HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

Yesterday I tried a new character, It's now @ lvl 36 and stuck in Stranglethorn Vale :(
The next area on the map for leveling is Western plaguelands but the bot just doesn't stop not questing in Stranglethron Vale,

@ lvl 35, I manually took my toon all the way to plaguelands @ chillwinds camp,
restarted the bot and it did nothing, left it there for about 5 mins thinking it was downloading mesh or reconfiguring it's internal settings but No,
I ended up flying him back to STV, restarted the bot and it started working again! Continued on where it left off with his quests,
So I let him ding 36 thinking perhaps it has to hit the area's level cap before moving to the next region, I was wrong! lol

I deleted honourbuddy, installed fresh and tried again, Same thing.
It just doesn't do anything unless it's back in Stranglethorn Vale...

I went through kick's FAQs section, came across this, followed the instruction aaaand still nothing!!!! *pullshair* lol

I'm attaching my latest log, if any one of you professionals could please take a look at it & post your opinion here,

Tried again, restarted the bot @ Western Plaguelands right next to the Chillwinds flight trainer after a couple of minutes it took a flight straight back to Stranglethorn Vale, moving to pick up a quest which doesn't exist, so he just kept following a NPC one step at a time trying to "pickup quest",

Hi, Extreme_kid, and thank you for the description and the log!

The next profile pack checkpoints are at 37 and 40. You are trying to move to another zone before the profile is ready to go.

We greatly admire your initiative in locating the information for yourself. However, you may have overlooked the explanation of how checkpoints work in this article:

Since the "Classic" pack is written monolithicly (instead of a "profile per zone"), your only recourse is the checkpoint mechanisms. And, the next checkpoint won't occur until level 37.

It appears the problem is with your Combat Routine. Go back to Singular when you want to quest. Many of the third-party combat routines are written to excel in PvP; however, the frequently fail like this in PvE environments. Singular was written to excel in PvE and addresses these thousands of little boundary conditions that others miss.

Honorbuddy is trying to target a tiger in a locked cage, and cannot figure out a path.

We've already accommodated this problem in v3465 of the profile pack, but that update is still awaiting approval before it can be placed in the Buddy Store.

Hi, Mr_Pibb,

The checkpoints were removed due to problems with certain quest chains or reputation requirements that crossed those boundaries. For instance, to pick up certain quests in Telaar (Nagrand) requires having a certain faction reputation with Orebar Harborage (Zangermarsh).

Blizz keeps "buffing" experience in lower zones. They do it each expansion. They add Guild Perk experience bonuses. They add Heirloom gear. They add RaF bonuses.

We simply don't have the manpower to go back and re-flow the profile each time Blizz buffs the experience in lower-level zones. Its going to happen again at the WoD drop, and no, we won't go back and flow the lower-level zones for the experience buff.

Also, not everyone has access to all the offered experience bonuses.

We've got machinery in place to do the rough transitions, but minimizing the time to level is not one of the stated goals of this profile pack.

Okay, i clicked on the "how to obtain kicks 1-90" all it shows is how to access them through the buddy store - how do i get hard copies so i can disable auto jump(to next zone at level XX)? or is that not available anymore? If these are saved to my computer, which folder? just looked at every one.

Hi, Snow686,

We don't understand the question. When it launches, Honorbuddy will automatically pull any updates that are available from the Buddy Store. You have absolutely nothing to do in this regard, now.

The amount of time it takes Honorbuddy to do this, depends on how many other products you are streaming, how large those products are, and the bandwidth of your internet connection. You can find more information about all that here:

For "Its Goat Time, Baby", Honorbuddy is apparently confused about the distance at which the weapon can be used. In v3468, we have given a hint to Honorbuddy to overcome this problem.

Alas, even though the pack is updated, it will need to wait for approval before the repair is available from the Buddy Store. As such, you will need to work around the problem by doing the quest manually.

And when will that be?
 
last week i could stop and start bot (kick profile) and it would change zone to a higher level to quest

Now im leveling a hunter and he wants to stay in feralas -.-
 
Obviously the buddy store thing is not working out. It degrades quality of product by holding up updates. HB is doomed if this becomes common.
When will this update be approved? Bossland should rectify this at once. The problem could have been resolved in the time it took me to type this message.
