First, what you are asking about is not a profile-related problem. As such, the issue should be reported in a new thread in the Support forum.

Second, without a log to analyze, nobody has a chance at helping you with this problem.

Usually, its a problem with a malfunctioning plugin or combat routine.

Problems with quest in Twilight Higliands.

On the quest "Sifting Through The Wreckage" (http://wowhead.com/quest=27642)" Interacting with Dunwald Victim the toon just runs up to Eoin Dunwald and spams:

"[06:26:31.928 D] Activity: Moving to hunting ground waypoint 'hunting ground center'
[06:26:32.090 D] StyxWoW.AreaManager.CurrentGrindArea is null
[06:26:41.601 D] Activity: No viable mobs in area."

The problem is the collection distance was set too low for that quest. We've increased that range in v2974.

Major stuck issue in deepholm: It happens just before it starts killing for one of those drop quests, I think when skipping the boat quests in deepholm, been going on for a few months. Bot just runs into a wall and walks back and forth, pretty terrible and logmeout does nothing :/

As explained in [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post], "stuck" issues are not a problem with the profile.

You should make a new thread in the Support forum about this problem.

Also, any time you report a problem or ask for assistance you should always attach your full log. Otherwise, the people trying to help you have nothing to analyze.

Stuck on Kun-Lai Summit while he was trying to "climb" a mountain through a wront path at 50.78 63.97 while he was going to turn in Bros Before Hozen.

Everything is working like it should in deepholm using the 82-84 profile but it is extremely slow it will stand near or fly above the quest giver for at least 5 mins before turning it in ill post a log later.

First, there is absolutely no chance of assisting you with a problem if you don't attach your full log that captures the issue.

Second, please read [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post]. What you are both describing are navigational issues that have absolutely nothing to do with the profile. As such, the issues belong as new threads in the Support forum.

Hi Guys n Gals -

I've been using Kick's Profile Pack for quite some time with much success to level many toons. Recently I began to find that pressing the "Stop" button did not stop the bot right away. The bot would continue on, and often cause much FPS drops and "Stuck" issues. Making the bot jump all over the screen and look very "Bottish".

At first I thought it was a change to HB, but the problem didn't occur with Combat bot or Dungeonbuddy. Only with Questing Bot.

After trying various things one at a time like disabling/removing plugins, and disabling addons... I found that even with all plugins and addons "Disabled" the bot still takes 5-10 seconds (down from 15-45) to "Stop". The only way it was (close to) instant, was if the Addons folder (WoW) and the Plugins folder (HB) were completely empty, not just disabled.

That lead me to examine the Kicks profile I was using -- [H - Quest] 12-58 K-EK [Kick]

I've discovered that it's not an HB component that is causing the issue. It's the Kick's profile itself. It appears that each time the "Stop" button is pressed, the profile wants to take an inventory of the WoW client's UI Addons, as well as the HB Plugin's being used. While I'm sure this is useful information for Kicks, and Chinajade to troubleshoot, it is causing problems with the bot shutdown. Especially if there are many addons/plugins to inventory, regardless of if they are enabled or not.

To test my theory, I switched to Cava's profiles. The issue is gone and the "Stop" button works instantly.

Any thoughts about this?
Can this be improved, or maybe can the inventory be moved to the startup of the profile instead of the shutdown?
There are many times when I'm questing that I need to stop the bot right away such as if someone tries to talk to me and I don't want to look like a bot and just run away while I'm trying to talk. Also if someone tries to ask me about sharing a particular mob kill for a quest. I like to be able to stop the bot, invite to group and kill the mob in question, instead of being a jerk and killing the mob without saying a word.

This is a most excellent analysis, and indeed the development team is aware of the issue. The behavior aggravating the problem is ProfileCompatibiltyInfo, but that is not where the problem lies. The problem is a race condition inside HBcore, and a senior staff member is already investigating the issue (bug HB-193).

