HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Not open for further replies.
I just passed two toons through Winterspring without a single hitch. Might wanna add a log.

Also, Kick, during the quest "Watching Our Back" at the Dark Portal, the hotspot for the alliance plans is wrong. You get caught every time.
Here's a safe one. I tried it a ton of times and didn't get ported a single one:

-11808.03, -3230.02, -29.50424

And now, the double clicking for hotspots isn't working for me :P
Target location copy works perfect, but I can't copy player location unfortunately... I swear I know how to double-click! Sorry for making you fix it :P

Im sorry but how do I export a log? Or is it just the copy of the text in the log tab??

Thank you in advance.

Only way I found of fixing this was adding

Code:
<Quest Id="68625" Name="Chop Chop">
		<Objective Type="KillMob" MobId="48952" KillCount="30">
		</Objective>
</Quest>

Because the bot wouldn't attack the mobs!

the quest "ashenvale outrunners" isn't working. around level 23

its not the bots fault, one of the npc's always evades. The bot will not move on to another npc. I just finished the quest myself and started it up again. so maybe if you can change the quest path a little north of splinter tree post across the road. there is a lot of npc's for that quest at that location.

also a few quest before that was collecting some firewood. the bot would not collect the fire wood.. he will move to it and even click on the firewood, but would not collect it.

thats the only 2 issues so far that i have seen at lower levels.

besides the issues with the bot itself not attacking sometimes, but that is unrelated to this profile.

On Winterfall, on one of the quests, the bot doesn't kill the mobs, he just walks back and forward all the time. The quest is Winterfall Runners.
He's searching for them; they pat

I've fiddled with that quest multiple times and the current loction works the best for me

Does this profile (or any profile for that matter) bug out if 3 bots are accessing the same xml? I was leveling three troll toons from the same hb installation, same profile xml and one of the bots just kept tripping out. I seen somewhere that you should have separate installs for each HB but I didn't really think that was necessary.
No, no issues at all; i run tons of bots through my network actually w/o a hitch (therefore i don't have multiple profiles to upload / merge)

what you did here is wrong; the quest id is 28625; all i need are some hotspots; but mine has always killed them; maybe you should give me a log?

Really? I purposely stood there looking at the bot get caught for a good 10 mins on my BE Pally. After I modified it, my Tauren Pally did it on the first try >.<

I'm just trying to help!!!
Bot no srsly, it's too close to the pat, there's no way to pull it off... maybe if the stars align, but like I said, I spent like 10 mins watching it cuz I rather not bother you for nothing :P

Im sorry the newbie question, but, I did search and couldn't find, maybe because its just WAYYYYYY too obvious (and i'm not seeing it) hence its not on F.A.Q.

But how do I export a log? Not attach, that one I saw. ty.

Go to your HB installation directory and there should be a folder named "Logs". There's the txts for the sessions.

I guess you dont read what people post do you. Like I said I read the one about attaching!

Kick, I assumed there would be a "export log" or "save log" option instead of saving every session. That's all.

Just my opinion but still, why dont you put something like:

step1: "Select the log for the session you want to attach (located in log folder)"

ah yeah, everytime you start a new session it creates a log. so it is confusing if you use more than 2-3 bots off of 1 directory

i used 20 bots once (back in the day) and logs were hell to keep track of because GB1 kept deleting them everytime it restarted xD

My toon is having trouble taking the first flight to honor hold, hes trying to corpse walk through the pit lord it seems... any suggestions?

oh hmm, ill try it again here, let ya know how it goes

edit: perfect, thanks kick, ur a champ!
