HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

Bugreport:
Where: Temple of the JAde serpent
What happens: Just before the encounter Liu Flameheart the bot is trying to clear the large square room. Because the mobs are fighting NPCs the bot does not pull the last stack of mobs and thus it just stands in the middle of the room indefinitely.

FIX: Make the bot clear the room by targeting mobs.
 
The major problem with Dungeonbuddy is the fact that the community cannot do anything to improve the bot. Without the community there would be 3 plugins, there would be 4 botbases, there would be Kicks 1-90 and some generic gathering problems. The fact is that the community has built this company to what it is atm. Thus I beg of you, release a good tutorial and explain how dungeonbuddy works so that the community can give the botbase what it deserves. Awesome profiles for all the dungeons, raids and scenarios. Because we really want to but atm it is too hard to code profiles for it.

I just this week were able to get a profile working by script kiddy working on four different profiles highvoltz wrote. But it's tedious work and seldom reaches new heights.
 
Running 5 man DB, it does not seem to grab the quests they just run past the quests at the start. I have it set to do quests. I know I have seen my single account grab them not sure if it cant handle all the accounts grabbing them?
 
Try looking for an AddOn that auto-accepts quests. I haven't tried one since I just set quests to false since I afk DB and don't want the hassle of coming back to dozens of vote kicks if it afk's at the quest giver.

Had this few times too, happens not every time. Well, I hope Highvoltz will find some time to give DB some love. Or maybe he can assign someone to fix the biggest issues. Voting for Shortround :D
 
Its Strange, that nobody are making new profiles for 5.4 raid, whit now is the best option for gear up alters, get easy items in Isle and after LFR for more equip...but only in first wing

I believe highvoltz is off doing other things right now. Wing 2 has been out for 2 months now, correct? I don't understand why it's still not done, but for whatever reason, wings 2, 3 and 4 are not supported. If I knew how to code them, I'd have already released scripts for them myself. Just use LazyRaider or Tyrael for now and do them semi-afk (controlling movement only). I'd expect a release in 2014 or not at all since they may be irrelevant in the next expansion.
 
well the quests seem to work at random, just did a scholmance run and none of the 5 even talked to quest givers to auto accept the quests, I have tried setting quests to both true and false on all accounts.

Never run scholomance because the bot cant find its way back to the entrance if you die

It's because they really don't give a crap (at least in theory). You should see some of the responses from the people I paid to use this program gave to me. It is really arrogant. I'm hoping that they see the light and hire more people or allow more custom development.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they don't care at all, but I would say that their priorities are definitely not in the right place. Instead of developing new products, they should be fixing the ones that have had problems for several months, even some that have been occurring for half a year or more. If I knew how to write/modify script files, I'd gladly donate my time to resolve the issues DB scripts have. But something like dungeon quests... that's the bot base itself and an issue that's been going on for the better part of 6 months. If something can't be fixed in 6 months, it would appear to be a matter of mismanagement of resources. Just my two cents.

Love the product when it works, but these issues seem to be a plague that just won't get the shot of penicillin it needs.

Actually that's a better assessment, but based on some responses from the devs themselves, I still think they don't care. I mean, Dungeonbuddy seems to be very popular and they have this nonchalant attitude about it. It's baffling.
 
So I have 5 HB accounts and 5 WoW Accounts and 2 of them are level 90 now.
I would like to ask if its possible to set up dungeonbuddy to do level 85 dungeons heroic runs with just two toons (a mage & a priest) and if yes, how or where do i learn how to do it?

I dont mean if its possible to sign up for level 85 dungeons, i know I would have to move them there manually ^^
 
DungeonBuddy does not attack in Scenario's!

As title states.

DungeonBuddy does not attack during scenarios. For example in Arena of Annihilation, it will run to do the gong and activate each phase. But will not attack the bosses. So people just remove me from the group and then penalised to wait 30 mins.

I am not the only one to have this issue and this problem has cropped up numerous of times, What exactly is the solution?

No errors come up, it literally just sits at the gong. I have reinstalled the bot multiple times and have used Singular and other profiles. All lead to the same issue.

I'm not sure on that one. I think there's actually a problem with rogues in general. I've noticed recently both Singular and Tuanha's intermittently stop following the tank. I can't find any reason in my logs for it and it's never in the same locations. Moving back into combat seems to resolve the issue for a short while.
That said, I haven't yet had a problem with the AoA scenario. This would suggest a local error rather than a problem with the botbase or script.

I have noticed that in your log you are using HB .704 and have a few memory exceptions cropping up. Try the latest release and download a fresh copy of Singular. I think bobby53 has a more recent version than the included one.
If that doesn't work, try deleting your WoW cache files.

It would be nice if Highvoltz gave us some updates as to what's going on. I know he's been busy with ProfessionBuddy but he's been conspicuously absent from this thread for quite a while now.
(Note: I am a bit of a hypocrite here, I've given no updates on my AutoEquip mod thread for a while either. Better give a brief update on that one.)

All PAYING customers want is to know when the product they paid for will work. The lack of updates here shows that HB was designed by some very smart people who have zero knowledge of how to properly run a business. I barely use it anymore.