Today there was a SVN Update for 12-58 Alliance, but my Bug Report is not fixxed -_-

Dunno if it is Honorbuddy or profile... but three chars have stopped questing in the Stranglethorne Vale, at Nesingwary camp with the following mesage:

Could not find quest with ID 208! (Or could I: False)
Could not create a performable quest objective for objective with ID 3880!
Bot stopped! Reason: Could not create current in quest bot!

Quest 208 seems to be this one: Big Game Hunter - Quest - World of Warcraft

Picking the quest up manually from Hemmet Nesingwary seems to get the bot going again.

This is still a problem which hasn't even been aknowledged yet...

I'm very sorry for neglecting this thread a little. Swamped with coding problems to solve on a number of fronts. Some of the issues require writing more HelpDesk (and other) articles. Additionally, am trying to get a new Wiki put back in place.

It takes between four and eight hours a day for me just to process the forums. And every hour in the forums is an hour that we're not solving problems. Hopefully, Kick's thread will be caught up by the end of the day.

Copy the plugins provided by the profile pack into your Honorbuddy installation...
Copy all the plugins you find in
.../Kick's Profiles/1-90 Questing Profile Pack/Plugins/
into your
.../Honorbuddy/Plugins/ directory.
When you start Honorbuddy, do not forget to enable these additional plugins.

Within the Plugins folder I only see a ProfileHelper folder.

However, within the "1-90 Questing Profile Pack" folder I see a lot of folders that look like they might be useful. So I'm confused. Do I only copy ProfileHelper to .../Honorbuddy/Plugins/ directory or do I also copy the Classic, BC, etc folders?

Neither of these issues are a problem with Kick's profiles--its a problem with your installation. Placing the profiles in the .../Honorbuddy/Bots/ directory confuses Honorbuddy to no end. Please read [post=1259749]Obtaining a Copy of the Profiles[/post] again, and pay particular attention to "This folder should be outside the Honorbuddy directory tree."

There was a wow patch today. Honorbuddy updated and restarted. Now I am running into this issue every time I select Cava_Starter_Profiles.xml

I'm having no luck with this what so ever. Followed all the directions to get it setup yesterday. Turned it on, it ran and quested for a bit, then kept acting weird. So I kept having to turn it on and off, finally got it to work, it walked my BE to the transportation stone and then just stood there and did nothing for a long time. I went ahead and clicked the stone myself, it went to UC and got on the zep, and wouldn't get off (even though it said in the bot window it was getting off) so I had to manually get off and turn the bot off and jump off the zep down into org. Pressed start again and it said it wanted to learn the flight path in org, but just got on the elevator and kept riding it up and down. I don't get it, so many people say how amazing this addon is and how they can pretty much 1-90 it with no problem but I've spent hours and hours trying to get it to work and am barelly level 8.

Now it went back on the elevator to fly to Sin'Jin and will not get off the elevator lol.

Your log is showing many more problems than the one you cited. It looks like you have copied some cruft from an older Honorbuddy installation into a new Honorbuddy installation, and this is what's causing the problems.

With as many issues as the log is showing... at this point, a 'clean install' is the most expedient way to repair the issue.

As you start to "put stuff back" into the new installation, be sure to get fresh copies out of the forum. Do NOT copy stuff from previous installations. Otherwise, you'll be right back in the same boat.

Actually, you are good as is. I need to updated those instructions as "no copying is required". All the plugins that used to ship with Kick's profiles, are now part of the Honorbuddy distribution itself.

So, don't bother copying anything, just select your profile and you should be off-and-away.

It looks like you are not running Honorbuddy with Windoze admin privileges. If Windoze admin permissions do not resolve the problem, then you've something seriously wrong with your Honorbuddy installation, and a 'clean install' should clear the problem.

If still no joy after a clean install, please open a new thread in the Support forum with a fresh log. What you are experiencing is not a problem with the profile.
