[Guide] Everything about Season 3 Monk Botting from T6-GR51+

I cant find the to do list... :D

To Do:
1) Taeguk refreshing using dash or mantra when OOC (never an issue when we're in combat so should be simple to code).
2) Fix Skipping Elites and add behavior to Dash as far as possible away from them (attempt at how we manually skip).

3) Find a way to Cache IS's last cast position and use radian var to dash within IS.
4) Remove some avoidance for RG's as most are not neccessary with FD builds.
5) Change mobs spawned during RG fights to trash instead of IsEliteRareUnique.

Things you can do to help. If you're around when the bot fights an RG that spawns adds please get me the SNO's of the trash mobs. (Pause the game and either use LazyCache to grab them, or use Dump Objects in the Info Dumping tab of DB).

1) Vastly improved. Will do for now.
5) Currently checking SNO's for trash mobs near RG's. Will blacklist them if they are treated as Elites.

EDIT:
1) Added epiphany to be used OOC for spirit regen if FD equipped, which should help with keeping Taeguk up. Issue I had was that it would dash till there wasn't enough spirit left for Mantra, but this should keep it up much more than it did before.

1) He uses DS every second OOC which drains spirit very quick if there are no mobs anywhere near. Even with Epiphany up he will probably loose the stacks. If we really want to keep the stacks up we probably have to increase the time between OOC dashes to 2-3s. I fiddled around with Mantra a little but its not really worth using. Its only a lifeboat for when he has no charges left and an amount of spirit exactly between dash and mantra cost.

1) I've been testing my changes and it works nicely for T6, Taeguk rarely drops. With FD you get enough spirit every 2 seconds to do another dash (with 40+30 RRC) so it's fine.
It doesn't matter if it uses Dash every second until it runs low, as long as when it runs low it can cast another within 3 seconds :)
Oh and as you say with the mantra it should only be used if there are 0 dash charges available, which shouldn't happen with either build the way it's been coded. I was going to try it because it's what I use when I manually run and run out of dashes haha.

5) The trash mobs in question are put into IsBossOrEliteRareUnique. So they are weighted in the same category. I'm going to add the SNO's to the list of mobs to ignore unless they are very close, in which case it shouldn't cause as much of a problem.

I'm currently speedrifting T6 to try to find all the bosses that spawn adds: If you fancy helping then here's the list:

Skeleton king - Mobs are treated as trash already (yay! :) )
Bone Warlock
Ember - Mobs are Exploding one's that we want to kill anyway
Eskandiel
Hamelin - Mobs weighted fine.
Perendi
Saxtris
Binder
Choker
Voracity

Just have LazyCache running and pause the game when the adds spawn. Look for the adds in LazyCache and if the Unit Type is anything but trash then note down the SNO.
I have work in a couple of hours so won't have the whole list till tomorrow sometime.

Im just testing a GR50 with using Epiphany OOC with FD. Having one issue... If you use Epiphany and dont encounter some mobs in the next few seconds so your zodiac can trigger CD reduction, you will have a rather big downtime until you can use it again. And not having Epiphany for 10+ seconds gets you killed pretty quick if you are unlucky.

I thought maybe the trash spawns in question are put into IsBossOrEliteRareUnique but not into IsBoss. Those are two different categories you can use, but if they are spawned by a Boss they are probably weighed as Boss as well.

Good point, although if taeguk is up you're trading 50% damage reduction for ~40% armor. Will test higher GR's more in depth tomorrow.

EDIT: Just re-read your post. They are indeed weighted the same (50000) so the issue is with Target Selection, not with the labels. Blacklisting the SNO's should work well imo, but I need the SNO's :P Thanks

Is the Taeguk refreshing within the 291.1.00 version or is the improved version still under construction and soon-to-be added to your OP?

It will be in 1.01 which should be ready tomorrow :)

@gexstar: Change the time between dashes to 1000-1500 in PlayerMover.cs, and add in a clause for Player.PrimaryResource < 75 for Epiphany activation, see if that helps a little.

has any one seen thier bot ignore blood shards, not sure why its not picking them up 10% of the time i even changed the loot radius to 100 but still misses them when there right there

No, this is not the right place to ask but this is.
Have a look and you will be able to stash whatever you want :)

EDIT: I know there has been menitoned a code for import into that list in this thread, but that is very,very strickt and not recomended if you still have a good way to go before you are "there" :)

Set Gold Pickup to 30000, it should pick up 'most' of them. Only time I've seen it miss them is after an RG dies and it still has mobs to kill around it in T6.

I will be adding customized item lists for Starting out, Ancients only and BiS once I figure out the best Trials build and see what Legs we need for it (I have a feeling that an EP build will be optimal for pushing higher trial waves). But might be a few days till I get that up.

Can u write a guide for non season monk?

I'd love too but I don't actually have any non-seasonal monks, and I have little experience with it =/ I shall have a look at builds and see if I can rustle something up for you though.

OT: Right back from work so I'm going to keep testing out the Taeguk improvements to see if I can get it to work nicely for GR50+ most importantly. At the moment it is pretty much perfect for anything under GR40/45 (where there's little chance of dying depending on how you're geared).
 
Have any tips on how to make the bot not go completely numb around those lightnings-bulbs drifting around the ground on some elites?

I keep dying in those arcane beams (i know i can put up the arcane-amulet for that) but those lightning-bulbs are making my toon stop whatever attack it is doing and get chased down and dies..
I cant find the right setting to handle those if there is any setting for it at all?

The settings for that are under Trinity Settings> Combat> Monk and it's the Thunderstorm one. If you're having major issues with it just put the health percentage down to 10% or something like that.
 
Guys, which one should i use and why so? Im using the one with more dmg but dno since the regeneration thing is important maybe? :confused:

so after using the combo of Eun-Jang-Do and freeze of deflection im convinced its the best combo for the templar, so i actually got a perfect roll of 20% on the Dagger so for the last 20% of the RGs life they are frozen, between the dagger and shield it freezes targets for 4.2 sec at 20% life so thats time where you can just tee off and not worry about damg.

anyone else have a good combo that might work better
 
Roll ur Eun-Jang-Do to lightning damage and use a wyrdward ring on ur templar -> more stunning
using eun-jang-do and wyrdwar on templar myself, which shield is it u talkin about for the templar ?

freeze of deflection it frezzes on successful block for 1+ sec, ill try out the lightning damg thing see how that goes i rolled 10% damg on this ancient one but next one i get ill try it out
