HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Hi chinajade,

Currently questing 'Sealing the way'. This is my 2nd time monitoring my toon for this quest as I have previously faced problem in Deepholme as well with my monk.

1. As the bot lands to one of the npc. He dismounts
2. He attacks one of the troggs, but decides to move elsewhere
3. The loops begins, trying to attack and move to another spot, causing the bot moving back and forth in an infinite loop.

On some point using "Travel Form" and "Fly Form" on Druid also using "Running Wild" on Worgen cause profile isnt dismounting or even using selected forms it that mean i cant use druid forms while using this profile ?

Hi, Kasia,

What you are describing isn't a problem with the profile. You need to make a new thread in the Support forum, and be sure to attach your full log that captures the issue.

Thanks for applying the fixes Chinajade, another issue arises + changed the profile and got it fixed.

This is not a profile bug, the profile is issuing the correct directives. This appears to be an Honorbuddy bug in processing a "Kill" <Objective>. Please make a new thread in the Support forum regarding this issue.

Alternatively, you can do the quest manually and move on.

Hi Chinajade,

This is also the 2nd time I have faced this issue. Previously on an earlier version of HB, I thought it would be solved in the later version.

Problem:
- The bot fails to land during quest turn-in to Pyrium Lodestone.
- The bot flys above the NPC, says it fails to land and dismounts in mid-air.
- Rinse and repeat endlessly.

Edit:

I am attaching another log as well to show the bot starting from 0. This is happening to two NPCs, Pyrium Lodestone and Slate Quicksand.

My last post of the day, i apologies if this is not directly related to the questing profile or if it is an HBcore issue, but it is about the eastern kingdom to northrend traveling profile (the alliance travel route), it is not working anymore since this latest test release 699.

Below is the log showing that the bot works all the way to the dock waiting for the ship to come, then instead of getting on it, the bot just move back and away into the water like 50 yards back and left from the destination, and then mount up and swims back to the dock, and while the ship is waiting, the bot goes back and forth, and the moment the ship leaves, the bot stands in place waiting for the next one to come, and so on...

Edit : On second view, seems like the bot tried to force himself to travel to northrend, and while it needed to repair, the profile just got screwed up, causing an infinite back and forth loop between vendor and transportation behavior, what a coincidence, i must really attract bugs :(

Hi, Dmyoussef, and thank you for another recommendation.

However, I believe your copy of the profile is stale. I'm looking at v2843 of [Fly][A - Quest] BC 58-70 [Kick].xml, and it is not structured in the manner you are showing us. Indeed, v2843 has the Objective inside a While loop.

Hi, Memelook,

Aye, I've already got this issue in front of the team. And, I specifically cited Pyrium Lodestone and Slate Quicksand as quest-givers near the problem (but they are not the problem, I believe). The problem has something to do with the flying navigator, and it starts throwing GreyMagic exceptions when trying to land.

I'll update the information in front of the with your new logs. Thank you, but there's nothing we can do about this in the profile--its a HBcore issue.

Aye, it seems some people get all the bad luck. And this is a great example of why profiles are never really finished. And, if the get close to it, Bliz ups and changes a bunch of stuff.

For now, we've captured the problem with the UseTransport behavior to [post=1260136]Known Bugs List: Miscellaneous (Rep, Seasonal, etc)[/post].

In the future, would you be so kind to zip and attach logs? With the log file in a real editor its a lot easier to look at things than from the browser. I've got access to regular expressions and other powerful tools for poking around, that just aren't in the web browser.

I stared at the log for a very long while, but was unable to visualize what was happening.

So, the best we could do is capture the issue to [post=1260134]Known Bugs List: Cata 80-85[/post], and will need to get a toon through the area to see it for ourselves.

This is not a profile bug, the profile is issuing the correct directives. This appears to be an Honorbuddy bug in processing a "Kill" <Objective>. Please make a new thread in the Support forum regarding this issue.

Alternatively, you can do the quest manually and move on.

It appears you have modified Kick's profiles, and caused the failure.

Kick's profiles do not ever modify the TicksPerSecond attribute. Please revert your changes, and all should be good.

I have modified the profiles? I haven't done anything to them expect for selecting them and press start. I've also updated Kick's svn like 10 ten times since yesterday.

Hi, Hetsig,

I don't know what to tell you. Neither the profiles, nor the UserSettings behavior contains "TicksPerSecond", which is what your log is reporting. I just created a Tauren Druid, loaded the "Horde Auto-Loader" profile, and it started questing with no problems. This is precisely the activities that are shown in your log.

The problem is most definitely on your end.

Perhaps, try entirely deleting your local copy of Kick's profile, and redownload fresh. If that provides no joy, the next thing I would try is a 'clean install'. Full instructions for that, here:

Hi chinajade,

Thanks for the reply. To help you visualize better, I have took a screenshot and did some editing.

1. The red circle indicates where the troggs are battling the npc. The bot will dismount at this NPC location and then attempt to kill the troggs. After hitting the trogg once, the bot decides to move to yellow
2. Since the troggs didn't exactly get aggroed by the bot (the troggs are still attacking the NPC), the bot decides to move back to red. While doing so, a click command continues to be sent at the yellow spot.
3. The bot then get stuck in between red and yellow, constantly moving back and forth. No troggs are killed in the process.
