HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Kick: Is your Klaxxi daily supported? - Yesterday it worked fine but it was the first day I had tried it - Today when I tried it it just flies around, and then says end. - It does complete SOME of the tasks partially that require killing, but only if a mob is where it lands basically. I also tried to set it to pull distance 100, and while that helped some, it didn't fix the issue.

I have read some silly issues like needing to delete the cache folders when doing dailies?

Log attached - I deleted the quests and let the profile do it's thing - it picked up the quests, flew to where it assumed it needed to go, killed a few mobs for The Fight Against Fear, then flew home and ended.

Is it just me or are the Christmas trees EVERYWHERE strategically placed to mess with botters? Every time i look over i'm stuck running into a tree........... kind of weird if you ask me

also now at 66 i have some troubles. it tells me something like (getting to neutral with the mag har, do not interrupt) and rides somewhere randomly (doesn't fly anymore)

now i restarted it it wont to anything anymore i put my log on here thanks!!

Hi, Ttrapg, and thanks for the log.

For some reason, you're standing in an area which Honorbuddy cannot generate a path to your destination. Maybe you're on a flying mount and hovering in the air? Recall, that Honorbuddy does not yet fly natively.

The profile is trying to turn in The Assassin to a Fel Orc Corpse.

Just move to the corpse, and turn in the quest. Make sure you're standing on the ground when you restart Honorbuddy.

Hi, Fumetsuno,

For problems like this, you need to attach your full log.

From the information you've posted, I see nothing preventing you from questing. The only thing I see referencing 87+ is the profile name. Kick names his profiles according to the recommended levels for the zone. Nothing more.

If you're trying to skip over zones, that's very bad. You should run the profile pack start-to-finish--starting with Jade Forest; otherwise, you will come up short on experience when you need flying to do the Dread Wastes.

If you actually have a problem, you need to post your full log, please.

Hi, Dreamgraphix and Taurenguard,

This is not a profile problem. Its a seasonal mesh issue with Honorbudy. My guess, is they will never remesh for this kind of thing, leaving it for the unstuck handler to deal with. You could always ask in the Support forum if they would be willing to permanently tune the meshes for these doodads.

Hi !!

I started with Jade Forest but he did only a few quests. When i try again he go to a npc and shall take a quest but it is now quest at that npc, thats why i questet to 86 by my self to try Valley of the Four Winds but the bot stop and said that i needed to be 87 to quest there

I've used it a few times, at first it was fantastic, but now it picks up the quest and only attempts it i.e. I mainly run the Klaxxi profile first, it will pick up all daily quests, try only one of the quests i.e. kill one mob, then loads another profile like Golden lotus.

Any suggestions?

Again, you're asking for help without attaching your log.

I'm going to guess that you aren't actually using Kick's profile pack, but are probably using another author's--maybe Cava's profile pack?

We can't provide you any more help, unless you attach your full log.

Keep all quests together in the same setup you download them in. Moving from quest hub to hub depends on it!

Do not just overwrite your install with a new one, this will not fix it or count as a fresh install.

sorry i dont know if i am posting this in the right section but i just bought honorbuudy and the problem with me is that i have set kicks profiles and i dont see the toon taking quests she only kills mobs in the area but no questing ? am i doing sth wrong ??

I run this profile daily on 3 different characters and it takes little to no interaction to complete 30+ daily quests every day provided you follow the instructions in the first post.

Start fresh with a new copy of honorbuddy to run the dailies with, make sure you keep the SVN up to date. 1 page ago I posted a helpful little .BAT file to make a fresh copy of honorbuddy ready to go to run your dailies that will help.

I think your doing a really good job with the profiles! I just started to use them today.
Need any help? PM me. I have just written the code for one of your missing "The Anglers" dailies.
The quest: Shocking. I had my own Fishing Quest Behavior, PM me please :)

EDIT: Which profile would you recommend to start running?

Hey,

I see there needs to be change done at the profile for Valley of the Four Winds.

The NPC Wing NGA at Halfhill has been moved to 56.47 50.34.

I hope this helps :)

My shaman was standing there and wanted to interact but could't because the NPC was moved to another location as of patch 5.1
 
Solved: I deleted the files in the cache folder, and re-ran - and now it's working, what is stored in the cache folder that would have caused this to fail? Is it necessary to delete them every day if I am running dailies profiles?
