I don't understand how to get this working... I click on it and it says "a refferal was returned from the server"

though I have no clue what I'm doing with installing this

Everyone who gets a error once double clicking the .exe do EXACTLY this:

1. Rightclick on the exe and click on PROPERTIES.
2. click on the tab COMPATIBILITY
3. tick the first box that says RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR and choose WINDOWS XP (Servicepack2)
4. tick the last box that says RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
5. click ok and double click the .exe

No problem guys ^^

When i start the relogger, first it open diablo, then it open DB, then log into DB, but in this way DB got bugged.
I am using profiles which have only one xml file like Act3 Speedrun Profil (high archon upptime) . The updated version dont work for me. With the old version i was able to use the relogger.
I need to be logged in diablo account and then open DB. I also can't start the bot by hand when i am not logged in my diablo 3 account and not just at the logging screen
The fix is easy: Have to log in diablo account first and then start DB, but i dont know how to make the relogger do it.

WHen i open up Arelog and press stat ( all info is filled out correctly). The WpW window pops up, then dissapears moments later, and then the bot sits and does nothing. Any idea whats going on>?

trying to do the same thing as corran a couple pages back, but with an extra step...here's what i want to do
task 1:
run profile 1 until its done (Time 0)
run this for x time (works fine)
run this for y time (works fine)
start the next task (diff hb.exe)

you can do this but not in the same schedule.
Add a new account to ARelog with the same credentials, then set that second one up to idle for as long as the first one runs, then run whatever task you want from a different HB installation. Doing this, you check those 2 installations in ARelog and click start all. ezpz.

to clarify,

hb installation 1 - set to do tasks you listed
hb installation 2 - set to idle for the length of tasks in installation 1, then doing installation 2 tasks.

No idea, this never happened before, even google and the search didnt find a single post.

did you right click it, select properties, go to the compatibility tab, select ALWAyS start as admin.

Or did you right click it and clicked start as admin?

Solution for "A referral was returned from the server." error on Vista/Win 7

Right click on ARelog.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility tab -> Enable "Run this program as an administrator" -> Ok

Now run ARelog.exe it will work without changing UAC settings

After a fresh w7 install i lost my hope to get this work and now.. IT WORKS PERFECT!!

(for all those with referall error.. go properties and run with administrator.. (Not right click and admin))

i was having the referal error fixed itself after running as administrator

First Task:

BotName - BGBuddy
RunTime - 180

Second Task:

BotName - (Leave Empty or type Idle)
RunTime - 30



Right-click to ARelog.exe get in properties. In Compability tab tick Run as administrator. Click apply then ok.

Starting as admin may not be enough. As mentioned in 2nd post of this thread, right click to ARelog.exe -> Properties -> Compabilitity -> Tick Run as Administrator -> Apply -> OK.

Follow that and let me know the result

Right click the arelog.exe, click properties, select always start as admin.

Note: it is NOT the same as right clicking it and start as admin!

edit: Running it as admin via right-click didn't work, but enabling admin in properities did

For windows 7 Users after taking the latest updates.

Right click on the Arelog.exe, go to the compatability tab, Check the box that says, "Run this program in compatability mode for" and select Windows Xp Service Pack 3, Then same tab, where it says Privilage Level, select Administrator.

This should do it for you.

Even easier:

right click-properties-compatability tab-always run as admin.

No need for Win XP or anything.

But if people would actually read this Thread, no one would ask this question, because its answered already a hundred times...

Okay guy's this is what I've done too resolve the mysterious "a referral was returned on this server" error.

1. Right click ARelog
2. Click Properties
3. Navigate too the 'Compatability' tab
4. Under the 'Compatability' heading check the tix box 'Run this program in compatability mode for..' and in the drop down menu select 'Windows XP (Service Pack 3)'
5. Under the 'Privilege Level' heading check the tick box 'Run this program as an administrator'
6. Press 'Apply'
7. Run & Profit..

Let me know if this solves the issue you're all having, I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

Your wow is in 64bit or dx11 when you start it, this is why.

For the people that still get the error even when they run it as admin. I learned that going into properties and checking run as admin was completely different then just right clicking run as admin. So try that before you say running as admin doesn't work.

Plain Rightclick -> "run as admin" does *N*O*T* work!

Me and my friends seem to get an error when starting the program. I have a quick fix, if you cant open it.

Right click -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run as [Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2] - Run As Administrator(Checked) -> Now start the program and it should work !

Yes, there is even a guide in the guide section. It's easy to set up and maintain.
