the first time. Please have a look at Jvidia's wonderful video that will walk you through the process.

I have copied the quest behaviors from kicks profiles to the normal hb profiles quest behaviors, still getting the error. What else can I do?

Same problem as the 2 above me , it appears the quest behaviors folder from kickz svn that i redownloaded today only has 1 quest behavior in it ???

Thanks for the fast help. Clearing all 4 Cache folders and waiting about 7-10mins fixed the problem. Appreciated!

Hi, Patriots, Breaz, and Tonywan,

Just a reminder that attaching full logs is required when asking for help.

There are two ways to solve your problem (which is not profile-related btw).

  • You can copy the Quest Behaviors Kick provides into your Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/ directory.

  • You can do a 'clean install' of Honorbuddy. Instructions here:

After SVN update + copy Quest Behaviors, I have some troble with my lvl 88 Horde Warlock and profile Townlong Steppes loaded.

Beginning at Townlong Outpost, the char mounts up and ran straight to the great gate aside to Kun-Lai and further in direction to the Kota Basecamp,
turns right uphill to the cave with those Kafa Yetis and hangs there after killing all the Yetis (permanently wants to mount up in the cave).
Can't get the Townlong Steppes profile to run normally at all.

I have no quests at Kun-Lai.

Hi, Corleone,

The profile is doing the right thing for your level--no issues with the profile:

As far as "permanently wants to mount up in the cave", that would be an issue that needs to be reported to the Release thread (with the log that demonstrates the issue, please).
