Ya, i've got 150vit from paragon, and am at 15.5M toughness, but as you've seen, i'm trying with AS on weps, which forces me to have an Enchantress for the 3%AS.

For a nephalem+greaters mix, this sux because of the ekstra fury + heals we are not getting. So i'm sitting at 1.2 deaths/hour + many times where it takes longer to backpedal when he gets "lost".

yeah, that is not gonna be pretty on 51XD

Though it isn't that bad to go down 1 or 2 levels. Keep in mind that every time you go one level up, the HP of the mobs go up by a factor of 1.17, and the XP only goes up by 1.08. So you effectively have to do both more dmg to gain the same XP, and you have to have higher survivability (monster dmg multiplier is 1.13).

btw why you ticked in trinity settings "Avoid savage beast charge"?

I am missing 20% area damage on shoulders, 20% physical on neck +15% WW on helmet, weapons are near perfect close to 3k dps 10% str cdr, and still i cant seem to hit 50b/h over longer 10+ sessions reported by turbohud ( usually between 40B+/h, perhaps it really is the lack of damage because of the missing items, runnin 50s and T8, picking up all blues/whites/leges/crafting materials/deaths breaths/blood shards, opening weapon racks and chests/rare chests, paragon is just under 1200, or maybe its me picking up too much stuffs

Also I noticed the new bis list has one ring with cdr/cc/cd, and the other one with damage range, ias and crit, wouldnt it be better to use 50cd instead of damage range ?

Since we are always moving anyways, it is just a minor thing for the bot to decide to go "right" instead of "left". Charge from champions can hurt^^

Yeah, i've had trouble getting above 50b/h+ lately also. The bot seems to get "lost" a lot.

Some runs it is smooth for me, and i can get up to 120b/h in a Grift. Then the next one it'll backtrack and waste 3 minuts for no apparent reason. This is not something it used to do.
Also before the update a couple of weeks ago, i'd be steady at 60b/h, so it is not just you.

Your dmg should be decent, but every box you tick (to pick up stuff) will deduct from your b/h.

Forgot to reply to the ring question^^

I just updated the d3planner again.

@Oldbanana: The 50 Crit damage are on both rings. It is just that you have damage-range on one, with either attack speed or cooldown on the other.

@Sebozz: That is not the best you can get imo.
The updated list is (for 51-T8(9-10)) the best gearset for XP. Remember that we have to deal 9% more damage everytime we go up a greater-level, just to have the same XP.
Also you are forgetting about breakpoints in your d3planner. You need to have 12% extra attack speed (of which only one weapon can contribute, or if both- then get an enchantress for the last breakpoint*)

A cool site that can help with the breakpoints:

life per fury spent is useless af

Why would being 1400+ help surviving without life per fury spent? Armor from str, or what am i missing, dont understand the logic.

Nice question :)

It basically all boils down to whether or not we can "facetank" the bosses.

As we gain paragons, we both gain toughness from the strength, but also dps, which means that we spend less time on the bosses, and therefore have to kite less.

I've tried to illustrate this in the following math, with two scenarios:

Assumptions:

- spending 20 fury per second (with sprint being spammed)
- 15mil toughness (as described in the guide)
- DPS with BIS gear (heals have higher value, if dps is lower)
- We have to kite on several bosses
- Effective heals is the heals we get when kiting
- Effective toughness is toughness from d3planner, with all buffs
- When toughness goes up, the weithed value per HP goes up (relevent when discussing "facetanking" the bosses)

Scenario 1:

800 paragon: 2.6 BN DPS simulated (http://www.d3planner.com/617715897)

Life per fury: 1215
- Toughness: 84M
- Guardian fight time 57 seconds
- Heals gained:
- Life per fury: 1.39mil hp gained (even while kiting*)
- Life per sec: 0.97mil hp gained (even while kiting*)
- Heal from templar: 0.48mil hp gained (193,112*2.5)
- Life per hit: *Not enough to facetank Ghom, Choker etc...
- Life from WW crit: *Not enough to facetank Ghom, Choker etc...
- Total heals: 2.84mil hp gained
(Cooldown calculated here: http://bluecubic.com/cdr.html)

All ress:
- Toughness: 93M
- Guardian fight time: 57 seconds
- Heals gained:
- Life per sec: 0.97mil hp gained (even while kiting*)
- Heal from templar: 0.48mil hp gained (193,112*2.5)
- Life per hit: *Not enough to facetank Ghom, Choker etc...
- Life from WW crit: *Not enough to facetank Ghom, Choker etc...
- Total heals: 1.45mil hp gained

Effective toughness gained: 93/84=1.10714 =10.7%

Effective heals gained: 2.84/1.45=1.96 =96%

Scenario 2:

1400 paragon: 3.5 BN DPS simulated (http://www.d3planner.com/617715897)

Life per fury: 1215
- Toughness: 98M
- Guardian fight time 42 seconds
- Heals gained:
- life per fury: 1mil hp gained (even while kiting*)
- Life per sec: 0.72mil hp gained (even while kiting*)
- Heal from templar: 0.48mil hp gained (193,112*1.84)
- Life per hit: *Not enough to facetank Ghom, Choker etc...
- Life from WW crit: *Not enough to facetank Ghom, Choker etc...
- Total heals: 2.2mil hp gained
(Cooldown calculated here: http://bluecubic.com/cdr.html)

All ress:
- Toughness: 108.6M
- Guardian fight time: 42 seconds
- Heals gained:
- life per fury:
- Life per sec: 0.72mil hp gained (even while kiting*)
- Heal from templar: 0.48mil hp gained (193,112*1.84)
- Life per hit: *Close to being enough for facetanking
- Life from WW crit: *Close to being enough for facetanking
- Total heals: 1.2mil hp gained

Effective toughness gained: 108.6/98=1.10816 =10.8%

Effective heals gained: 2.2/1.2=1.83 =83%

.............................................

The thing which can cost us dearly on our xp/h is if we die; both because we loose pools, but also if it causes us to have a wipefest of a couple of minuts on a boss, due to taeguk not being stacked.

The best place to get back our HP when kiting, is from life per fury spend.

Further, it is easier to "give up" a defensive stat on another piece of gear, when you are 1400+ use all-ress, or %life on belt.

So as long as you don't get one-shot by the boss, or a pack, it is better to have life per fury!

Hope this helped a bit :)

TLDR: below paragon 1400= Life per fury on belt is best - above 1400 all ress of % life is fine and viable.
