Eclipse - SkinBot

I'm sure you will find it soon enough but for now it's a big improvement over the current default skinning logic. Once you iron out the issues I had above it will be flawless! Allow us to use our own hotspot profiles and it will be amazing!
I need to make more gear on my druid and therefore need to do more skinning. I plan to sit down and fix the tagged mobs thing once and for all.

If the bot on kill mode engages more than 1 mob at a time, like a group of hostile mobs, it will not loot and will stand in place until the corpses vanish before proceeding. This happens almost every time.

Figured out the problem. If the mob killed isn't added to the kill list, the bot won't loot it. Making sure you add everything to the kill list fixes it and it keeps on steaming along.

It's not that. It's that one is tagged and its trying to skin.

No, my issue absolutely is what I reported. There was nobody around to tag anything. I was using kill mode on human mobs. No skinning. I added just one variant to the kill list because your logic kills everything from the group. When it killed JUST that variant it looted fine. Whenever it killed a different variant it wouldn't loot and move on. The moment I added that variant to the kill list, it looted (INSTANTLY) and moved on. This happened a few more times until I added every variant in the area in addition to any named NPC's that I might kill. Each time adding them to the kill list instantly allowed the bot to loot. Once everything was added the stand and wait behavior 100% came to a complete end.

Maybe, just maybe, this is the issue you've been banging your head into regarding tagged mobs?

Ok I understand now. I will definitely have to check if its only allowing looting from the kill list. Thanks for the detailed description

Just a question, would a SVN update link be better?
I move around between computers a lot, and I wouldn't want people checking out broken/incomplete code. I use TFS and SVN to keep my own stuff together and in-sync. I did try to share an SVN Repo once and I couldnt figure out how to allow anonymous access to my repo.

Hey Twist, I'm loving this botbase. In fact I love it so much that I created a plugin that works specifically with it to use the nagrand mounts.

I was wondering if there would be any way to implement a way to manually add the guid of a mob you want to blacklist (kinda like the menu you currently have for targeting specific mobs). It bums me out when I come back from being afk for a few minutes and I'm standing there attacking something in a tree or an ancient leatherhoof that is surrounded by windroc.

Keep up the great work!

man, freaking awsome, my Huntard loves you (leather), my mage loves you (fur & greens), keep up the great work :)

Looks good. when i try to set it up to farm in nagrand it will just stand still for some reason. dunno if thats gotta do with hb or the botbase.

It needs to be "trained" in the first post on the thread it describes how to train it. There is a video too.

Yeah, but it wont work good with arelog, since it needs to be trained every time?
Once its trained it's permanent. It saves everything to a back-end Database, so it works with Relog fine.

which file or folders do i need to keep when i go to replace this bot with a new version so i dont have to rebuild the data base?

That's a GREAT question!
All the data is stored in an Eclipse Database file with an extension of ".EDB". keep that and delete the "new" one.
