That said, unlike most others here, rather than bleating about it, I'm trying to help out.

Be polite to the devs, give them what they ask for and they will reciprocate. Or some kind-hearted member of the community will.
Be a troll and they will ignore you. Plus they might miss a useful post that will help resolve the problems in the middle of your pages of drivel.
Even in non-Bossland companies people will quit if subjected to too much abuse. We don't want that to happen.

It would be nice if Highvoltz gave us some updates as to what's going on. I know he's been busy with ProfessionBuddy but he's been conspicuously absent from this thread for quite a while now.

That's the baffling part to me. DungeonBuddy is very popular and it gets seemingly NO attention. Idk what the problem is, whether it's understaffing or simply not caring enough to keep their product as flawless as possible, but it's a problem nonetheless. I believe in this product and while it's mostly functional, in an AFK situation, there's much to be desired. I wish they would dedicate more resources to DB to get it up-to-speed with the bugs, scripts, etc.; however, I won't hold my breath and don't realistically expect to see anything real in terms of a resolution until 2014 "at some point."

If someone familiar with how the script files are written would like to write a guide so the community can contribute in the face of the lack of support, I would really enjoy giving back; as mentioned before, the benefit would be mutual since I run DB daily if I can already.

A DB programming guide is something I've got on the backburner at the moment. I'm working in a very script kiddie manner for now trying to interpret how the scripts fit together and I've got a copy of a very, very old version of DB from before it was rolled into HB to see some of the code.

Really though, the only person who could do this properly would be Highvoltz. And like I've said before, I think he is focussing on ProfessionBuddy for the moment. And we want scripts for the remainder of SoO. And then WoD will be out so we will want updates for that content. I think the only time he could get to work on a guide is during some of the expected HB downtime when WoD comes out.

I'm not sure on that one. I think there's actually a problem with rogues in general. I've noticed recently both Singular and Tuanha's intermittently stop following the tank. I can't find any reason in my logs for it and it's never in the same locations. Moving back into combat seems to resolve the issue for a short while.
That said, I haven't yet had a problem with the AoA scenario. This would suggest a local error rather than a problem with the botbase or script.

I have noticed that in your log you are using HB .704 and have a few memory exceptions cropping up. Try the latest release and download a fresh copy of Singular. I think bobby53 has a more recent version than the included one.
If that doesn't work, try deleting your WoW cache files.

This doesn't just happen on my rogue. It happens on a all characters.

Try turning the Combat Movement option in the botbase to False. If that doesn't work, try making it True and disabling movement in Singular (or other combat routine).

Totally understand, but that goes back to my point about being understaffed. If Highvoltz is responsible for several bot bases among other things and is getting little to no help, he needs an assistant or something similar at the very least. Some issues have been unresolved for months and that speaks volumes about where priorities lie, IMO. Since DB is rolled in with HB, it's a part of the product people pay for; therefore, it should be fairly high up on priority if there are issues that may lead to risking player accounts (attacking mobs dungeon groups skip, an inability to avoid mobs during a runback, etc.). It's a phenomenal concept and product, but there are things that needed to be resolved months ago. I'm here to provide support (however limited that may be), but as a paying customer, I'm simply looking for the safest and most reliable product. HB is where I've experienced that the most and want to continue to see it be the best option in the market.

Also keeps dying alot.

DungeonBuddy worked amazing with ToT, however when I try it with SoO it does nothing and gives me the error;

Y2krazy, I think the worst thing that ever happened with this botbase was that it was rolled into HB. When it was a public offering, the community looked through the code and scripts and made alterations like they do with others.
Now it's part of the paid-for product they expect it to be perfect. Nobody puts in any effort anymore.

Anax, only the first wing of SoO is scripted. None of the others are done yet.

This is bonkers, I've been botting for a bit of time and hadn't tried this until today. Just doing random heroics and its amazing.... People are complaining about wings not being done, but the bot is literally doing everything for you? Man HB keeps impressing me more and more.

Duengon buddy in mixed mode dosn't seem to work. I have Gatherbuddy running with dungeon buddy but when I get into a dungeon in mixed mode its like it acts like its the tank or solo.. he pretty much just runs past the group and pulls w/e he wants regardless of combat happening.

I have to stop the bot as soon as I enter the instance then start it agian or it kills everyone. Anyone have any help for this?

Glad it's working for you better than you hoped! We're not complaining about the merits of the bot base or what it DOES do right. Some things have gone by for months without being resolved, scripted, etc. It's definitely a badass feature of the bot, don't get us wrong. We're just miffed about the things still left unresolved is all. Overall, it's an awesome bot base to run, but just be aware it's not 100% afk and has a few bugs.

I have 5 HB accounts and 5 WoW Accounts and 2 of them are level 90 now.
I would like to ask if its possible to set up dungeonbuddy to do level 85 dungeons heroic runs with just two toons (a mage & a priest) and if yes, how or where do i learn how to do it? I know I would have to move them there my self, but my problem is that when I group the up togeather, move then to the dungeon (Like "End times") and click start, none of the toons moves. If I engange in combat manually, the other toon will come and fight, but otherwise nothings happends. How do i fix this?

Unfortunately I do not have logs (and am not sure these problems would show up anyway), but I have issues with two Cataclysm dungeons (been RAFing).

In Halls of Origination, once it is done, it does not take the elevator back down to exit the instance.

In Lost City of the Tol'vir, it does not jump down from Siamat's platform to exit the instance.

If there is some reason these issues cannot be fixed, I will understand - I certainly have no other issues! I do hope something can be done, though, and would appreciate it immensely.

Have you tried using Dungeonbuddy on your "leader" and then something like FPSWares LazyBoxer in "Combathelper" mode on your helper?

I think the problem is that there isen't a tank-class in the grup (its only a priest and mage) and Dungeonbuddy don't accept the priest as a tank, and as such the other toon wohnt follow it or and the "tank" will not tank?

Nah, I think that covers it. I'll just sit back and watch those non-existant fixes and efforts I and others have put in over the past few months be completely ignored.

It's not like an effort wasn't made in doing the Coren Direbrew and Headless Horseman events...oh wait, that was me!
It's not like the nav issues for Mogu'shan Palace wasn't resolved...oh wait, that was evilWizard! (I think, apologies if it wasn't)
It's not like the problem with combat with Master Snowdrift hasn't been fixed...oh, me again!

Either help the community or shut up. Some in the community still give an effort. If you want to go troll, go and hang out in the MMO-Champion forums.

With all the abuse Highvoltz gets in this thread, I'm not surprised he leaves for long periods.

Might I call people attention to the parts in red here - this is taken from the very first post.

DungeonBuddy is a bot that is currently being developed and once it's done it will be able to do random dungeons and farm low level dungeons solo. The current plan is to only support 5 man dungeons for the moment and maybe low level raids when in solo farming mode but later on support for raids might be added(no promises yet). Loot rolls are done by AutoEquip2.
