Fpsware Druid: Shapeshifter

I run this CC on my druid and I can confirm that balance, feral and Guardian all work fine... Guardian is probably the weaker of the modes but all are more than sufficient.

While you are looking at your posts Fpsware... anyway to make the CC stay in mode... for example while quesitng in feral spec it constantly changes in and out of kitty and native for no good reason, it would be good if it just stayed kitty as it looks and behaves a little odd

If its not in a shapeshifted form its likely because it was casting a healing or HB made it perform a function that caused it to leave form. In the next build (released soon) you will be able to choose at what HP% to cast out of combat healing, this will result in it staying in shapeshifted form more often.

Excellent news, I love your work by the way its the only CC that truely does most of what people actually need, im currently using it for questing in kitty and lazy raider in tank and the best part is it recognises when i change spec without me having to damn well restart HB.

How is it going as a tank? I've only done limited testing at low level as tank.
 
My 10m guild is in need of a healer, how good is the heals on this bot? Thinking i may gear this toon up to be a healer and run this as my CC.
 
Fpsware, another bit of feedback for you, is the pathfinding and movement yours?

I ask the question because sometimes I find the bot clicks to move to a distant spot, runs and then targets a new NPC red, at this point it would be good if it engaged and cancelled it previous way point but instead it completes the previous running motion and then turns around to attack, it would be good if the bot cancelled its current navigation run if it has a target selected in range?

Numerous people have reported successfully healing Heroics. Personally have only healed non-heroics, so I can't say exactly how well it would work in a raid.

Navigation is handled by HB.
 
i'm using balance and have enabled targeting and movement , using grindbot.
The bot doesn't face the target thus spamming a spell "starsurge" without actually hitting anything. the only workaround is to wait for a mob to attack you if you are afk or simply face the mob yourself, but this issue is repeating itself many times :(

Hey man I have the same issue, change your Pull to Always Entangle Roots. Entangle Roots can be applied even when your back is facing to the target. It will make your pull rotation a bit slower but at least it works. Make sure you turn every other option to Never.

changed to singular for the time, thanks for the suggestion btw.
 
How is it going as a tank? I've only done limited testing at low level as tank.
Its not bad actually, so far im level 86 with 272 Uldum gear and im pulling about 6-8k in instance on normal diff.... but it is holding the aggro fine so far, it also uses the coold downs nicely which saves it getting hammered, the only issues I would say is that I have to disable the charge spells as I want to control that myself, it would also be good to have an option that only using Faerie fire when actually in combat or short range because if I target a mob lets say to place a mark icon on it then it will cast faerie fire and the group might not be ready to fight.. i hope that makes sense.

It doesnt use maul but nobody does really anymore, I use it when to assist the CC when I trying to grab an AOE hit on lots of mobs.

Also I make sure that I disable movement and targeting for obvious reasons :P

The best option you could give us (me) right now FPS is the ability to save different configurations, for example I enter an instance as tank and I manual disable movement, targetting, faerie fire, charging etc but when I am finished and I go back to questing I change to kitty spec it would be good to simply click a saved config and have it load those settings for movement, targetting etc etc.... its a small thing

I have only tried the healing spec in 5 mans and not raids so the mechanics would change, in 5 man is not bad, i would give it 8/10 and its the only CC I use for all aspecs of druid right now.
For example it focuses heavily on the tank which is great and cast lifebloom and rejuv which means in most cases the tank never gets touched but its then a little slow to react to splash dmg to other members of the group, its not uncommon to find another members of the group with 70% health for a few seconds before the CC kicks in and saves the day.

One nice feature is that it seamingly interupts casting if its no longer relevant, for example it will start casting nourish on the tank and realise its no longer needed and move onto something else.

The ability to disable buffing would be a nice option as sometimes the CC gets into a war with a paladin or monk for buffering

I'll be testing a fix for this tomorrow. Its been plaguing me for long enough.
