HB ARCHIVES: ArchaeologyBuddy--DO NOT DELETE

If you are reporting a problem with a digsite, we must have the full unedited log as an attachment. This is not optional if you expect us to analyze and repair the issue. Correcting archeology problems requires very specific, precise, and complete information from the log.

We regretfully had to archive a number of posts in this thread that attempted to report problems without a log illustrating the problem.

So, I run ArchaeologyBuddy by pressing "Start" and nothing happens. Well, it has buffed me with Arcane Intellect when it run out, just that.

It's running for 45 mins, although I have restarted it several times.

Here is my latest log for details.

Hi, Botterman, and many thanks for the log.

This one's a hum-dinger, and we've no answer for it. So, we've opened HB-1830 ("ArchaeologyBuddy eternally hung loading tiles"). We apologize, but we see no work-around for the problem at the moment.

Have you perchance blacklisted all the available digsites?

ArchaeologyBuddy not working in Draenor

First off, ArcheologyBuddy is awesome!

I am having trouble using it in Draenor. I click start and it begins to list the New sites and it selects one. Then my toon just stands there and it starts that process over again. I even tried to run out to one and start the process and same result. I even did a fresh install with not plugin or anything. Just an HB download and logged in and started it. Had same result.

Hi, Emereck,

We've added your report and log to HB-1831 ("ArchaeologyBuddy eternally hung loading tiles").

Sorry to say we do not currently know what causes this issue, or any work-around for it. We've elevated the bug report priority since there is no known cause or work-around.

We have had some problems with theTramper products. You might try disabling their streaming from the store rather than simply disabling them, and see if this will help. If it does, please let us know.

Archaeologybuddy re-searching for digsites

Hi, I have issues with my Archaeology buddy, since the last update of HB it just spam, search for digsites over and over again. the bot finds the 4 existing one as it shall. but take no action, and redo the search and start over again.
I took the action of reinstall HB in a new file in case of corrupted files but resulted in no changes. so I decided to make this report and have added both logs from the two different bot attempts with the same result.
I hope you guys can help me solve this problem.

If you need further help on how to do this, we suggest you study other ProfessionBuddy profiles that take advantage of this feature.

Thank you for your help, but i can't find profiles with dinamic farm AH. All AH profiles have static price on mats but price varies on different servers and set up a profile suitable for all it is very difficult. I will be very grateful for the help in my problem :)
 
Having issues as well,
Started new install HB, dropped all addon's so a nice clean windows. nada. just sits there and looks at me like I am an idiot.

no it doesn't it just says and then sits there

EDIT: NVM I guess I had an old artifact that needed solving so I manually solved it and it started working.

OK, here is what it does for me.

I start the bot, it find the digsites and off it goes to the wrong area, it gets to an area (not a dig-site) and bottom says "surveying" but does nothing. If I manually move to a dig-site, it will start to work. It will stop after doing about 75% of the area and 'move to another area', stop to survey again and do nothing unless I manually move to a proper digsite
 
When is this getting updated so we can pick what artifacts it searches for out of Draenor Clans, Ogre, and Arakkoa
 
I thought I had it figured out by unchecking Auto solve artifacts, well that worked for a while until "I cannot loot that right now". As soon as I tried to put back on solve or manually hit solve it breaks. So in conclusion the solving thing needs to be fixed on this thing

Hi, Nosskire87, and thank you for those logs.

We've added your information to HB-1831 ("ArchaeologyBuddy eternally hung loading tiles"). We know of no work-around for the problem at the moment. The bug is being tracked on the second post of the Release thread.
