This sure looks like a cache issue to me. Be certain you deleted all four caches, and have kept your WoWclient closed for the prescribed time:

If you continue to suffer the problem after this, please report the issue to the Support forum. The issue is not profile-related.

This is my 3rd time with a different toon getting stuck at the same quest giver... all it does it try to talk to him to pick up the quests, but it never does, then I manually pick up the quests and restart HB (after clearing cache) and it still tries to talk to him - Xiao

This too looks like a cache corruption issue to me. I find it curious that its happened to you on three toons so far at the same NPC. Please follow the procedure for clearing all four caches involved:

This log entry may have something to do with your issue:

[22:38:27.191 N] Error trying to save the settings file: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

This could be many things:

Insufficient Windoze permissions
A damaged Honorbuddy installation
A conflict with trying to run multiple Honorbuddy instances out of the same Honorbuddy directory

Please use the Support forum to get this latter issue resolved.

ok tyvm! i did clear the cache but like i said its with the same npc on 3 of the toons I have used so far.... I recently did an upgrade to HB but I will do a clean reinstall and see how that works. thanks again!

Hey kicks the profile seems to be getting getting stuck in booty bay, Ive alreddy tried deleting my HB cache and WoW cache, heres a log.

edit. never mind I noticed it's actually an in-game bug, I have the required quest items but i can't complete the quest

Aye, we know there is a problem when trying to interact with Narkk. Please do the quest manually, turn it in, and restart Honorbuddy.

Are there many known bugs for the 60-70 profiles? Bots stops for 5-10 minutes between most mobs/quests, sometimes permanently. The solution seems to be hitting Stop and then Start again, and he continues on with his quest. Currently constantly getting stuck standing next to a wall in Nagrand trying to collect 10 Kil'sorrow Armaments for Armaments for Deception.

Bot also RARELY uses his flying mount. He will run from one quest/area to another instead of using the flying mount.

Since you've been here almost two years, you know we can't assist with problems like this without a log that captures the issue.

None of the problems you describe sound like problems with Kick's profile, but instead, sound like a problem with your Honorbuddy installation. You should make a post into the Support forum with your log that captures the issue with which you would like assistance.

These malfunctioning behaviors are from another profile package--TheBrodieMan's, Cava's, or someplace else. They are neither part of Kick's package, nor the Honorbuddy distribution.

I was hoping it would have clues as to the source of the Quest Behaviors with compiler errors. Alas, it does not.

You will either have to figure this out for yourself, and get functional copies from the original source. Or, you can just delete the malfunctioning behaviors.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help--the log didn't have the needed clues.

I'm only using Kick's Profiles thou :s And when I delete the behavior, he starts to move to the hunting ground center, I found this error/bug on the forums and they said it's because I didn't update my quest behavior. While I did update it from the svn from this post. :s

Hi Nab and Xplendit, and thank you.

Well... this is embarrassing. Another developer contributed a new behavior today, and I was unaware of it. My copy of Kick's Subversion was not up-to-date, and that's why I was not seeing it.

I've contacted the other developer and asked him to look into the issue. In the meantime, please delete the offending behavior.

EDIT: Offending behavior has been removed from repository, until next Honorbuddy release. It uses features that are not yet available.

It looks like your Honorbuddy installation is damaged. Please do a 'clean install' by following the information here:

When you copy across Kick's new behaviors, please delete the one called 24697-ungoro-howtomakemeatfresh.cs. It is causing problems at the moment.

EDIT: Offending behavior has been removed from repository, until next Honorbuddy release. It uses features that are not yet available.

Hey chinajade i was having the same issue as another buddy, using kicks 85-85 bot sais moving to hunting grounds but it stands at the fountain saying waiting for mob to spawn and never does, do i need a new quest behavior? i just did a svn update and updated my quest behaviors or is it somethin i need to delete?
