HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Kick, I noticed that in your SVN under quest behaviors, there is only one listed under QuestBehaviorsCore folder called queries.cs

is that normal? or am i missing some quest behaviors somewhere? because i remember you used to have alot of quest behaviors that i would copy to my HB->quest behaviors folder.

so what is the deal with the new format? will everything still work?

same question. In addition, I am on 2 quest in South Stranglethon valley which relate to pirate, cow head or something. My char kept interacting with a parrot seller, then HB says not the expected vendor frame -> ignore, then my char sits there, spamming trade with the NPc. here is the log.

I've been having a problem with WOW crashes when compiling the ratchet quests.

Using the [H] 12-58 K to EK

WoW crashes with a Fatal exception 132.

What I've done:
Clean installed WoW and HB
updated profiles from SVN
Ran wow and HB as admin
changed to DX9

WoW runs fine with all other bots and even with the other parts of the profile. just crashes specifically at this point every time.

Is there something that I can modify or remove to get over this hurdle?

Log Attached

I seem to have gotten past it by removing the "Ammo Kerblamo" quest in the profile and running a couple of quests manually. We'll see how it goes....

Edit: UPDATE: removing the "Ammo Kerblamo" quest from the profile and running "It's gotta be the horn" manually seems to have fixed it. profile is continuing without crashing so far. *fingers crossed*

Not sure why, maybe the logs will say? in Hyjal, got stuck at quest Oh, Deer! I moved my character manually barely 5 feet in game, and the bot all of a sudden took off again and is back to running normally. These are the types of little bugs and tweaks that make it not fully afk'able, but are so random and weird, that I'm not sure if they ever could get fixed entirely.

The HB Dev Team always Update the shipped Quest Behaviors inside the HB installation with Kickz one. Thats why there is just one at the moment. If Kickz and Chinajade do changed on the QBs you will find them in your well know Kickz SVN QB Folder to copy. But at this time, there is just one changed QB, after the latest released HB Version.

Thx for this... works awesomely. I'm using it on a Blood Elf Affliction Warlock. I noticed it is collecting linen cloths. Is there a reason as to why? Do I have to get a profession or something to empty those out? Please advise:)

I don't know what has changed but I can no longer level using these questing profiles. It seems to start fine, does a few quests perfectly like it used to, then when I come back like an hour later to check on it, wow is dc'd and the bot is off. Today I happened to be watching it when it decided to stop itself, I had just died by a mob, the dialog came up to release, but it never releases. Instead, it stands there for a bit, then self logs out. I've attached the log, any ideas?

oh ok, thanks for the info. i didnt know kicks quest behaviors shipped with new HB releases.

I used the DK starting zone a couple days ago without problems. Now it's just running around weirdly. It is running a few yards, it runs back, spins a few times and runs a bit ahead doing the same all over.

questing on 90 isnt working in dread wastes?

cloth is considder a trade good for the bot, as such it will only sell this, if you dont have a bank alt you are mailing stuff to. More often then not, the bot will still avoid selling this tho

You can profit from this by making a bank alt, make him mail recipien in the bots settings and post all the cloth on ah from him, when ever you take a break from the lvling.

Is it only me that gets this error?

Hi, Schmiisk, and thanks for the log.

There are two ways to correct this problem. Take your pick:

  • Copy the Quest Behaviors provided in Kick's repository into your Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/ directory
Ref: [post=1096341]HelpDesk: Updating Singular and Quest Behaviors between Honorbuddy drops[/post]

  • Do a 'clean install' of Honorbuddy
    Ref: [post=1120664]HelpDesk: "Clean installing" Honorbuddy[/post]

Either one will work, but some have difficulty correctly using the first method. If you run into that problem, just do a 'clean install'.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Nitsud and Landor, and many thanks for the log.

This issue needs to be reported to the Support forum. There is nothing a profile can do to crash things like this--the problem lies elsewhere, and needs to be chased.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Joe_Nvidio828,

Few quest behaviors right after a drop is correct. You can find more information here:

Hi, Ntlntl,

For your question, I"ll refer you to [post=1194442]our answer to Joe_Nvidio828[/post].

As to your interaction problem, your log is filled with these:
[22:31:46.410 D] System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.AccessViolationException: Could not read bytes from 43A705C8 [299]!
at Styx.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader.ReadBytes(IntPtr address, Int32 count, Boolean isRelative)
at Styx.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader.Read[T](IntPtr address, Boolean isRelative)
at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWObject.[](UInt32 )
at Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.WoWObject.get_DynamicFlags()

You should probably do a 'clean install':

cheers,
chinajade

This isn't an issue with the profile. Let's try clearing your caches:
[post=1067458]HelpDesk: Cache corruption problems[/post]

If that doesn't repair your issue, please follow up to the Support forum with a fresh log, please.

cheers,
chinajade
