BTW, most (if not all) quests that use the VehicleMenuBarActionButton#:Click() do not work anymore. This button was changed to OverrideActionBarButton#. I have tested that this is the name of the button in both Default UI and Bartender.

The quest "Graduation Speech" in Hyjal (ID: 25315) and the quest "Keep Them off the Front" in Deepholm do not work.

Note: The 17 progress on the quest was from me doing it manually.

For the deepholm quest, changing:

I think you did something wrong. Mostly all Users use the Questing Bot and it works, so ... without a Logfile no one is able to Help you.
 
I thought i was gonna have to show you my logs today, but the bot did extremely well. except for some of the quests not supported. Did you want me to post them anyways ?

From your statement regarding "third time", I read that the technique does work for you. If so, then we need to figure out why you need to do it so often.

Is there any chance you are running several sessions of Honorbuddy out of the same Honorbuddy directory on disk?

Hi, Istark,

We've discovered that the InteractWith behavior that ships with Honorbuddy is borked when used with some NPCs. Threre's nothing a profile author can do about it, and is at the mercy of the next drop(s) of Honorbuddy to repair it. Kick is aware of this issue, and I'm certain he's yelled at HBdev about it. :D

You're try to complete the quest The Emerging Threat. Talk to Ethel Rathor and pick up that quest, if its not already in your log. After that, talk to him again, and take the hippogryph ride around the bay. Turn the quest in, then restart Honorbuddy.

You should be off-and-away after that.

We do not do Skype for support. Support for Honorbuddy belongs in the Support forum. Issues with Kick's profiles should be posted on this thread. You may be able to convince a Community member to help you through Skype, but please do not badger them if they decline.

If you're having problems with Kick's profiles, please describe the issue you're having, and be sure to attach your log.

I see you are new to our Community...welcome aboard!

You may want to spend some time in the Guides forum. Of particular interest to you will be the "A quick Hb guide/presentation for a fast setup" thread.

Hi, Boodgie,

Any bug reports are appreciated! We'd like to make Kick's profiles the best that can be done.

But, we'll need a log to analyze the problem. As you've seen in the other posts in this thread, problems are frequently caused by the CombatRoutines, or plugins, or Honobuddy caches, or any of dozens of other things that are outside of profile author's control. The log is the only way we can chase the problem back to the source (and mayhaps get it addressed there by working with HBdev or our peers).

I'd most definitely double-check Hobo's point--you may have failed to copy quest behaviors as described in the first post of this thread. Thanks, Hobo!

If that doesn't get you going, we've no chance of helping you unless you attach your log that demonstrates the problem.

What you describe is not a profile problem, and you'll need to post your complaint in the Support forum.

You'll need to attach a log (over there), to have any chance at diagnosing your problem.

Im not even getting past the first 2 quest (orc starting zone) i've attached my log.

Installed SVN and updated to your kicks profile and started the 1-12 auto kick.

Not sure if im doing something wrong but it picked up the boar killing quest then this happened and it just stands there and stops HB.

Edit: this is only occuring when im attempting to play ORC shaman. ORC Warrior/mage have no issues and no errors come up. Even updated to the latest HB that was just launched moments ago.

[ForceSetVendor-v241(warning)]: The VendorType attribute has been deprecated.
Please replace it with DoMail/DoRepair/DoSell/DoTrain='true'

[CastSpellOn-v251(fatal) @line 309]: Toon doesn't know SpellId(0, "unknown")
Fatal error. Stopping Honorbuddy.

Hi again, MadBean, and thanks for the log!

I'm looking through the log, and its trying to pick up Winterfall Activity, then it just continuously interacts with the questgiver as you describe.

This sure looks like a caching issue to me. Can we try to clear the caches one more time following this process?...
  • Shut down WoW and Honorbuddy
  • Delete the WoW/Cache/, WoW/Data/Cache/, and Honorbuddy/Cache/ directories
  • Restart WoW and Honorbuddy
Caches can get corrupted a few of ways:
  • You switch toons, or do a quick log out/in, without restarting Honorbuddy
  • You simultaneously run multiple sessions of Honorbuddy from the same directory on disk
  • There are other (user caused) triggers, but these are the most common.

If that provides no joy, let's try to work-around it...
Go to Jadrag the Slicer and pick up Chips off the Old Block, do the quest manually, and turn it in. THEN, restart Honorbuddy.

If you still have problems after this, please post a fresh log, and let's have another look.

Hi, Basti84,

I researched the quest you cited, and can find no reports of the quest being bugged. My guess is something is happening peculiar to your Honorbuddy installation. But, without a log, we've no chance of figuring it out.
