First ban ever! - Only used LazyRaider!!

Never changed IP/MAC. Either way, if that was the case, all my accounts would currently be banned. They banned one and stated that that ONE account was using a 'confirmed bot'. Shit, as I was talking to the GM, I was running Mixed Mode with ArchBuddy/BGBot.

None of my farming accounts were banned, my other account with one other Server First Heroic Rag and 2 other Firelord toons was not banned, only that one. Again, I have no idea why or how. I just kept asking about it cause I was going to sell it before 4.3 came out, but it was banned around October 15.

Anyway, already sold my other Server First Heroic Rag (balance druid w/legendary), covered the cost of the new account I made and the one I lost, althought if I get the one I lost back I could make another $500 easy.

NOTHING ELSE. NO 24/7 FARMING, NO BGBOT, NO GATHERBUDDY, LAZYRAIDER FOR 3-4 HOURS OF RAIDING 3-4 DAYS A WEEK.

NO BIG GOLD TRANSFERS, NO AUCTIONS ON THE AUCTION HOUSE. BEING IN A HARDCORE GUILD, I GET FLASKS, FEASTS, POTIONS, ENCHANTS, GEMS FROM THE GUILD BANK. AS MY REPAIRS ALSO GET PAID FROM THE GUILD BANK.



Sweet fucking Jesus Christ. If your not going to read what I type, please go flame somewhere else. Am I saying HB or anything that has to do with HB is detected? NO. What I do know is I only used LazyRaider on this BRAND NEW account that was only SEVEN MONTHS OLD 3-4 hours a night for 3-4 days a week. THAT'S IT NOTHING ELSE ON THE ACCOUNT. Is it that really hard to understand?



If you look at the screenshot form the GM, the gold he is referring to is from the account I was talking to him on, NOT THE ONE THAT WAS BANNED. Only reason he talked about the other account is I kept asking why it was banned over and over and he finally got "approval from his supervisor" to tell me. Everything about gold in the Screenshot refers to the account I was on, which NEVER HAD INTERACTION WITH THE OTHER ACCOUNT. ONLY THING THEY HAVE IN COMMON IS MY FIRST AND LAST NAME, which made me surprised the guy even answered the question cause they are not on the same b.net either.

the answer is no, if the bot was detected and blizzard knew, everyone would be banned not just 1 user.

no the OP lost the account in question, why would anyone lie about losing an account?

now what i think happened is the gold got transferred and blizzard looked into it. not having any other explanation they went to their old fallback "you where botting and put an end to it" im not saying they where lieing but you said it your self, they kept saying "its been over a year" and the account was only active for 6 months.

ether way, sorry for your loss, but if you can please fill in the ban forum we can take a look at all CC's and related plugins to make sure they aren't causing issues.

yea i know i dont think you, think that hb is detected, i just needed to make that 100% sure to people who are questioning the safety of HB. it all smells really fishy, that not only was the GM not providing accurate information, but theres no way that he would of known based on your usage. ether way im going to take a look at the CC source code and make sure its not using any funny lua calls or anything like that just to make sure, but it seems like maybe it could of just been a bit of bad luck, and that happends sometimes.

ether way if he didnt know you where botting before he certainly knows now that his name is in the screenshot.

It's alright, the three FL are about to be moved to new accounts and sold. That account is going to be come a strictly farming account, probably gonna just sell off all the gold, make a one day fire sale off nearly 8 mil gold (obviously account will be banned, but I'm fine). Guild needs a DK tank, just so happens I leveled a DK for farming on a seperate account a month ago, did some HM FL with him to gear him up and we are gonna try to get me more gear tonight from DS/LFR so I can make be the progression tank for DS. We will see though.

The part I find fishy is that the GM reported 2 things:

1) that the data reached back as far as their logs went - at least a year and you said in the thread that the account had only been active for the last 6 months and you were previously deployed to Afghanistan. (BTW - Thank you! I did 'boots in sand' in Baghdad myself). What he said about their logs is obviously an outright LIE.

2) Got permission from his supervisor to give specifics about the other account... that doesn't sound right to me either... but that's more subjective to me.

I'm not saying YOUR story is fishy... I'm saying Blizz is pulling a smoke and mirrors trick. I have no idea why they banned your account - I would continue to appeal via tickets. But... I just don't buy Blizz's version of this story...

Do you use separate folders for each wow account?
If you don't they have all the accounts you used due to WTF and Cache info. If you do then i have no idea.

Oh I'm still appealing it. I've been appealing it everyday for the past month and 2 weeks, or as often as they send me the same message saying:

As this issue has been reviewed by multiple representatives, it is now considered closed. Should you have any questions regarding a different account or issue, please feel free to contact us again. However, further inquiries regarding this issue will no longer receive a reply.

But I keep putting a ticket in over.. and over.. and over...


EDIT: For people saying it's fishy, I 100% agree. Especially what happened with my gold on the account I opened the ticket for. That account has 3 Firelords on it, Druid, Warrior, Mage. My Druid had 150,000g on him left from the guild raffle I won. [NOTE: I had an authenticator on this account as it was my main]. I logged on and the gold was missing, opened a ticket, they told me I obtained the gold illegally and took the gold. Then I got banned a few hours later for exploitation of the economy. I opened a ticket online, they restored the account, I asked about the gold and they said:

Thank you for your patience and understanding while waiting for further investigation into the reported situation, and I apologize for any inconvenience this wait may have caused you.

We took an additional look and, fortunately it appears all verifiable losses have already been restored in the previous investigation and we are unable to offer any additional restorations.

Yet, I didn't get the gold back :/ I gave them the exact day and, within 5-10 minutes, a time that I withdrew the gold. I even had the GM and one of the Officers put a ticket in confirming that I won a guild raffle, and they said they could not verify it and could not restore the gold. I have NEVER heard of something like this before.

This is never ever related to lazyraider. I'm using it myself since it's beginning back in april along with botting 10 chars all on the same computer. I'm pretty pretty sure it's just the amount of gold that made them "investigating" you/your account.

Or perhaps all the piro* fanboys or super pissed now writing ticket 24/7 XD

As for someone reporting me, again wrong. It was LazyRaider in a Hardcore Progression guild. Top 30 World Rag Kill pre-nerf. If you aren't at the top of the game, you are replaced.

Then expect to lose your other account as well. There's stories all over the forums about people putting in tickets again and again; they get banned for "harassment" and rightfully so.

You botted, you lost. Get over it and move on. Harassing Blizzard over it isn't going to bring your account back, it's more likely to cost you even more accounts.

He's kinda right though, you know the risks of botting and if they say they know about it putting endless tickets in will do no good.

Eventually they will close your battle net account so you cant spam them anymore.

I read your post. What YOU don't understand, or perhaps don't know is...there DON'T has to be any ingame interaction between the two accounts, for both being banned. There have been bans in the past where people haven't been botting one single second on an account and got banned.
Why? Cause they check everything from one account to another. If they see the same account holder name, same ip, same mac they think "allright" and swing the hammer.
They don't need to prove/describe/show anything for banning your account.

If they think you violated the eula with any account, they are allowed, by there own eula which you accepted, to ban any account or all.

All i can tell you is, never trade huge gold transactions, NEVER. Always face 2 face and i would never trade more then 50k.

best thing to do is save like 200k per server, put it all in guild banks and then have a vanilla account withdraw it and when you sell 600k ?9.99 is a drop in the ocean to keep your farm accounts safe.
