Hi, Ply0y007, and thanks for the log.

You are getting a GreyMagic error that is causing the problem. GreyMagic error is another program that is interfering with Honorbuddy operation. We'd suggest trying to resolve the problem in this order:

Each time it goes to collect or place a work order it just enters into a never ending loop of trying to repeat the current task.

wanted to tell yall this is excellent! one problem I have is that it tries and picks things up twice.
 
When I start up GarrisonBuddy, it either disconnects me, or does nothing at all. Log attached, let me know if you need more/different info.

Do I have to wait until a new HB Version is released or is there a quicker solution?
 
Hi there,

I'm getting an issues that's been reported before, I think it's currently assigned to HB-2312. It refuses to buy at the trading post, claiming it doesn't have enough currency (it does), and just sits there endlessly.

I've searched the forums and can find no furhter reference to this bug though, and just wanted to check it was still "unfixed" and on the radar, or if anyone know a work around (does anyone have the trading post functions working?)

workaround is set min currency to buy too 10001 resources in xml file.....thats what i did anyway.
 
Same here either stuck at npc/vendor. or trying to post one million work orders at random work order npc
 
Same here, GarrisonBuddy used to work flawlessly before the bans, now it works but I have to "stop" then "start" it like 5-6 times per run, which takes away the whole reason for using a garrison bot. It wants to make work orders 1000 times at mine, herb, etc. Then I "stop" it and "start" it and it runs fine until work orders have to be put through again. It used to work great, what happened???
 
This has already been addressed in previous posts, so the Devs are aware of it. Patience young Padawan!! :)
 
Ok, thank you for letting me know, sorry I didn't want to have to read through 19 pages to figure out what was current! LOL :) Glad it's being addressed, just wanted to make sure that it wasn't just me! Thanks again

(its just one of the random problems.. sometimes it just spam work orders too. and sometimes it just hugs the tree behind fp)

Edit: Work order spam when i got it to stop vendoring

2nd Edit: Disabled mines work order then it ran to herb garden stuck pickin up cage did it once and looted then it just stand trying looting it again.

Same problem(s) for me too unfortunately. Seems to want to endlessly start work orders. Also does not go mining until I manually stop then start HB....same for picking herbs in the garden. I did try this with a few toons and always the same thing happens.

Hi, Nociceptor,

That problem has not been repaired yet. The only solution is to wait for it get repaired, then wait for the next Honorbuddy drop that ships the repair.

Hi, all,

Post #2 in this thread is the list of open issues for GarrisonBuddy. Indeed, HB-2312 is still open.

Also, you shouldn't bother to report a problem in this thread, unless you've a full log you're willing to attach. 'Reports' without logs are just noise as the information is unactionable.

Please keep in mind there are huge change to GarrisonBuddy between the .788 and .789 drop of Honorbuddy. We expect this to continue for a few more iterations. Apoc is refactoring the bot heavily, and extending it to handle shipyards and other such changes. There have even been significant changes to the way the settings files are stored between the releases. As such, its important to know *exactly* the state your problem existed within, and only the full log can tell us this.

Hi, Halluz, and many thanks for the log.

Against this issue, we've opened:
HB-2495: GarrisonBuddy: "MoveWithin Failed" on startup​

If you are able to obtain a log where you are being disconnected, we'll write that one up separately. As a guess, some circumstances are causing GarrisonBuddy to hammer the WoWserver, and that's causing a disconnect. However, we'd need a full log to confirm that kind f issue.
