My looting was broken the other day (for some other purpose) and when I toggled the autoloot option in WoW interfaces, looting started to work. Can't hurt to try .

this version is working fine for me no looting problems turn auto loot on in wow settings

I was going to make a very detailed questing profile guide for when Cata hits. Everything was really straightforward so +Rep . I recommend that you use quotes for code fragments though since its easier for them to copy and paste since they are learning.

Also in the bottom with the put-together example profile there are some errors with <Avoidmobs> and <Blackspots> (.AvoidMobs> and .Blackspots>)

Actually it runs fine w/ those in there. i did note --> // edit carrots as needed --- but I usually delete those unless I'm making profiles where something might kill you

I'll also be looking at your questing guide after you make it. Questing is a slight PITA for me as it deals with messing around w/ quest id's and use items and a bunch of other stuff xD

I have read yours, Synik. And I know I didn't cover everything in here since this is a profile for noobs. The 2nd post is the one for more advanced people, which i'll edit once hb2 comes up. And we both know that people check guides before Wiki (generally)

Very true, well good luck with the additional content mate. With any luck it will encourage more people to start writing their own profiles.
