Do you still dare to gear up your Champion Farming Bots after "Recent Events"?

My bots usually run 2 or so dph on average, and I spent under 5 mil and farm Act 3 inferno. I keep an eye out for good deals and move items around that I find on different characters if it might be an upgrade. My wizard I think I am going to need to spend a little bit more to be doing as good as my barb.

70 mil at least to run A3 with 0 deaths. A 1000+ dps 1H weapon with strength and LOH will be about 30mil just by itself.

ofc its possible. u dont have to go for this "ww ftw" build. Barb with 2h 1200dps 400str 5% lf (+3% from passive) weapon with 38k hp, 800ar and cigars act3 almost 0 deaths / h. i spent <25m for sure, got 45k dps, 38khp, 800ar, 8% lf , 350 loh (from old 1h build)

I agree you dont need more than 10- 20kk to gear a barb to farm act 3...the thing is its gonna be slow and inefficient

But with 60-80kk you can build a speed killing machine which kills faster = more elites killed/hour = more drops=profit

Who is saying you have to stick with 20m gear? You do an initial 20m-30m build so your bot can get through act3. Then you upgrade with what you find. My barbs are now all well over the 100k mark, and doing like 450k crits. I can blast through act4 like the wind. I did not spend a single gold/dollar/euro whatever after that initial 20m-30m for any of my bots.

agreed that this thread is pretty uninformative, but what most people are referring to is using a 30mil barb and leave it as is, and not upgrading because they figure, the additional funds spent would be a waste since you "may" get banned. Whereas other people such as myself think that its best to gear the barb as best as possible spending more to have it run efficiently, basically more risk but greater reward mentality.

The whole point is that after that first build, all of your upgrades are free. And yes, you run the risk of losing whatever you equip your bots with. That comes with the territory of botting. I only use rares on my bots. Granted I have some pretty good gear on my bots now, but it was all free anyway.

It's the only bot I'm running but I make at the very least $20 on a bad day, usually more around $40-50 a day, sometimes I'll get lucky and find a $200-250 legendary. Considering I don't have to do jack sh!t, it's great.

Srs, I found an Inna's Vast Expanse that rolled really well about a week ago. Sold for 350 mil. Used that to finish gearing my barb, has over 375% MF thanks to my follower. Act 3 is a joke now.

And who would pick 3% lifesteal over Weapon Master, Tough as Nails, and Ruthless for A3? Someone who can't do math? Also, 800 AR before war cry on a 25 mil budget with a 2h? Is that some kind of joke? Or if you mean 800 AR after war cry, is that another kind of joke? You'll get bitchwipped in A3 with 38k hp and 800 AR after war cry, 0 dph is fucking unrealistic. I see 2-3 dph at 50k-60k HP with 1100 AR after war cry.I find it funny that the people who make the most outrageous claims on this forum NEVER back it up.

Yeah Superstition would work too, that was just 3 I named. All my barbs use superstition. The point I was making was that 3% life steal is worse than 2k armor.
