Bot tries to turn in quest "The Mantid" to wrong location.

Coordinates are correct in profile (verified using Developer Tools)

Profile code: <TurnIn QuestName="The Mantid" QuestId="30361" TurnInName="Ambassador Len" TurnInId="58954" X="-1351.392" Y="2212.089" Z="23.35205" />

Developer Tools Copy XML Code: <Vendor Name="Ambassador Len" Entry="58954" Type="Repair" X="-1351.392" Y="2212.089" Z="23.35172" />

So barely off on just the Z coordinate, doesn't seem like a big deal to me. However, when the bot actually tries to turn in the quest, the bot runs to a different location entirely

Coordinates of actual location where bot moves: X="-1709.009" Y="1585.148" Z="15.28859" /> (Also grabbed from Developer Tools)

If you manually move to the appropriate location and start the bot, the bot will detect the NPC and turn in the quest.

Ok, then in this case, what is it about this particular golden lotus daily profile which forces it to mount the default mount? Is there anything else I can do to fix it?

My only thought is that my profile makes calls to HB to force you to mount. There is no call to "mount Albino Drake" only "mount a flying mount".
So I assume once the ForcedMount call has been made, it actually changes your mount ID typed in.
Can't confirm or deny this is what happens, but there you go.

To answer the change it question: Sure you can change it to remove all these calls...but it will more than likely break this profile to the "unusable" point.

CONFIRMED: ForcedMount.cs calls for "Mount.FlyingMounts.First().CreatureSpell.Cast();" which casts the FIRST flying mount on your mount list.
So to answer again the change bit: If you can get it to use the actual mount listed there, then there you go.
And if you do, let us know.

I love your profiles!!!!!!! I can't wait till you finish those last alliance dailies. You make wow life so much easier!

to the person with the albino drake issue. If you don't put in a correct mount ID or name, it will default to the top most mount alphabetically, IE albino drake.

No. ForcedMount resets the mount in the space provided by calling for the first mount on the list. Without a change to the CustomBehavior, this is unavoidable.

The bot still insists on mounting the Albino Drake during the Golden Lotus dailies. Every other profile, it uses the specific mount "46199" which I input. Any advice on this? Using Albino Drake just screams "I am botting, please report me"
Mounting is handled by HB

Sorry TheBrodieMan, I don't mean to hijack this thread.

Here is the modified ForcedMount behaviour, if anyone is interested. It will now use the mount ID (or name) you have provided in HB's settings instead of the first random flying mount.

You must copy this file into the following folder and REPLACE the existing file. ...Honorbuddy\Quest Behaviors

This has had NO testing (but it should work properly). I'm simply counting down the seconds while at work and trying to avoid doing any real work for the next 45 minutes. :)

I will not be supporting this. There will be no further discussion of this in TheBrodieMan's thread.

That is all.

Is Dread Wastes still not working?

Every time I start it up it tries to get the quest "Gambling Problem" and just sits in front of the NPC.

Hi, Mado,

These things are almost always a user-caused problem. But, no way to help you with it without a full log attached.

Hey again here :)

Just having some troubles with the Bot.
It's telling me

Bot Stopped! Reason: Could not create 'Current Behavior' in quest bot; an exception was thrown: Could not find file (some folder from my notebook)

I leveld up by myself ( got thank you i was at the end of the level) and changed the profilescript to Kun Lai - this one works

Hope you can help me :)
cheers

Hey, wondering if someone could help me. Leveling a Monk, and I am stuck in Zangermarsh

Currently using your profile [[Native-Fly][A - Quest] BC 58-70 [Kick]], @ lvl 65 and my character refuses to switch zones. I have tried restarting Honorbuddy, start/stop and I tried checking the profile for ignore checkpoint and it is set to False.

Here is an attached log. I dinged about 20 seconds later and tried to force my toon to switch zones but he just refuses to do so.

Overall, great profile though. No real issues other than this. All other cases my toon would switch zones immediately when I stop/started after a level.

There is a Problem with Cloud Serpent Quest:
<!-- A Feast for the Senses -->

The fishing of the 10 fishes works good but the casting of fire and creating the fishes won't work.

<If Condition="!Me.HasAura("Cozy Fire")" >
<CustomBehavior File="RunMacro" Macro="/cast Cooking Fire" />
<CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" WaitTime="3000" />
</If>
<CustomBehavior File="RunMacro" Macro="/cast Cooking" />
<While Condition="GetItemCount(74641) < 5" >
<CustomBehavior File="Misc\RunLua" Lua="for i=1,GetNumTradeSkills() do if GetTradeSkillInfo(i)=='Fish Cake' then DoTradeSkill(i,(select(2,GetTradeSkillInfo(i)))) end end" WaitTime="2000" />
</While>
<CustomBehavior File="Misc\RunLua" Lua="CloseTradeskill()" />

Maybe its because of my german client. Is there a chance to make it decide by client language?

"/cast Kochfeuerstelle" instead of "/cast Cooking Fire" or could you connect it to an id?
The thing we need is called: 'Fischk?chlein' or ItemID = 74641

Do i need something special plugin to Misc\RunLua ?

Thanks.
You profiles are awesome :)

Wow. I never thought that the calls for English words Would cause such a problem. I will make the changes that it calls for ID numbers instead of words.

Anyone else watch your bot fight tagged mobs on golden lotus dailies ?
If so is there a fix ?>

It happens. It's mostly the bot and not so much the profile. But if the profile selects to attack something, and it's already been tagged by the time it gets to it, the bot does not differentiate.

Its a combination of HB and CC, but ultimately the CC chooses if it should accept the target HB has decided to pull, at that point the CC should be checking if the mob is tagged or not.

I cannot get any profile to work for me. I start one - for instance GL in the attached log - and the bot moves to the Pagoda, picks up the quests, then goes and kill one mob. Loots it. Then stands on top of it indefinitely. If I manually send it to attack another mob; it kills, loots, then returns to stand on the first mob.

This log is the first and only log I've ran since a fresh install immediately before.

Regardless - many, many thanks brodie.

Hi, Lalapuh, and thanks for the log,

In the first post of this thread, Kick indicates he provides a number of behaviors that must be copied to Honorbuddy/Quest Behaviors/. You have failed to copy one or more of these behaviors.

cheers,
