[PAID] Eclipse - Shadow Bot (RAF / Assist / Dedicated Healer)

Like the bot, nice . . . but one question/comment . . . . when the follower dies, is it correct that it just waits, dead not resurrected, at the graveyard until the leader also dies (because it is out of range of the leader when it transports to the graveyard)? I would prefer it run back to its body in the hope/assumption the leader is still there so it can resurrect and start following again. Is there a way to set that?
It should still do the dead run. I wonder if my most recent changes broke that...

Working with it a bit more . . . It was in fact running back to its body in ashram, but did not earlier "in the world" doing one of the reputation grinds.

Another question . . . It works well with the singular CR . . . . But that is not the best CR. I like the gladiator CR, and use it on my "by hand" leader. But it does not have movement. It will follow, with shadow, but it does not seem to dismount and engage in combat when the leader does. It seems to just stay mounted, not engaging. Is that correct or is there a setting I can change? (I find not test this a lot, just quickly).

Does it work fully with the raider CR? That is better than singular, but it also does not have movement.

It is a fun bot. I have just been running one follower, but I think I will get another.

Feature request:

If I'm playing the leader as a healer then the follower will assist on my target but will only attack that target as long as I'm attacking it. So, if I click on someone else to heal them (ie my target changes to a friendly target) the bot will disengage from the enemy target and come back to me.

So, perhaps a toggle/hotkey could be implemented where the follower toon would stay on the target unless the hotkey is pressed - in which case it would then run back to the follower.

If he can make the bot to assist really well in bgs I will be a happy customer.

FPS Ware's Raf Bot worked really well, it had auto-movement implemented and if you were the leader playing a healing class and your target was hostile then the followers were running and attack it. Maybe this will be implemented here too.

What I have noticed too is that if the leader dies the followers stops combat and just sits there.

Running a two toon group. When doing grinding, the follower starts out perfect, but after some time he starts running back and forth and in small circles - and does nothing, does not assist the leader when he starts combat and does not loot.. He is set to loot - that's the point of the grinding. Originally I thought he was conflicted between combat and grinding, but he does it even when the leader is not in combat.

Is this a known behavior - is there a known solution?

Can provide a log file if needed but thought it might be a known solvable problem.

Try to increase your follow range -it always prioritizes following the leader - if your distance to follow is too close it will run to the loot, then get to far from leader and run back.
If increasing the follow distance doesn't help then let me know and I will bust out the raf team and check it out.

When the leader dies the RAF should continue combat until its enemies are defeated and then sit there and wait for the leader. Sounds like its working as intended.

You can set roles for each character in the group (such as Healer, tank, dps etc) through the party interface (there is an image showing this on the first post). IF you choose healbot mode on the ShadowBot interface you MUST select the Healer party mode for that character. The Singular CC (and even mine which isnt out yet) uses that role check to choose healing behaviors.

Can you make it only pickup quests the leader is targeting? so you dont get the yoyo effect
nothing worse than going down the road and the follower wants to pickup a quest I want to skip.

Is it possible to have the leader randomly choose someone in a raid? I like doing the apexis dailies, but people drop group so fast that it just doesn't work. If would be nice if it can prefect the biggest cluster in a raid and randomly follow them. Then if someone leaves raid, or separates from the cluster somehow to choose someone new to follow..

This would be be really awesome when doing raids in large looking for group like the pit etc to farm apexis shards..

OR FARMING POUNDFIST IN A RAID... damn why won't you spawn!

All the botbase does is following my leader but not healing, kinda useless.
I set healer to heal, tank to tank and it will simply follow and let me die.

No one has ever reported that before, what CC are you using? And can you please post your log?

Bot never accepts a single quest.. have to hand do it.. It sucks :/

Do you have "Accept Quests" turned on? Doesnt sound like it...

Yes it's turned on. Tried to reinstall HB etc. but it wont accept quests.
The bot talks to the quest giver, the quest pops up but it dont accept the quest. I have to press "Accept" for myself everytime.

Can you attach your log please? I have seen this sometimes when there is a "continue" box - but never on the accept box. Log will help, thanks!

Sure. I'll attach my log once my internet is stable again - using internet stick right now. GPRS speed ftw!
