[H] Grogrond Questing Profile

That quest wasn't included in the profile, will add it to the order.

Thank you for the bugs, I am reworking the profile now, expect an update soon. Keep me posted on anything you find.

According to Wowhead: It appears that you can only get this quest if you choose the arena rather than the lumber mill for your outpost in Gorgrond.

Since this prof chooses the Lumber Mill that quest will not be visible. I can make a prof for the arena if need be.

Well then, kinda regretting my choice now lol. But it would be helpful I think for those of us that choice the arena.
 
I got indeed same problem and choise aswell arena. But great work man!!

Agreed, everyone has an opinion and I will make two profs for this option. That is a 10,000g mistake XD
 
Just wondering, is it possible to just complete the quest or quests associated with that choice, and then continue on with the profile? Or does it change the entire questing experience there?

I mean I could have told those guys that was the most likely problem with the profile. Didn't you post something about lumber mill in your first post regarding the profile?
Sorry, not trying to be an ass to those guys, was just wondering.

Note: Bot chooses Lumber Yard by default with time given to override and choose Your Base, Your Choice. Choosing Lumber Mill is good for building and running your garrison, while Gladiator's Sanctum is PvP oriented and offers multiple achievements and titles. These can be changed at level 100 for a mere 10k gold.

Yeah here is where I saw it. People gotta read better before using profiles. No reason you need to blow 10,000 G of your own money!

I doubt it changes the entire order, but I have just coded the new one and will find out shortly.
 
I must say that I am already impressed and only running it for like 2 minutes so far. The fact that it realized that I already did a bunch of quests and went on to the next in line that I hadn't done is impressive and beyond the other couple profiles for Gorgrond. But, The first quest it picked up is Chapter 1:Plant Food[35508], and instead of picking up Chapter 2: Harvest[35527] and Chapter 3: Ritual of the Charred[35524] all at the same time, it completed 1, picked up 2, completed 2, then picked up 3. once all 3 were completed it turned them all in.

Well I still believe people should read entire posts before willy nilly using profiles they know nothing about. For that simple fact. I mean ultimately it's probably a good thing you were able to add those quests to the profile, but still.

Anyhow man, good job and we really appreciate the effort and time put into these profiles.

No problem mate, with as many alts I have and as others do as well, this is beneficial. I can say that they didn't overwrite the quest order between the Arena and Mill, but it's a damn fork in the road that's for sure. Nonetheless I am ordering the profiles so that the user can easily tell when there is a bug based on the QuestID and Name. It's not time consuming to code, but is VERY helpful for fixing. Plus I make sure the thing doesn't act like a bot by standing on an NPC's head when accepting/turning in quests...

I can tell you it will be a while before I get the Arena profile up fully, but it's coming along nicely.

Usually things are not always as easy to sum up as it could seem. The bot didn't pick any of it so i picked, hence the situation. Didn't figure it would cause that much of a mess, but at least now i know. :)
Besides, 10k gold is a trifle and not an issue really considering how much gold you're getting in WoD. =)
 
Using the Lumber Mill now and the quest "We burn the dead" - 35487

Had to manually move maybe 10-15 yards ahead cause the character was standing too far away for the little boy to spawn.
Afterwards i also had to manually run to the area for the 35487 quest, because the bot stood still saying "Moving to hunting grounds" but never moved.

After this it's running again just fine. :)
