General discussion about bans

is anyone using this bot at the moment for non-questing things and is your account in good standing?

I dont even want to load the game with AB.

Playing on my main, I have patron status, and only once did someone try to invite me to a party but I declined it because I was paying attention at the time I use both rotation plugins, and I've 1 - 30'd a character full afk (took about two days.)

I'm in good standing, no reports or bans, the bot is very bot-like, he got stuck or did something stupid but thats why you got to watch it... also even the rotation plugin for any class, if you select to attack a monster, the bot will want to kill that monster no matter what, no way to disengage, balls deep LOL.

The bot Is undetectable, they just have GMs on some servers watching starting zones, I still see tons of gibberish name bots running around with the suspect debuffs and still not banned, so no worries.. In time just as honorbuddy improved so will this bot, It's a great package for what you pay, and if you know any coding or any people that do you can do wonderful things with it, In light of recent bans however I wouldn't go paying for any paid plugins and just stick to creating your own or waiting for public releases, It's a F2P game afterall.

I should also note IT SEEMS ONLY PEOPLE WITH 2+ Accounts are getting banned while as I've only got one account on a real e-mail etc, so they may have a system in place and you're getting flagged as a goldfarmer/spammer with having multiple accounts.

For those who get immediate bans:

Can you describe step by step how you register your accounts and launch them? (You use glyph or acc manager, same ips on different accs or not, where you enter auth code on first login/etc)

@Out I have another theory to the bans... Only firran can be used, and only sorc as first subclass, not to mention it only uses fireball/freeezing arrow as rotation, and It always runs the same path 1-30.. seems like the GMs can easily determine who is botting and who isn't, while It worked for me, it's different for servers I would suppose, we need some more variety, different skill sets, classes, but the bot Is fresh, so that will take time.
 
Its too dangerous to run 3+ account on same machine. I shouldnt buy 3 sessions key :(
 
Guys who got banned you are missing a lot ....

Steps how to be safe:

1) Never ever log into your account on "home" ip or with real HWID. NOT via website and expecially not via glyph.
2) Never ever use ur real IP or some dirty cheap/free proxy / vpn
3) Dont spam (obviouselly) in chat
4) Dont bot stupid ... like i just saw 6 bots running around killing all quest mobs near high traffic road < this will get you banned.

And thats about it ... everyone of you that got banned was because you fu.cked up on of above 4 points. Period.
 
Honestly, I don't care that much if I get banned, thou that would suck. Spent 100E after release on the game. I hope that will keep me safe. ab and 3 keys are mine. My way of showing support for one thing I like to do... BOt.
 
Bought a month session to try out, created an account on a secondary computer and made the mistake of using a VPN. Logged onto Archeage via archebuddy, created a character, and was disconnected by the gods before I even finished loading the first area. Tried to log back on and it said my account was banned. I then changed my mac address, restarted my computer, made another account, and tried to connect without using archebuddy or vpn and got disconnected again but so far it appears my account wasn't banned. Will try again in the morning.

I'm not going to risk it on my $150 main account.

Then you got banned because you use a v.p.n flagged for autoban due to goldselling or something. NOT for using AB.

This an example of what happen to me yesterday. Honestly I totally believe AB Is not detectable. I use AB On accounts I created the first week of launch. I have no issues running anything I do not use the quester anymore on those accounts though. I big thing right now the gold spammers / other botters. They have upped the scale of when they are choosing to ban people. May it be your name, account, if your using the quester that sets it right off for being suspicious. Mainly because of these gold spammers their trying to fix the problem but its hitting people that aren't suppose to be really hit some legit, some being AB users that think its detectable...

Anyways, I was trying to set up new bots just to grind purely on a separate IP, computer, etc....

Step 1. Use other laptop
Step 2. Hot Spotted my phone, never used the IP, connected laptop to signal
Step 3. Signed up a new account/email with new IP.
Step4. Logged in ran quest leveler, 5-15 minutes I had 3 accounted banned. Made one banned, had a 2nd going banned. waited a few hours third one banned.

They are definitely just watching for suspicious "routine rails, actions, paths, character actions probably even classes.
 
People please for gods sake. Put something in yours heads please. Since wow people ask this over and over.

There is no such a thing like CAN I SAFE BOT 100%?? Of course not! It will always be a risk. No one can guarantee safety for any given time.

I never got banned in wow and have a lot of friends banned. Dont have archeage buddy yet but some friends using it lost their accounts.

This hardware ID ban coukd be happening indeed :(
 
Seriously though, you started a whole new thread to say this why. It's no better then the crying people that got banned. You also don't even use archebuddy so why are you here. What the hell.

When a game master disconnects you out they also take your ability away to chat, something I noticed with Trion lately they don't like bad publicity and will remove most negative comments and your power too be able to do so. I myself was doing nothing and was temporarily banned for just standing in the game no bot, clean IP disconnected by game master and chat was disabled account back in an hour random checks who knows... keep logging in disconnected by game master after the hour expired I finally was able to play uninterrupted.

Um let me guess u play and bot on the same acc, you bot for yourself and you bot "smart". Some pple here DONT want to play the game, we just want to bot and usually that means 10+ accs not just one acc that you play on. It all a different story when you scale up. So usualy pple that act like expects that never got banned, never usually botted in the true sense of the word.
 
12 account constantly banned after 4/5 days, all with dedicate proxy(my proxy let me change ip once per subscription cycle,probably one of the most used formulas, how you manage this? reuse the ip? don't seem a good idea), 4 VM 3*char*VM.
1 char alive since 30 days(newer boted and on a clean machine).
If you ask me, the pain is register new Mails, nothing else. can you advice a fast to register mail service? my count is already close to 100, my finger hurts, please help.

I wander if, registering an account with a puter, then login with Archebuddy (different MAC and stuffs ) might generate a pattern...... what is your thought?

What is Trions stance on botters planting on family farms? As long as the land owner isnt botting, Trion won't ban him correct?

So long as the IPs are not the same, neither account has a history of logging in with the same IP or computer HWID, the land owner should be fine. If the land owner gets banned it's usually just assume they were botting.
Appeal the ban, they will look into the logs and figure out if they were really botting or not.
 
I had 2 accounts banned that botted about 12 hours a day each for 4 months straight making about 50,000gold AND selling it through mail (lost 12k at ban but o well)
They were only banned last week by in game GM's actively coming up to them because an in game player reported them while GM was bot hunting.
When it comes to universalfight plugin which is all I use I definitely don't think it is detected.
