Im not too sure what you mean by "a blank profile" I thought Garrisonbutler was the profile and Singular is the routine. could you perhaps specify more clearly what you mean? still having this issue :(

Having the same problem. WoW disconnects when GarrisonButler starts. I tried it with the GarrisonButler settings file deleted and it ran fine - of course it wasn't really doing anything. So, there's something specific to the set of options I'm using that's causing the problem. This is on a clean install of the latest release.

Logs are attached - Through Trial & Error, the issue seems to be in Work Order portion of the bot because when I turn them all off, it runs fine with my other settings intact. When I get some more time this evening after work, I'll see if this is a general issue with any / all of the Work Order options or if it is confined to a specific option.

Hoping that the gurus have a Eureka moment though from this info and can fix it before then :D

Crashes are occurring with the following options:
* General: Only Collect Garrison Cache & Harvest Herbs from Garden (Have tried disabling general and leaving other options - still crashes)
* Work Orders: All except Barn, Bunker, & Trading Post (Have tried disabling Work Orders Completely and the bot works - more testing needed).
* Professions: All Professions, but none of the secrets

Really needs to know about the "start all" button. Not much of a time saver if it sits there for 30 seconds clicking the single work order button.

no it dont must to be like this...
some people using a second or third HB Install to let GB do different things including me :)

but you could give it a try if it works for you

what HBFanboy means it that you use something like this "store:///1-100 Questing Profile Pack/Other/AutoAngler2_BlankProfile.xml" in Profile settings at HB Relog

Garrison Butler is a BotBase, Singular a Custom Class :)

The bot base is currently a crashing, or hanging mess mess. I expected better for a paid product. I was a able to use it for a mere week before it went crazy. Any word from the dev on when we can expect a fix? Which cache should I delete to may by see if its old stuff causing it. I have done two clean re installs. Help would be great. Im sorry if this post sounds overly negative.
 
So to all of you crashing, I had the same bug. When the test release came out, my config files were corrupted and had to be deleted. When I did that, I was working again. Once it is working, just reapply the settings in the bot settings for GarrisonButler. I'm not convinced that this was caused by, or fixable by the GarrisonButler team, but rather it was a result of us jumping into a test release of HB. But again, delete your config files for each of your affected characters (it affect only 1 of 11 of my toons!), and you should be golden. I posted this about 10ish pages ago, but unless it is stated over and over again, there isn't much for it. I even got an GarrisonButler dev reply, so you can't fault their support.
 
Do you mean the GarrisonButtlerSettings.xml found on the first page - or somehwere/thing else?

Have you tried a fresh install of Honorbuddy from the website? Try that and copy your GarrisonButlerSettings.xml for your character from the old directory.

I think the question means are you sure you're using the latest Honorbuddy in your HBRelog settings? Do you perhaps have multiple HB install folders and forgot to update your HBRelog settings?

Thanks for all the detailed information! We'll definitely take a look! Currently things are running smoothly in the beta release, which we hope to have out this week (NO PROMISES!!! :)).

Due to some circumstances beyond Deams's control, he's had to deal with some IRL stuff the past week (and this week) that hasn't allowed him to deal with GB issues. Bad timing because of the new patch/new honorbuddy, but it is what it is. The current beta seems to be running smoothly, which we hope to have out this week. Any logs you can post will help us verify that this is indeed a duplicate of issues we've already fixed! Thanks!

I have also verified this one my end. HB has issues with corrupting some settings files (various files in your character config). Your best bet is to do a fresh install and ONLY copy over GarrisonButlerSettings.xml .. This could solve some crashing issues for people. Generally crashes are related to Honorbuddy and not the BotBase.
 
Perhaps less time convincing us you've done updates and actually *do* updates. I have to say, I've kicked off a trial of GarrisonBoss and it doesn't suck. It has some pretty nifty features done and working. Like way before the "2 weeks to the day" that you cite above.

Well we unfortunately have to take the time to reply to the same comments over and over again.
So keep posting them, we will keep losing time on it. :/
We can't compare with garrisonboss, we have definitely not the same philosophy about features and how to code them.

Once again, we take the time to do things right, the time to make something which would bring value to the money you spent, something robust that you can trust to take the right decision.
It takes a bit of time, but we've never quitted.
Trust us or get close to someone in the beta, the guys there are pretty happy even if they get all the bugs you won't have in the release. :)
 
i've followed the guide to try and get this setup on page 137. Rather than with garrisson buddy trying with the questing add on.

I get the client to open but it doesn't attempt to login.
Any ideas please guys?

youre talking bout HBRelog settings i think...

this is the wrong forum for HBRelog issues... you dont have an GB issue....

on Page 1 there is a video how to setup all things correctly.

have you Teamviewer installed and running? this can cause this strange not login issue.
also you can try to setup a Login delay for WOW - at the beginning this caused me troubles with not logging in
try something like 10-15 seconds.... this only waits longer to send information cause sometimes your WOW window is not fully loaded and HBRelog tries to send login information.

Situation seems resolved now that I only have profession buildings (small) and the garden and it works fine now. I suspect that there may be some relationship between harvesting the mine and the mine work orders. Where if you don't harvest the mine, but check the Mine's work orders, it may cause some kind of problem - but I'm just glad it's working again :)

EDIT: Actually, on one of my other toons, I'm watching it bug on the Work Order Dialogue box - it runs to the NPC and opens the dialogue, clicks nothing, and runs away with the message:

[GarrisonButler ICE] 1.10.30.2: [ShipmentStart,130] Failed to open Work order or Gossip frame. Maybe Blizzard bug, trying to move away. Try #2 out of 10 max.

And then it runs back to the NPC and tries again with the same result. It does that continuously. I think you guys mentioned you're still adjusting to the new work order frame with the latest patch - I've an idea that update might fix this. Just FYI. Don't wanna miss out on my work orders! :(

My bot keeps moving weirdly, it goes to a spot, stops, then keeps going. It looks really bottish. Please fix this.
 
Can we get more votes for https://trello.com/c/e7jcdP1X Its needed much more now with the profession trader and getting primal spirits from missions, I have several characters running around with 200+ primal spirits on them, would love for the bot to trade them for bloods for me.
