Guild bank hacked.... retrevial success rate?

the deal was out of forums(there is no connection with our forums)

always make sure you can trust the people who trades with you
i e.g. sold about 8 accs and never ever recovered any. i deleted all the information i had about it and threw away the keys...this way i'm not seducted by the thought of getting a nice char for free....and ofc i wouldn't want to have it either...that's why i have HB/HB ;)
 
Ive created a live account for all my accounts, so if im selling my chars i just give them my email account aswell. I would sell all the info for the account and not just the login details. I dont get why people buy only the account details. Its just a tip, if you buy an account also require all other info so this scam cannot happen.

I like bosses idea. Even a mear threat about a lawyer + cops can go a long way

But as far as the gbank... as long as you're the gbank leader, they will know that you didn't take it b/c it is a different IP address. Tell them it wasn't the normal person who was in the gbank and you would like all goods given back to your toons as you're saving up for cataclysm.

As far as the accounts... well, boss knows their name, their payment type, IP address, and I'm sure there are enough dev's on here who know how to get through firewalls to fuck with his shit.

I had a similar situation a couple of weeks ago someone hacked my account and emtied the guild band and all items were restored to the GM so you should be ok.
 
Give me his address and i'll send a couple of suicide bombers over there >=D
 
Say you bought the account from him , if you are lucky they ban him.
 
Always alot of e-thuggery in threads like these :D. Sorry for your loss, it's unethical to scam forum members imo.
 
I know that it has nothing to do with the forum and it comes down to fps's word vs the other persons word... BUT, I think there should be a strict no advertising, no selling, no nothing on these forums to prevent a member from buying from another member. I dont care how good the deal sounds, if it ever goes south, it causes alot of problems.

With that being said, I have my main account that I play on with a character (59 dk) as the GM for EVERY guild so that if something like this happens its VERY easy to get everything back. The other thing is WHY in the world did you allow ANY of your bots to have withdrawl access?

NONE of my bots can withdrawl ANYTHING from the guildbank, when I sell I have a rank that I promote the person buying to and they take out the gold they bought... plain and simple.
