Hi, Yblaster2k, and thanks for the logs.

In the first log, the bot is trying to head to repair. This is normal.
[01:28:49.425 D] Changed POI to:Type: Repair, Name: Claretta​

Apparently, there are a fair number of mobs between you and the repair person.


In the second log, the bot is trying to get to Admiral Taylor to pick up Westwind Rest quest. In this second log, you clicked the "Stop" button while Honorbuddy was loading the meshes need to calculate the path to get to the Admiral. Apparently, he is a fair distance away from your current location (this is usual when changing quest hubs), and the mesh loads and path calculations can take a while (sometimes, a couple of mins), if the distance is great.

In both these logs, it looks like the bot is operating as expected. You just need a little more patience. :D

You were supposed to turn in the "Cleansing the Mere" quest--not pick it up. If you are in the area near the NPC, just restart Honorbuddy, and it should be able to pick up where it needs now.

If that doesn't get you going, please post a fresh log. We can't diagnose problems when we can't see what's going wrong.

amazing profile used it from level 20ish and am now level 55 and only experienced one problem where it got stuck in a barrier chasing a gliched mob but its been flawless since

Hi, Yblaster2k,

So far, you haven't reported one problem with the profile--everything has been Honorbuddy or user-error related.

This time, it looks like your Honorbuddy cache is corrupt. Here's how you fix it...
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.
If you are unhappy with this profile pack, you are welcome to run one of the tons of others in the Profiles forum. A couple of the other popular ones at the moment are Botanist's profile pack (grinding), and Cava's profile pack (questing). And, there are many many more from which to choose.

I've been working with your non-profile-related problems here to be nice. But, you should probably report future problems to the Support forum, please.

[N - Quest] 87-87.5 Krasarang Wilds [Kick]

Just wondering why the bot targeted the horde pvp lvl 90 elite in krasarang wilds when hunting Needlebeak for Crane Mastery: Needlebeak.

Lucky my monk windwalker is OP @ lvl 87 and just owned it.

Also that script has 2 x <SellBlue>False</SellBlue>

It turns out you *did* attach a log to the other post, but I was just too blind to see it.

First, you'll want to delete or update ProfessionBuddy in your Honorbuddy/Bots directory--it is having serious compile issues.

To your immediate problem...
Aye, the log shows exactly what you describe. I've seen Honorbuddy do this a handful of times--it just stops executing profile directives. If your so inclined I'd report this to the Support forum, and attach your log so the BosslandGmbH employees can get it in front of HBdev.

To get you going again...
the only work-around I know is to pick up Lao-Chin and Serevex from Taran Zhu, manually. You may have to go so far as to do the quest and turn it in to get going again, but I'd try it first with just doing the pickup.

Sorry about the inconvenience, but this is an Honorbuddy issue--not a profile problem.

Hi, Damoiscrazy,

I ran into that problem also. It appears that Honorbuddy is not honoring a blackspot for that area. I've no idea as to why or how that can happen, but I'm pretty certain that Kick is aware of this issue.

As Damoiscrazy pointed out, lines 12 and 13 of the "[N - Quest] 87-88 Krasarang Wilds [Kick].xml" file are redundant.

ok thx, yea i eventualy picked up the quest from taran zhu at the sik'vess lair and then started the bot and seems to work good so far now

I was thinking. You can't really blacklist that area due to the profile being neutral.

Sure you can. Honorbuddy's profile grammar is powerful enough to allow blackspots based on faction. It would look like this:

Hi, Yogi9999,

You should've just gotten a dialog that told you "not to stop the profile". The profile is waiting for the flying boat to come to its location (it normally follows a patrol route). When the boat arrives, things will progress normally.

If you stopped Honorbuddy, then you will have to find the flying boat yourself, and do the half-dozen quests on the boat manually. When all the boat quests are done, you can start Honorbuddy again, and it should pick up and continue.
