EU 1/1 11lvl - 15minutes of DB usage

what we need is a hard coded delay between casting tp and exiting the game the bot leaves before you even appear half the time no one is that fast. Also creating games the second the screen loads with no delay is extremely predictable.

Also a game creation delay setting with % for randomess so set it to 30% with a 50% threshold and it can create the game from 15 to 45s.

We are doing that. We will also add a way to randomly switch profiles.

I lost (http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/demonbuddy-ban-reports/61608-6-6-eu.html) 2 days ago.

Reinstalled windows and changed my IP/MAC few hours ago.
Purchased new key 30 minutes ago and started DB to level up my new toon.
Was running wretched queen for 15 minutes and BAM. banned

Conclusion? Demonbuddy seems detectable...
There was absolutely no relation with my previous accs banned, so what the fuck!?
I am with you man... It has to be detectable because I've used DB very little as well and got banned.

I applaud Hawker's effort to figure out what is going on.

IB implemented random game creation times and endings a few patches ago. You would set a time between game creation then a percent to deviate from that set time then you would set a time to leave the game after and a percent to deviate from that time. So if you set your delay between games to 20 with a 10% deviate time it would take anywhere between 18 seconds and 22 seconds to attempt to create a new game and if you set a 1 minute game time with 10% deviate time it would take between 54 seconds and 66 seconds to leave a game.

I truly believe the bans are based on game creation time instead of leaving time since all IB users had a random leaving time but did not have a random creation time due to the bot being bugged when the creator disappeared and did not fix that initial delay in game creation bug. Would explain why most IB users were banned about a week before the banwaves started hitting DB users.

Yes it's great to have such amazing support.
Although I am gonna stay low for days now, I'm really looking forward for new solutions.

Yeah, they announced game limits because of botters... could be something to do with that.

If the bot was detected you would see ALL users posting ban reports and a huge number of thread being created regarding their bans.
Bans always exist, so stop crying and don?t make yourself look like a retard by saying the bot is fully detectable, it might be the behavior of the bot. who knows?

hey just a FYI look at the forums gee there was a banwave it was more then likely targeted at the common profiles

time to give you a break cause simply you dont know what are you talking about and you keep posting your wrong theories here
so,after your 3 days mute think before posting

pwned!

did you changed your client id ?

edit: forget
"Reinstalled windows" so you also reinstalled a new d3 client.

You are confusing 2 concepts; the bot itself being detected and the use of the bot being detected. If the bot is detected, we have 100% bans like with Glider in May 2008 and Gatherbuddy in September 2009. If a pattern of bot use is detected, we see a 100 or so bans a day. When that happens, we need to try to identify the pattern of usage that is being targeted.

EDIT: btw Blizzard did not ban the new accounts and we still have huge online user numbers. So we still don't know the pattern to of behaviour they are looking for.

and rift bans :)

you don't have to install a new diablo client everytime you want to change your ID
everything is in registry.

BTW I've got several replies from my dispute with blizzard.
Everything's in polish so there is no point to copy/paste.

Basically they were very conclusive with their decision, but they refused to show any evidence of me botting.
After I questioned how on earth they are 100% positive I was botting in those 20 minutes and that they innocently banned a lot of people in the past,
they said and I quote "Our actions were just. There is absolutely no place for our mistake in this matter, however we will again reconsider your case"

fuckers.

I too received a ban not long ago on my one, and only, account.

First and foremost, I am quite happy with the Demonbuddy team and the community as a whole, and do appreciate all of the work that goes into making this bot/profiles possible.

BUT!!

To those people saying: Demonbuddy isn't detected because "all Demonbuddy botters would be banned." Need to think twice.

Lets think about this and banning patterns in general.

Blizzard knows that the botting community is full of really bright coders, whose jobs/livelihoods/hobbies depend on creating and/or noticing certain algorithms. I am no coder, but I know damn well that if I was working on the Blizzard team, I would somewhat randomize the criteria that is used for banning people. The MOMENT, a pattern is established, is also the moment that their methods of banning/detecting become obsolete altogether. So, just because person so-and-so was/or wasn't doing x-y-and-z when they received the hammer DOES NOT MEAN that those variables are what banned them. Furthermore, what would also be somewhat indicative of Blizznutz making something of an effort to remove patterns from their banning methods, is the fact that people can go days without botting and STILL receive the ban hammer when the time comes --something triggered the flag, but they wait to ban so as to prevent us from getting a better understanding as to WHAT triggered the flag.

Something another poster has mentioned with regards to "culling" botters, and Blizzard doing so in a way to maximize profits, should not be discounted and is very much a likely scenario.

Now with all of that said, I do seriously believe that it is not Demonbuddy that is being detected ( why? because I have faith), but rather them either: cross checking coordinates with public profiles with the input from users; them noticing people being on 24/7; and/or game creation times being too quick or not random enough.

Im sure I am going to get flamed for this, but go ahead. FLAME AWAY!!!

First rule, dont admit your botting when write "I wasnt botting" in the email, just ask that "wtf Im banned" and dont give them the hint when writing that you were botting.

na, already tried, they too smart for that, although it was my main and i actually didn't bot with it. btw you work for gillette or something?

Are they allowed to read the process manager? You should try to rename DB to some porn software to see if they ban you anyways.

mines been named AOL Instant messenger.exe since last weeks bans

-edit- I just sold auctions today, and have botted at least 5-6 hours today. I doubt DB is detectable.

I wouldnt be suprised if trials are sent to different levels of review to make sure temp players that dont pay don't get items and send them to other accounts to get $

And your trying to level a character, but I bet you didn't even beat a few quests first, I bet you went right to the first wretched mother quest and then just re-did it a ton.

how many new players do you think get to the first quest and don't progress until they are leveled up?

-edit- what methodology are you using to change ur IP and mac adress? BTW for all you know the "keys" you bought secretley are tainted from the getgo.
I wonder how long before US IP adresses playing strangley with Russian keys are going to arise suspicsion

Ok. My two cents.
I am playing on a very old account (nearly 6 years old WoW).
I have botted WoW exclusively with Honorbuddy over a year HARDCORE! And that means the bot also ran my attack rotations when raiding with my guild on my various toons..., always rotating my profiles and always doing same with farming and levelling toons.
I have been using DB for only a few days but have been doing the same thing. Only on any one toon for app 60-90 mins, only on one profile for 30 mins and am currently sitting on a 60 DH, 59 Wiz, 52 Barb and 39 Monk and Gold I haven't bothered to check (not important). Yes it involves me returning to the computer once an hour and it also involves me alternating with hand play as I did with WoW. If it was detectable, logic dictates I would be banned by now.
If my status changes I will update, but again, logic tells me that Blizz is more probably watching gaming patterns. The profiles are damn repetitive and thus very very easy to follow.
Relax fellow botters. Be of good cheer. Don't go nutz with the bot, vary your activities, hand play some as well. Wait for the team to advance the bot and profiles as they did with HB/GB and use it wisely.
At the end of the day IT WAS YOUR CHOICE TO BOT. NOONE ELSES. Take the ban if it comes with good humour and with yur chin up, move on or get another account and stick it back up Blizz again lol...

Peace all.

I was just wondering why did you banned me for any reason, and not giving me at least a warning or a chance to defend myself? I am still a customer who payed for this product and I think I am entitled of some opinions others than yours. Or you just ban anyone who is not agree with you?
