HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

I have a small question, it is possible that the DungeonBuddy botbase works in dungeons difficulty myth?
Thank you so much for this amazing work

The instance Culling Of Strathholme does not progress past the second or third wave, the group will mostly stay in on area and attack the trash mobs only. (log coming when I get home).

The instance The Vortex Pinnacle, if I character dies and runs back they get stuck on the Howling Gales constantly running into them instead of attacking in order to get past.

In Schollomance, after killing Lillian Vos and collecting the loot the tank runs up to Lillian again and will try to attack her indefinately.

About 50% of the time a character will release from their corpse instead of clicking the Accept Res button. This appears to happen almost immediately as the healer has finished casting the resurrect spell.

It only seems to happen in vanilla and TBC dungeons. Later ones don't have that problem; dead chars tend to wait for rez until it happens, for me at least.

Also wish that bot would use mass ressurection if it's in a guild, in situations when everyone who can use their own rez is dead, or to take advantage of its much greater spell range.

Is this Botbase still alive? Is Highvoltz still alive? His last post on forums is from October 15. Retired? What will happen to this botbase?

Mists of Panderia
  • All LFRs.
  • All normal and heroic 5 man dungeons.
  • All normal and heroic 3 man scenarios.

I don't seem to find the MoP LFR scripts, they use to be in Default Profiles/DungeonBuddy/Mist of Pandaria/Raids/ if I remember right. Is there anyone who still own them and could please PM me them ?

They removed MoP LFR scripts basically because it would take too much time to fix so they removed it.

This has been asked a lot and most of the information regarding DB is that it is being set aside for other things. With the lack of support from the Dev team on DB and not having proper LFR scripts in place in a timely manor, the botbase itself will probably be replaced come legion. With HFC not being available for DB at all and no plans for it in the future, we mostly have to rely on someone else to come up with a new botbase for handling raids/dungeons moving forward.

highly doubt it will get phased out as it extremely easy to script in after you isolate the active element ids. I was working on the hfc but my expendable accounts got frozen. my new set is almost geared to be able to resume work on it.

EDIT:
Additionally, Yes i'm sure they'd love to go back though like 202(Yes there are currently 202 supported instances by Dungeonbuddy) dungeons/raids worth of scripting work to create a botbase as detailed as this one is. Even if "some" are on Legion what if you start a new account and need Dungeon Support to make leveling alot quicker?

202 would not need a rerun. only current and future.

If your level 15 that dungeon IS Current for you right then and there. You think of current as if every toon you play starts on the CAP level and it doens't. You may get 1 Toon boost but when you start a new toon then you need whats current to that toon per its level.

Timewalking Support

After some fidgeting around, I managed to get full support for Timewalkers dungeons implemented including Random Timewalker Dungeon.

Features:

  • Recycles DungeonBuddy scripts for WOTLK, and BC where available.
  • Dummy CS files for dungeons that wouldn't show in the list (The Arctraz, The Opening of the Dark Portal)
  • Addition of CS files to enable the random queue selection properly. (it was brought to my attention it would queue for specific dungeons if only the dungeon profiles were in place, bypassing the random option in the blizz ui which I felt could be dangerous, so figured out a way to make it choose the appropriate random id, and not queue by specific timewalker dungeon).

This has only been tested to work with Warlords of Draenor opened. Please let me know if it shows up for all other levels appropriate to do Timewalking (BC is 70+, LK, is 80+).

WARNING: Even though the individual dungeons show up under "Unknown", I strongly recommend that you do not queue for the dungeons this way. The Timewalking dungeons have different id's than the normal versions, which means by queuing for these specifically, you are bypassing the built-in queuing system. Since there is no interface to queue for these dungeons specifically, I believe that this can be detected fairly easily. (@highvoltz - If you could modify the DB core to block queuing for these specifically, that would be great.)

Revised: 2015-10-24
Rolled in the Arcatraz and Opening of the Dark Portal fixes for Timewalking. These still are not in top shape, but without access to modify the core for DungeonBuddy, I am not sure how much more these could be improved.

Revised: 2015-11-18
Added in Timewalking support for the following new dungeons added in patch 6.2.3
  • End Time
  • Grim Batol
  • Lost City of Tol'Vir
  • Stonecore
  • The Vortex Pinnacle
  • Throne of Tides
  • Magister's Terrace
  • Pit of Saron

Revised: 2015-11-18 - fix
Corrected the ID for Timewalking Cataclysm so it now shows up in the DungeonBuddy drop-down.

Revised: 2015-11-19 - fix
Corrected step order for :
  • Grim Batol
  • Throne of Tides

Profile Patch [Not Timewalking]

Additionally, I am patching profiles to keep them current as the dungeon objective order cycles with your valued feedback. You are able to determine if this is the case for you, if you find that DungeonBuddy suddenly exits with a 'completed' message in HonorBuddy, yet you haven't actually completed the dungeon. When you make the report on these dungeons, please put the exact order the Dungeon Objectives appear as, and which dungeon it was, and if you can, specify if it applies to the Heroic version, Normal version, Timewalking version or any combination of these.

To keep this thread short, I will minimize on the patch notes. I will consider adding a full patch notes 'txt' file inside the zip if there is enough demand for it. For now, I will simply use the date on which the patch was released, and will be inclusive of all previous patches so you should be able to simply overwrite. I will take care to only make the minimal adjustment necessary for it to work, as this is still HighVoltz's baby and I don't want to step on his toes where possible.

Instructions

Extract the contents of the zip file into the root of your HonorBuddy folder. The zip file contains two folders in the current layout of where DungeonBuddy stuff is located based off the root folder since this requires placement of new files in both "DefaultProfiles\DungeonBuddy" and "DungeonScripts" folders.

This kind of needs its own thread, its just that awesome, and thanks for all the hard work you devs put into dungeonbuddy, I appreciate it and could not have got my WoTLK time walking token mount without your time walking scripts, I was not about to sit and farm 5k time walking tokens rofl.

Yea, I kind of miss Hackersrage as I don't see much if any of him around here anymore.

MoP Quickfix:
Before finishing the Dungeon you may see this message: [DungeonBuddy]: Dungeon is considered complete in 10 seconds. Reason: Completed
It may also simply attempt to kill them in a order that is not proper causing navigation errors and other issues.

Apparently 5 of the MoP Heroic Dungeons got Objective cycled. This will fix the issue. Going to cycle through the rest of them now as apparently from the post above a few of them in other segments also got cycled.

Dungeons Fixed by this ZIP are:
Scholomance Heroic
Shado-Pan Monastery Heroic
Siege of Niuzao Temple Heroic
Stormstout Brewery Heroic
Temple of the Jade Serpent Heroic

The bot think the dungeon is completed when there is still couple of bosses left to kill, it happens with a lot of dungeons in MoP HC but using the fix posted earlier fixed most of them, how would I manage to fix this myself?
