General discussion about bans

you can already buy IPs and use them within the Account manager guys. just buy dedicated IPs from anywhere on the net and loadem up in the account manager. they are super cheap. good to go.

So lets resume. Usage of pro xies wouldnt help at all because they are checking and banning for HWID?

They dont check HWID. They check your IP when you login\ingame, and your MAC when you login.
So if you login with AB acc manager - you have one MAC. If you login with glyph - you show them your real MAC. Same with account registartions (if you use glyph to reg\login).

I have not found nothing detectable.
They still can detect with logs on server (you stay in 1 points 24\7, you farm mobs 24\7, you use 24\7 skill with same delays\etc, of just GMs see that you char botlike, and ban)
 
So im gonna use some pr0xies, registrating with phone or different computers and all should be fine? Or im fine with not botting on main account? Does the MAC switchs every time im using AB?

Two F2P accounts banned. Was using TorGuard V-P-N, had both on the same machine logged in. One made it to level 6 and was still going. The other was created, took 10 steps and I got "You have been disconnected by the Game Master" message. About 4 minutes later the level 6 was disconnected also and banned.

On a separate computer I have the V-P-N connected also and another account running. It is now over level 10 and running just fine.

I'm wondering if the issue is having multiple ArcheAge clients open simultaneously that triggers their notification for botting.
 
all of my accounts ( 4 in total ) are now banned. I barely even got to use ArcheBuddy. I leveled one character to 10 or so with
the questing script. At first OUT said that he believed it was because I was using a flagged v.pn from spammers, but now
I started up the game with a new mac address/ip/account and was immediately banned.

so yes, I now change my opinion and say they are detecting the bot. how? I do not know, but they are definitely able to see that you are using it, and its not just
the plugins because I didn't even run the plugins just now and was dc'd by the gamemaster.

is there anyway I can play this game now without the bot? man, this was stupid. lol this bot
is clearly not ready for release and anyone using it is simply a guinea pig at this point.

edit:if you go in game you see hundreds of gold spammers filling your chat screens, and not being banned. so why
is that I simply login to the game and immediately get banned/detected with ArcheBuddy? I think the answer
to that is clear. I would advise you be very very careful signing into the game with AB at this point.

Dumb conclusion you have there. Only people I see getting banned are those with multiple accounts, or people using mailinator accounts.

My guess is they have a system in place so if you have a more than one account with low level toons coming from the same ip+mac they auto ban you. You are not getting hit because of AB, you are getting hit because of the gold spamming problem. You are getting tagged as a gold spammer.

Be smart and bot with one account, one ip, one pc, use a real email address, and for fucks sake don't use 4 accounts and blame it on AB. You botted like and idiot and got banned, your fault, not AB's.

There are too many users online at the same time for us to take seriously that the bot is detected. If you see 500 or so ban reports, then its time to worry about detection.

1.) I've never used different accounts with the same ip/mac address. I was banned on one account when using v.pn and new account, so I changed mac
and tried with my real ip and was banned as soon as I spawned into the map with AB. I now tried to login to my accounts on their website and my other 2
accounts are now banned as well.
2.) I'm only using one computer
3.) I use gmail for my email accounts
 
For those who got banned. This is an official quote from Scapes ( Community Manager) in official archeage forum.

Quote : It looks like your account was flagged for botting and preemptively banned. It's possible that AFK-leveling your mount triggered this. You should be receiving an email about it shortly (be sure to check your spam filter).
