I created a new character, the profile does not appear to be loading correctly, it gets stuck and loops continually saying:

A few days ago I posted an updated Auto Loader.xml, I wonder if they have implemented this and it is not working.
I think the problem is the first half of the profile path uses URL style forward slashes '/' but the second half use back slashes like in a Windows Directory structure'\'

I've not been online for the last 2 days so I'm not sure if the SVN has been updated.

EDIT: Had a look at some other random logs on the forums, it appears that the slashes going the wrong way is almost certainly the problem. I also checked the latest SVN and it does not have my updates in it, that's not to say the Buddy Store doesn't. For now, you should manually skip the the AutoLoader and launch the 1-12 profile for your Race if using the Buddy Store.

Hey im leveling horde classes right now, but im encountering problem with quests where you have to kill something then use an item on them from the 40+ range in Kalimdor

is there any way i can use this profile to level my horde toon in the Eastern Kingdoms?(when i was leveling alliance there your questing botbase kicked ass, quick and efficient)

Unfortunately that does not work, check out what I have in the buddy store. Only option is the autoloader.

The Bot seen to be stuck on the quest Dig-Boss Dinwhisker (wowhead.com/quest=27964)

It should kill Dark Iron Excavators (ID=47276) and Dark Iron Footman (ID=47275) until Dig-Boss Dinwhisker spawns, but the bot keeps running in circles searching for him

Might be the 4th time i'm going to try this post.

96 Warlock Talador profile. It use to just lag me out. Now its not doing that but it thinks i'm a brand new character and wants to go to SW. Another log is attached.

We've added your information as a new data point on HB-2341("LoadProfile QB: Throws exceptions when asked to load a store profile").

As a work-around, try loading the appropriate profile directly, rather than using the AutoLoader profile.

Indeed, LoadProfile is faced with two conflicting goals due to long-time M$oft damage for choosing the backslash as a directory separator:

• If the profile is being loaded from the filesystem, back-slashes should be used.
• If the profile is being loaded as a URI, slashes should be used.

We've added your details to HB-2341("LoadProfile QB: Throws exceptions when asked to load a store profile").

On your other point, the front matter to this thread contains the list of "Issues & Dispositions", and your contributions are still 'open' at the moment.

There is a problem when you end up in a situation where the bot want to buy but have problems finding "Trader Yula". Then the bot tries to trade with "Thaelin Darkanvil" however he is not a trader until you have completed a certain quest which name I can't remember.

The bot refuses to work and has a series of red text which I don't understand. Is this related to new HB release that make Kick profiles outdated?

My squishy keeps suciding on this mission. It hides in the edge, but then when some of the enemies get killed it runs to loot and dies every time. It was impossible to complete without help. Probably a good idea to turn of looting for that 5 stage quest.

hey i was doing oracle daily for rep and mount using the profile in your collection,

i have edited quest pick up as it had mount flying naviagion issues etc.

also fixed the shinys quest as bot wasnt checking for buffs to be able to find the shinies

also fixed a few other small things like killing areas etc


feel free to use/modify/copy anything ive changed into your own pack

i also wrote my own frenzyheart profile as you didnt have one, again feel free to add it to your svn, change anything etc that you feel necessary.

Why does your WoD profiles not contain the bonus quests? Wouldn't it be way faster to always do them?

I d/led the new installer. Uninstalled the old HB and it won't let me upload the notepad error log but here it is

There is a problem when you end up in a situation where the bot want to buy but have problems finding "Trader Yula". Then the bot tries to trade with "Thaelin Darkanvil" however he is not a trader until you have completed a certain quest which name I can't remember.

The bot refuses to work and has a series of red text which I don't understand. Is this related to new HB release that make Kick profiles outdated?

Instead, it appears that your Honorbuddy installation is damaged. This article should guide you through getting it put right:

You are suffering from GreyMagic errors. This means its possible you have program(s) that interfere with Honorbuddy. This article will walk you through cleaning up the usual suspects:

Thought I'd throw this out, I'm just starting to pick up programming so I don't have the skills to fix it yet.

Quest Admiral Taylor in Spires of Arak, the bot is not performing it correctly. It goes to interact with Admiral Taylor, doesn't wait long enough for story line to let Ephial walk out, change him to the hostile mob and attack before it runs to the house up the hill. By the time it's done in the house, the quest line has dropped out because of no interaction w/ hostile mob. The bot then abandons quest, and restarts, which in turn creates a loop. A very long loop if you forget to turn the bot off when you leave and it successfully abandons and restarts the quest for over 3 hours...

It needs to wait a little longer to interact, then attack the hostile mob. Then wait for Ephial, doesn't need to go to the house up the hill any longer, though it used to need to do so. This has been an issue for a while, but usually I'm around when running this profile so I just pause, then go and boom. Look for pause near the end where I manually completed the quest.
