only thing that i noticed so far using archeologybuddy is that it wont attack mobs when attacked and i have on my settings to attack hotspots or whatever any ideas how to fix my issue??

Having problems when being attacked, it's not that it doesn't attack back.

It's that when it's being attacked while running or so the mob gets behind the character and the bot is only spamming the attack buttons and not turning.

Any ideas?

Its a problem in HBcore that has been around for a while. Apoc seems to be looking into the problem. More info here...

Couldn't find any info on this, want to check if mine is working OK.

I've probably had my bot work on archeology for about 15hrs in-game time over a week or two. But I'm only level 185 in archeology?!?!? I would've thought after that amount of time i'd be at least 250 or 300!! I seem to go to the same places over and over to level it, not going to new "higher level?" zones?

Any help would be appreciated! Otherwise the bot works smoothly! (also sometimes get the issue where the bot doesnt attack back)

i have leveled archaeology from 1-525 and level 68 to 78 without a problem using Druid default cc

Lickalime, questing is generally faster but AB is generally more AFKable. I've quested low levels and used AB for upper levels where questing isn't as reliable.

Nightcloud, leveling archeology takes a long time... Blizzard put it in as a time sink... Don't worry about hitting the same low level area repeatedly, you get 5 points for every common artifact solved and 15 for epics regardless of level. But... If you ding lvl 80 make sure move to the Outlands cause the Cata zones open up in the old world and your toon could get whacked.

Wonderful plugin.
What I'd like to be added is the ability to choose which key stones are used/not used.
FOr example the night elf keystones it can use, but I rather sell the Tol'Vir ones.

Also maby add a priority system.
As soon as a Tol'Vir digsite pops I want it to instantly go there.

This bot does not work good anymore for me It cant find artifacts anymore, when the light is green it flys far away and trying to find it agen..

I use it since yesterday and it works nice, not perfect but as i noticed not standalone but finds about 95% of arctifacts pretty fast rest own solve/movement.

Is anyone else having huge problems with archbot?? It is getting stuck(flying around in circles) repeatedly. Im not really sure, I have been gone from HB for about a month but archbot is not working even as close to as smooth as it was when i left. Is this going to be fixed soon or is this only happening to me? (fresh install on a new machine)

do an bug report then, anyway u didnt tell any points just "what" happens i believe also WHERE is very important. i see BC has many stuck points but old land has close to zero for me i only hope cata hasnt even more of it xD


Biggets problem at BC is .. the out of distance stucks.. never happend to me at old lands. But in bc many dig points bot tries are out of dig field so he simple stays and spam button



Anyway the arch prof is pretty useless without bot since blizzard set dig limit to lvl 50 before u need to start solving. 1-2 epic at end of lvls are not bad but only one is still good when u reach 85 the alchi recipe the rest is gone after 1 day at 85 i guess xD so it doesnt have any good point to spend actually weeks for doing all by hand. But bot helps there it makes around 80% and the rest i handle myself. still booring and useless some small pets and fail gold items xD

I was asking if i was the only one having the issue of AB getting "stuck" or flying around in circles. im not really sure how posting a bug report is going to answer my question which was if anyone else was experiencing similar issues.

AB is only useless if you dont want the mounts or whatever. I personally dont care, i just use it as a leveling tool since i dont like grinding 70-85 and many of the quests are not fully afkable.

I'm new but I would like to not see it load the last profile used by default when i run it, could that be a possible issue? cause im having trouble with it to, usually when it wants to load tiles.

i deleted the mesh file location and ran again and its much smoother, it still hangs up here and there and so far i'm 2/2 for a simple double left click on screen and it continues.

It doesn't matter if HB shows it loading up a different profile before it starts because AB doesn't use a profile at all... You can load in what you want before hand or not load anything, doesn't matter.

Hi,
When using AB my toon always uses its fyling mount to go between digsites, which is great, but when at a digsite and moving between surveys it either just runs, uses a ground mount or uses flying mount.
Is there a way for me to set it to for example always use the flying mount? Right now it just seems random what it uses.

Started using AB on my 71 druid yesterday night and have already got him to 74.5 and 375 in the skill not to bad and im averaging around 200k/xp with only one hierloom and no guild bonus! Thanks!
