HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Hi Kick - I need help getting my level 71 Alliance Ret Paladin questing again. I've spent a couple hours troubleshooting this and am completely stuck. Here's what I've tried:

• Performed a clean install of the latest HB and my favorite bots/plugins
• Ran an SVN Update of your files
• Set the bot to questing and loaded your Alliance BC questing profile
• Took the Dark Portal and flew to the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh
• Started the bot, and my toon just stands there doing nothing
• It has been been stuck for about 20 minutes on "Compiling Zangarmarsh Quests" when I stopped the bot
• To keep from going AFK I'd mount up and briefly fly around the quest givers
• The bot would take control, land at a a quest giver, dismount, but wouldn't do anything else (There were several other available quests from other quest givers in the area, one five feet away, but my toon only went and stopped at this one)
• Here's my log: View attachment 40425

• Last night I ran a few quests manually, following the order in your profile
• Started the bot, and again, it just stands there doing nothing

• Completed a couple more quests manually, started the bot again, but it still doesn't do anything

If you have time to take a look at these logs and share any ideas of how to fix this I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your hard work and support.

You wouldn't happen to have the ignorecheckpoints set to make it follow the checkpoints, or have it set to actually ignore them, do you? From your level, it seems that you should be in LK content by now, since he's set LK to 68-80, and not in Outlands since that's 58-70 content. Just two things I can think of.

Sorry, that was a typo. My toon is 61 (not 71).

I have not edited the profiles at all (IgnoreCheckPoints is set to "False").

Kick! Please tell how to desable pereodic warnings! It is stealen about 35% of time! Every 5 mins i got 2 warnings, and each is 30 sec durotation! How to disable it?

Hey bro, just wondering if the "UseFlightPaths=True" line in the profiles actually work, or is that an HB issue? I'm only asking because I have it set to true, which I'm assuming makes it always use flight paths, and instead of using FPs it just mounts up and flies everywhere, lol. That's fine by me, it just takes more time because I don't have the fast flying, or 310 flying yet. I only have the basic flying you get at level 60.

i've never had an issue... unless the bot hasn't come across a fp since you hit start

i dont know what you exactly want but i recorded you the fastet route starting right outside of the spinebreaker post to the nearest entry to zeth gor and the top north entry of zeth gor

looking into the issue now
i'll be looking for blackspots in these area's and fiddling with them:

I have the other FP options set to true as well, to learn new FPs. That works because I make stops at all the nearby FPs. Hasn't taken a single FP in Northrend yet. It's no big deal man, no worries. I was just curious why it didn't.

Right. I remember you saying you did that. You did it by changing the UseFlightPaths to False, right? If so, I changed that to True, just to get a little more speed out of moving around LK until I get my next flight speed. If you disabled them another way, then I guess the UseFlightPaths option wouldn't matter anyway, yes?

Choosing rewards isn't done by Kick's profiles. It's controlled by HB and AutoEquip2, from what I understand. Get AutoEquip2 if you don't have it, or if you do, enable it and choose your weight set and weapon type and you should be good to go.

Yep, I have both of those set to True. It learns the FPs with no problem, just never uses them, lol. I guess I wouldn't take a taxi either if I had my own car.

oh that's because FlyTo doesn't take into account fp's even if they're enabled and I flyto everywhere (except in hellfire ofc). So unless it's hellfire - then it's not going to use them

or

if might use them to mail / sell / repair, but that's it

Does this profile do a certain amount of quests to get the Quest Achievement for that are or just till they hit a certain level?
