Once again, a navigational issue. The problem is Honorbuddy's "stuck handler", and the profile has absolutely no control over this. If you are actually interested in having the problem repaired, please see [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post] for where such issues should be reported.

Strange thing is it worked fine on my Melee character.

Aye, we know the specific behavior for Ol' Blasty needs some work?as it currently misses a lot.

However, your problem seems to be something different:

This is something wrong with your Honorbuddy installation, and it seems to be interfering with this particular quest behavior. Please make a thread in the Support forum, and see about getting this problem cleared up. Until the Honorbuddy installation is working correctly, we can't properly chase problems with the profile.

Before you make the post into the Support forum, if you'd like to try something...
I'd try deleting the Honorbuddy/Settings/ directory and let Honorbuddy automatically re-create it. You should also make certain that both the WoWclient and Honorbuddy are being run with Windoze admin privileges.

On casters - These quests with Neutral (Yellow) mobs dont work.
With Melee - They work.

Wth.

"The Meat They'll Eat" and the turtle quest.
Its just chasing the mobs, so you manually have to babysit and dot them



How can I force the bot to pull mobs from X distance (or between XY distance) rather than almost melee range?

The profile makes absolutely no distinction between Melee and Ranged classes. Both types of classes have the same quests to pickup and turnin, and the same set of objectives to complete. Differences in the two types of classes are controlled by Honorbuddy itself, and the Combat Routine—not the profile.

We also see these errors in your log (again, indicating a damaged installation):

Looks like there is a problem with Honorbuddy or your Honorbuddy installation. You should open a thread in the Support forum to have the issue addressed.

I have reinstalled HB.
I removed everything but the DefaultProfiles folder and redownloaded the zip.

Same issues, and some of the questnpcs are bugging it out, Ken Ken for instance, it wants to pick up a quest, it already has.

And now it got stuck in Mei Barrelbottom.... and stop blaming it on HB installation please.

In Kun-Lai Summit, the alliance quest Blue Dwarf Needs Food Badly to collect animal bits, the bot seems to have trouble targeting the Northwind Hawk mobs (Entry ID: 59700, Faction: 195). The issue is that the hawks fly very high in the air and move around really quickly, so most of the time interacting with them is spent chasing them in circles while you are mounted before finally giving up when they get out of range. There are plenty of ther viable mobs in the hunting ground for this quest, maybe these mobs should be ignored or blacklisted or something.

Sorry for no log, but not in a good position to post one. More of a suggestion.

Attempting to pick up quests already completed is a cache issue?not a profile issue. This is covered both in our [post=1259964]FAQ[/post], and this article:

The profile has issued the correct directives to Honorbuddy (i.e., "Goal: Collect Jar of Pigment x 1"). If Honorbuddy is not carrying out the directives correctly, this is not a profile issue.

Once again, "not attacking yellow-named mobs" is not an issue with the profile. This is covered in the [post=1259964]FAQ[/post].


It is obvious you do not understand how all the components of Honorbuddy fit together, and this lack of knowledge is causing frustration for both of us. We're going to ask you to:

  • Please read the first few posts of this thread
    This should help you understand how the pieces of Honorbuddy fit together. Of particular focus should be [post=1259963]Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance[/post] ("WHERE to Post" section).

    We're also going to request that you read through all the articles provided by the [post=1061382]HelpDesk thread[/post].

  • Make future posts to the Support forum.
    The reason we are unable to help you in this thread is because you've yet to report an actual profile problem.

  • PM your Honorbuddy key to Tony, CodenameG or Bambam922 so it can be checked.
Until you do these things, we will be archiving all future posts you make to this thread.

It looks like you are flying fine. We are still working on the profiles putting flying in more places. "Native" flying in Honorbuddy is still a new feature. You can find more information here:

Hi,
from tanaris with this profile the toon stopped to attack targets.. he moves, pick up and turn in quest, uses quest item but he doesn't attack and die in a very poor way. I tried another CC but it's the same. Should be a profile issue?

I just tried to create another toon and it works flawless.. it seems that there are problem from tanaris

Plus if i open honorbuddy when the toon is attacked, hb attacks. After it loads profile, it don't attack anymore

questing profile in deepholm does not work well since he always trys to interact with npc flying 100 yards above them. nearly with all npcs. i checked their position, it seems it is corect in kicks profile. i think the mesh is broken or something.
seems its not only me who has this problem since there are always 2-3 palyers above the npcs at exact same position
