HB ARCHIVES: DungeonBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

Anybody know how to make my bots leave Dungeon after first boss in Gate of the Second sun? I have no idea how to code :)

My bots keep getting stuck because of farclip issue (Flying in the air) and my PC isn't strong enough to run the view distance higher than low, so my solution is make them leave before they get stuck! if anyone can help?

Hi, Eraihm, and thanks for the log.

This looks like a log from a Druid healer. We spent about 45 mins digging through your log, and could find nothing that resembled "stood idle for a couple minutes". The only time we see the toon leave the dungeons is when its complete (minus one vendor run).

In short, the log doesn't show us a problem we can see. As such, we don't have anything we can write up as bug report.

But, something you can try...
disable all Combat Routines being streamed from the Buddy Store, and see if that will make your problem go away. It is possible for Combat Routines that are nt currently in use to interfere with proper Honrobuddy operation, if they've a bug in them.

The next time you see this happen, please stop the bot after it has idled for two minutes or so. And explicitly call out the timestamp of where the problem started.

Error/Problem:

5 bot team running DungeonBuddy MoP heroics, when they get to Gate of the Setting Sun dungeon they can't progress after they kill the first boss.
Stuck in the air/flying and sit there for hours AFK.


I think it's because my View Distance (Farclip) is set to low and I've noticed changing it to Fair fixes this bug, but then my CPU is at 100% is there another way around this? maybe edit of the Dungeonbuddy script I can do to leave this dungeon or after first boss.

Hi again, Cameronmc88, and thanks for the log.

At the moment, we don't believe this problem is related to a clipping plane issue. You are referencing HB-1360 which has already been repaired and affected the last boss in Gate of the Setting Sun, but not the first one. Also, the log clearly shows your FPS at 28, which is almost double of what is needed for solid operation.

As such, we've opened HB-1928 ("Gate of the Setting Sun: Stalling after killing first boss") against this issue.

We've not experienced this issue in running Gate of the Setting Sun, ourselves. This makes it likely there is something peculiar with your installation causing the problem. You might start by disabling all non-Honorbuddy-shipped plugins, and see if that makes the problem go away. If not, a second pass would disable the streaming of all Buddy Store products to eliminate them as a possible cause.

If it is a Buddy Store product causing the problem, please tell us which one. We'd like to work with the author to eliminate the issue.

Tried again with fresh installation and all HB plugins/botbases etc. disabled via stream and still having the issue. I switch the in-game graphic setting "View Distance" under environment from Low to Fair and the problem is fixed..
But again it's hogging my CPU, my question was is there anyway I can make the dungeonbuddy group leave after first boss by editing the .CS file?

Didn't upload a log, because going through myself it says the exact same last few lines as previous log :)

This may be a very weird question but i left WoW for some time.
Does Dungeonbuddy support WOD-LFR?

Because when i try to let Dungeonbuddy queue for the raids i get the following notification:
Bot stopping! Reason: You have completed all of the selected LFRs for this week

And i havent finished a single raid yet... :p I hope my log helps

WOD LFR are not scripted yet, check first page for further info on ETA and estimated release.
 
Anything we can do to help along the WoD LFR scripts? It's largely the reason I use HB, and it seems that with the expac, HB has made a dramatic shift to the community devs only working on paid botbases and scripts. For those of us not making money on wow, and just using the bot for assistance, paid services are of little use. I know the community devs probably have lost a lot of their feedback and bug testing with this new system, and would love to help in any way I can. Thanks.

I have run it half a dozen times or so now. Works very well. Also crown Chemical dungeon works amazingly well! (It does very very well on boss mechanics! I think if you have a really good computer it will avoid the fire on twins almost always) I have a bad laptop nowadays and it gets hit maybe 2-4 stacks which isnt bad and sometimes not at all.


Places to pay attention. The initial run into the first lfr where it has to get in the elevator usually misses and it teleports up. Sometimes a little wierd but not too bad.

When it has to jump down to butcher it gets a little sketchy, but will eventually make it way over the cliff.

After you kill first boss in part two on the way to the portal before twins, it will do weird stuff at that sharp left turn.

otherwise its 95% afkable and i rarely die on imperator or twins!!!! believe it or not lol. The toons I ran were not geared whatsoever barely made the ilvl cutoff.

edit: also if you are a healer it does run continuous healing mode thankfully but that can be problematic after trash has died and your trying to move with the group to the next pull. it will constantly heal (stop go stop go type movement) on occasion before it can get mounted...if people are standing around and not moving as a group... once again prolly completely unnoticeable to the untrained eye but is something to keep in mind,

So has something been added that causes my Focus augments to be used? I cannot seem to find it in any CR, nor have I had the issue before trying the new beta with LFR.

I cannot seem to find an option to turn it off.
 
Im runing buddy in mixed mode (questing and dungeon mode) Dungeon bot always trys to hearth back to town while quest bot trys to run quest. Is there a way to turn of the hearth function from dungeon mode?

Turn off [Hearth on Vendor Run] => under Misc.
