FPS, I'm actually going to be sending in a donation. It's dawned on me, all the times I've used your products and not ever thought about donating. Thanks for your support. Here's a cold one on me.

a lot of people (~ 7/10) are fast with words, saying "yes ofc i donate!!!111 / send beer money!!!11" and don't do a thing once they got what they want. The past has told.

Sadly you are correct. And I base my answer on previous experience with my work.

I actually don't know if/how much i would donate, it would be up to some factors.
for example, how profitable this is. assuming it changes nothing compared to gb2 (just a thinking-comparison, not a fact one) i don't see much sense in donating. If it gathers for example at 50% of the speed, but lasts twice as long until banned, nothing is won on my side. on the other hand, if it gathers at 200% and lasts twice as long, i'll be make some decent profit and don't mind to share some with the creator of the tool i use.

Never the less i appreciate your work, but without profit, theres no money for donating.
Reason #1 i don't donate to CCs but invest some time to write my own or use modified free ones.

Given some of the features I have implemented such as "Random AFK" (which does just what you think) it will be gathering LESS nodes per hour than GB2. When I farm MoP I span 2 zones, Jade Forest and VotFW. I typically get around 190-200 NPH.

But Farmer Joe is not written to exceed the NPH of GB2, it is written to add lacking features and abilities, and keep you from getting banned.

A bit offtopic: How many got banned using this during development phase and "alpha/closed beta"? When i was following your old thread i remember one incident, but he was using gb2 aswell if I'm not wrong

Over the last 6 months of use I am aware of 3 people getting banned using Farmer Joe, and 1 of those is a professional botter so that doesn't really count.

Without reading all 15 pages, this is my opinion.

Someone who puts in alot of effort to help this community should be rewarded. I think if Farmer Joe is much better than Gatherbuddy, people will gladly donate to you.

However, most people are extremely greedy and won't ever consider donating $5 for something that can make you much more money.

I voted _MAYBE_ and here is my reasoning. I am a new honorbuddy member and do not know the _SCENE_ very well, however, I am an programming and networking enthusiast myself. I am a broke as **** university student and am trying to afford my rent let alone give handouts. HOWEVER if a profile helps me in any way, they should be rewarded. Lets say I make my first $50 worth, and it was 20% due to kick's 50% due to farmer joe and %30 due to a guide I read, then I will definitely be giving a chunk of that money towards the people that deserve it! I will be real and say yes I do put myself first when I need to eat or pay rent or whatever else, but I believe in people getting what they deserve, and if you helped me eat, I would like to return the favour and do the same.

TLDR: If it helps me out greatly, I will return the favour in a great way as well. If it helps me out a bit, I will return the favour in a small way. If it does not help me or the community or feel that its a waste of time, well then >>insert snort of derision<< (YES NO MAYBE SO? :3)

This being said im sure itll be great and youll get a beer on me by the end of the month that it comes out. Cheers mate
