I apologize for not attaching a log, but I am also having a problem that a few people have posted about in this thread with no response. The quest "In a Dark Corner" (ID 26669), is bugged, and players are unable to pick up the item that completes the quest. This quest is part of a chain, so it isn't just an easy removal from the XML. Any suggestions?

The quest is from Duskwood in the [A - Quest] EK 12-58 [Kick] profile

Hi, Spaztikalmaniak,

Aye, there are a few of these quests in which the problems are caused by Blizzard bugs. As you have pointed out, many of the quests enable later quests, so its not a simple matter of removing the offending quest from the profile.

Keep in mind that quests bugged in this fashion affect botters and non-botters alike.

Your choices boil down to these:

• Sometimes, completely exiting the WoWclient, and back in will clear the issue.
• Sometimes, clearing your caches will repair the issue.
• If you are willing to not bot for a few days, perhaps you could submit a GM ticket to get you 'over the hump'.
• Manually level your toon until you "clear the zone" (or at least the chain), then comment out the quests in that zone from the profile

ok idk wth this bot is doing but im trying to get my brothers toon to do this questing profile starting at lvl 55. and all it wants to do is grind low lvl mobs. or mobs in w/e area he's in -.- very annoying. i have no problem running this on mine. -.-

So I have this problem with "[N - Quest] 89-90 Townlong Steppes [Kick]" profile
When I get to Longying Outpost, the bot doesn't picks up the quests from "Taran Zhu", I picked up the quest manually and now bot is constantly clicks on the NPC and tries to pick up some quest that does
not exist. I have tried to abandoning the quest and let the bot pick up the quests again and still same problem. I have done this on 6 different characters with the same problem. I have to mention that
I have recently cleared both my wow caches folders as well as hb's cache.

Seems to be working now. but whenever he's in combat he seems to lag. ;/ not sure whts up with tht.

The profile will be unable to proceed until it acquires a minimal set of meshes to navigate where it needs to go. You just need to be patient until the meshes download. Overall, the full mesh set is about 450MB (but you don't need the full set to get started).

You just need to be a little more patient, and are at the mercy of the download speeds provided by your ISP.

Your log shows signs of cache corruption. To get you going again:

• Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
• Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
• Restart WoW and Honorbuddy

Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:

• You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
• You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
• There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.

If you are not off-and-away after this, please show us a fresh log.

The log I have uploaded was exactly after those steps you have mentioned, I deleted all the cache files and folders inside and restarted HB and Wow, Let the Wow reupdate the files and the ran the HB clean.

I did both "Perfect Pitch" and "Running Rampant" and then bot worked fine after, I took a look at the profile myself and notice these lines:

but the quest First assault becomes available after you finish the other two, could that be the problem ?
my next toon is a bit far away from these quests if you want when I get here I can manually remove the first assault quest and move it after the other to see if it solve the problem.

Hi again, U12e12a,

To my knowledge the Dread Wastes gets the zone achievement as I recall (i.e., it does all the quests). It sounds like you've got other problems, and we'll need to see a log to help you further. Playing "20 questions" is just not a way to troubleshoot.

It looks like you may be suffering from cache corruption. To get you going again, here's how to repair the cache issue:

• Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
• Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
• Restart WoW and Honorbuddy

Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:

• You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
• You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
• There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.

If you're not off-and-away after this, please post a rsh log and let's have another look.

Damn! I don't know why, but every time I run this profile I get extra window saying that I've already completed some steps etc, and it keeps appearing on and on... I've done everything as it says there, even cleared my quests, but still no changes... Any idea how can I fix this? Tho i worked perfectly when I've run it first time...

P.S I like your work, keep it up!!!

good to hear that doing all quest in there.. leveing new chara now and going to try it soon on that zone and tell u tomorrow if i got same problem and thank you again .
can I control the selling items he keep selling green items that i can use for my enchanting mats + cooking mats is there way to fix it by send them by mail box ? and thank you so much

Do you have the Pandaria Dailies Plugin enabled? I haven't had a problem with it moving out of badstuff on my toons with the newest version. Thundering Skies, I'll admit still has some issues. Either not being able to find a path, or not being able to pull it (A cc issue really), but I don't think I've had a case of death yet on them

got it, she now moves out of it. To bad she moves to other mobs wich she pulls and then dies Maybe i should use another combatprofile for a dk

Hi, Tumbum and Mario27,

Did you actually fail to complete the quest because the eggs weren't destroyed?

I've run at least two dozen toons through this encounter, and it always succeeded without destroying the eggs. Agreed, this is sub-optimal, but is sufficient unless people are failing the quest because of this issue. The time spent to write a custom (versus general 'escort type') Quest Behavior for this encounter could be better spent other places--unless the behavior is absolutely necessary.

it doesend fail it just dont kil the ads that heal the elite mob that we need to kil so it takes a long time. so i just killed those ads self they heal the quest mob and cant be killed in that time u need to quickly kill those ads or els they heal him ful and keeps there all the time

Yes this is correct. All my last Toon doesnt destroy the Eggs. But they arent strong enough to kill the Mob without destroying the eggs. There was just one success, but there was another player at this quest and killed the eggs, so it was no problem. Alone, i dont think it works, the heal of the eggs are to much.

i know normally i just stop the bot and do those my self it isnt that mutch but i hope they can fix that issue with the eggs

tested it with 2 accounts and it runs through all daylis without any problems... Golden Lotus is working too so no problems today... thx for this amazing work....
