It's unlikely that I'll add statistics, PB doesn't actually do the gathering, it uses existing botbases for that.

The frame rate stutters would happen after I picked an herb, and mounted and then the bot decided to turn with in the next 4 seconds. If the bot walked in a straight line after picking and running, frame rate was the same.

I tried several ways to make this work, and was getting errors such as

Compiler Error:1
Property or indexer 'Styx.WoWInternals.WoWObjects.LocalPlayer.ZoneId' cannot be assigned to -- it is read onlyCompiler Error:1
Cannot implicitly convert type 'string' to 'uint'Compiler Error:3
Operator '!=' cannot be applied to operands of type 'uint' and 'string'

Operator '!=' cannot be applied to operands of type 'uint' and 'string'

etc.. How should it be used?
 
I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong, but It does seem to only work for me using the 1-300 Herb and Mining (Ground). When I try and use Profession buddy with a gb2 profile 1-300. I get a message that says *Please switch bot Gatherbuddy. I am Lifetime using the latest Hb download (today). Is it another way I can get it to fly? I have loaded a old quest profile and I also tried to get it to work using GB2 in HB.

Thanks again you guy's really rock, and I appreciate all you do for our community.
 
i'm having a few problems getting this to run

it just sits there downloading mesh which also causes the lag on WoW to spike up to 15k ms+
and also i get

You can only be in 10 channels at a time.

come up in my genral tab on wow (this has me most conserned considering how Priox Archa was busted)

EDIT: well it seems to be working now, but i'm still a little conserned about the issue with the channels.

PB uses the HB's Npc Database and if you have multiple instances of HB sharing the same folder then it can cause locks according to reports.
This seems to be what you're experiencing.
 
This is absolutely revolutionary!!!!! I've already automated a few of those tasks which were too player specific to find pre-existing solutions for. I was actually in the middle of writing some of my own code which got dumped immediately when I saw this lol. Godsent!!

Anyway, there are tons of bugs. This can hardly be called anything more than an early beta imho, eventhough it does work just fine if you know how to work around the bugs.

Two bugs so far that need mentioning though:
-Sometimes items in your bags are counted as items in the bank (happened several times with resilient parchment for me). This has only happened with opened profiles for me though not with brand new ones while I'm creating them.
-Coordinates of npc's are missing the decimal sign after loading a profile. Happens a lot for me. I'm German, using "," as decimal sign by default.

Much much <3 for this goes out to you guys!!!!
 
just started this.. i had a gnomish army knife in my inventory, and it went and bought 2 pcikaxes for some reason.. other than that, seems to be working fine so far.
 
so i started this when i was 53/150 mining and 30/75 herbing.. he went around durotar and barrens mining and herbing.. once he hit 75/75 herbing, he now has stopped herbing, but he's 115/150 mining and he's still doing that.. will he eventually train by himself or do i have to go train manually?

edit: nope, it is now just flying around in ashenvale doing nothing.. is that normal?

edit2: now i went and trained manually, he flew back to ashenvale, but now he's not herbing or mining. - nevermind, i hadnt clicked start in the professionbuddy window... it's mining and herbing now. Still wondering if it is supposed to train for me or not tho?

If the herb and mining ranks are not the same you'll have to manually train since I didn't account for different ranks in the profile.
 
ya, i just completely dropped both and started over... just for science lol

seems ok now...
 
I can't get this to work to save myself.

Someone please give a step by step outline of how to load the 1-525 herb and mining for horde. Lvl 70 druid in Orgrimmar and don't know whether to start it in GB2 or Questing.

Fresh .4317 download

I had that same problem bazzzz

make sure you have Gatherbuddy in the bot drop down box and make sure you have a gatherbuddy profile loaded (doesnt matter what one)

then in the Professionbuddy page, load the .project file from the first post in this thread and click the red "stopped" button in the top right hand corner.

I'm having the exact same issue.

okay I fixed it.

1) Fresh install
2) Extract 1-525 profile from first post into the root of fresh hb directory
3) Copy and paste random GB2 profile into the root of fresh hb directory
4) Start HB and load GB2 profile from step 3
5) Enable ProfessionBuddy and load 1-525 profile
6) Hit Stopped.

After those steps it started working. Best of luck!

Hey kick, nice profile that i have done on about 5 toons so far. i have 2 toons that are certianly more than half way through that i did by hand. Problem is it keeps going to try and get the warchiefs board quests in org when i start (i did it differently). Could you possibly post a version without that quest line in as my attempt at editing that part out so far has been horrible.

First Edit:
Never mind i made one by just deleting that one quest with pickup and turnin. To be honest its rather annoying that it needs an edit im amazed it doesnt autocomplete it server side if you do it a different way.



Second Edit:
I use notepad to edit these. I dont feel like counting down to line 241. What program do you use that easily navigates there. Supposedly thats where the error lies currently

It does this with EVERY ProfessionBuddy profile ive used yet.
 
Hopefully this is the correct thread. I used the questing profile from your blog package.

I unziped your Behaviour and BC went fine for me, thx for that. Now to the thing I wanna report.

I'm @ Borean Tundra and I get an error. I found out that the char should use an item to call a Questgiver, but he doesnt do. The Last quest he did was called "The Cell", if this helps you.
