HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

some times bot can not leave dungeon after it finished( so maybe any advices how to fix it?
bot spaming smth like I ll leave this dungeon in 10...5.. sec and repeat it over and over
 
Still wiping on Stratholme - Service Entrance. The tank insists on rushing in to the slaughterhouse courtyard and pulling every mob while the rest of my toons are still engaged in combat outside. Magistrate Barthilas should be killed before entering the slaughterhouse. The tank also needs to pull the slaughterhouse mobs in smaller groups.
 
Does the bot re-enter the instance for anyone after a wipe? Right now, my bot doesn't enter at all and I would think this problem would be reported more as it makes afking dungeonbuddy impossible.
 
Only LFR scripts without tanking support are planned though nothing prevents user contributed scripts for regular raids.
I'll have to adjust how following works in raids. Atm it follows the raid rather than a tank like it does in in 5 mans

Ok thanks HighVoltz, I tried this week end and it didn't works (no script for lfg dungeon 1008)
I tried also LazyRaiders in follow tank mode, the toons follow me but in combat, they don't move and stay in AOE...
So I think I'll try with 8 toons with ISBoxer (Tank&DPS) and 2 toons with HB (Healers).
But in wonderfull world, new MOP RAID scripts/profiles for DungeonBuddy will be perfect !
--> I would pay for that ;)
 
Tried this with my Elemental Shaman on Utgarge Keep, had some issues;

1) Would not select the 'Enter Dungeon' button when queued
2) Would not roll on loot (Roll on Loot is set to True in Auto-Equip 2)

Besides these 2 items, everything seems to be working good.

works really well, but sometimes it stops follow tank, and that results in tank dying since im the healer? will try to get a log when i can.

I haven't gotten my 5 man group back in yet. RL and various patches have blown last two weeks of my play time.

I play with 2 teams of 5 mans in heroic MOP dungeons since one month and DB works very well for me, about 95% afk.
I play my tank when I have time, or when script is not optimized for 2 boss only (Mari in the temple (Tank turn around in loop instead of engaging boss) and general Pa'Valak with shield (Tank taunt mobs outside the shield instead of inside)
Else all other random dungeons are fully AFK with i440 team (full PvP 450 gear)

For fully AFK, just use DB for all of your 5 toons, with leader mode on tank (input your 4 other toons) and followers on your other toons (input your tank as leader)
When you want to control your tank, just use "combat bot" on it with singular and edit CC and check "none" on movements.
You'll have fully 4000 Justice and 1000 valiance in 6 or 7 hours and 460/470 ilevel

It works fine also for leveling 15-90 random dungeon with 5 toons (especially with full heirloom stuff on each toons)

Sometimes pickup quest failed (tank go to mobs and one or 2 toons wait for pickup quest...) so I uncheck it.

^agreed with this assessment.

Xp is slow and steady. Heirlooms and raf help make up the difference from questing profiles...also guild 25, rested xp always, battle standard plug-in, any xp bonus consumables (adventurers journal -cata level)...but you probably already know that stuff.

The group gets geared well through all levels,and the instances are pretty safe to level. One suggestion I mention all the time...if u aren't on farm instances option - and maybe even then --queue somewhere low pop next to nearby food and repair. The bot will port out for those tasks, this is where it can get spotted if it has far to travel (where you queue up @). Dwarven inn keeper @ stormwind is dangerous - was a tendency to wall hump near a water tower for some reason. Hope this makes sense.

Yes, you're right, I set hearth in the old town inner, there is nobody there on my server.

Last thing, autoequip2 doesn't works very well, it always use cupidity for all toons, never need, so I must stop all bots and dispatch myself heroic items on good toons every 2 hours. (only with fresh 90 UP toons)

I also clean HB directory before running: (in .CMD file)
del /F /Q D:\Honorbuddy\Cache\*.*
del /F /Q D:\Honorbuddy\CompiledAssemblies\*.*
del /F /Q D:\Honorbuddy\Logs\*.*

I'm guessing this bot is more or less designed with the intent to be ran in 5 mans?

Absolutely horrible pathing and healer is always like 30 feet away from tank even though I set it to follow it at 5.

Every time people try to skip mobs bot just runs right by and pulls it any way.

Healer never follows tank; it's like it has a pre designated "spot" to stay at even if the tank pulls boss off in a corner.

Mind if I ask details on the setup you run? One Ip? Several NICs? Are the BNets all in your name? How long have u been running this many?

When I started this hobby I was paranoid. I have a laptop that does 3 bots on 3 VMs (unique nets & NIC). Then I run a tower 1 VM and 1 regular bot (unique nets and NICs here as well). Different names on my BNets. Gamecard time for all - no credit card or PayPal to link them.

I have a netbook and one other tower I throw into the hardware mix occasionally.

My setup is complicated in order to appear as separate and individual as possible - but it's time consuming. Your set up is really attractive to me!
 
Got a sugestion: How about Dungeonbuddy having an option to reset the dungeon?
There are dungeons found via random, where i can't defeat certain bosses (with the Bot), what ever the reason.
If i could tell the bot to reset the dungeon after a certain amount of tries, or at least trigger it manually, it would be really helpful for leveling fast - especially in times i need to control the bot remotly.
Triggering it manually would help also with problems in the dungeonsripts, where the bot just stops doing anything. This way the dungeon could be used at least until stuck and then reset.

If there also is a way, i'd be glad if someone could give me a hint.


Second thing: I once saw an excellent guide to botting 5man RAF with dungeonbuddy (what exactly to configure where) but can't seem to find it any more. Could somebody knowing where it is give me a link? Bot works not as it should and i want to know if it's the Bot, the Script or my own stupidity^^.

I started with dual-box there is 3 years ago at the end of LK, and then trying with 5 boxes in cata (only use ISBoxer, never bot), so I made my own guild there is 3 month ago with 10 toons in MOP (guild ding 25 yesterday :o)), I tried a lot of bot since 1 month, and HB is the better ever !

In 3 years of multiboxing, some people have threatened me to report to blizz saw me questing with 5 toons, but I never received anything from blizz about that, and I always used only 1 big PC (1 IP, 1 Nic and 2 BNet accounts), with no specific configuration.
It's the same with 10 bots, but I'm careful, I do not trade excessively (just 5k/day), I use bots as possible in 5x dungeon (very secure), and I never let bots run more than 2 hours without taking a look on them. (especially in gathering/grind mode)

My PC starting to lag a little bit with using more than 7 or 8 bots at the same time, but it's still quite playable.

I just have a question, why do you use a VM to play bot ?
If Blizz blacklist your public IP, all of your private IP will be BL too, isn't it ?
