Do you report other bots?

What do you do if you see another farming bot?

  • Nothing, leave them be. Botters shouldn't report other botters.

I do and i chase you off my server till your banned. You all lie if you say you don't. I have botted since day 1 and seen it all. If i am fighting a mob for a nod and your to stupid to have player detection on..thats your fault for being stupid. Sloppy botters get reported. Good botters i leave alone.

If you wanna be ignorant and not properly set up your bot, then have fun buying new accounts.

i do not report ppl in defias ^^ i see some ppl using twilight m+h profile. i go to uldum when i see them ^^

I have had half the mind to report botters that have ninja nodes on. Not only is it annoying, it's ridiculously obvious when a bot tries to ninja your node.. people should know better.

What are people's thoughts on seeing other bots in your farming area?

If you see another bot using AB or IB or a questing profile, it really shouldn't affect you. I would think these people would be less likely to get reported.

But let's say someone is in the same farming area as you... and they're even using the same farming profile! ::gasp:: What do you do?

Wtf... "your area" says who? You work for blizzard and they gave you some sort of time share on pixels that create azeroth? Learn to make your own profiles and get out of the bot filled area.

Most of us sell gold. I classify that as stealing from me.....its all competition. If you bot just to make a few epics then you are doing it wrong. Welcome to botting and selling gold.

Its a fierce game, i used to play the nice guy when i was a noob botter, but i learned my lesson after watching and losing a few accounts.
If you think player reports are the major cause of bans you are totally correct, if you think player reports by other botters aren't the major cause of majority of those reports then you need to stop being ignorant and open your eyes.

We make alot of money doing this, if you come across a server that gets flooded after you post. Then there is a major player there and you need to leave before he notices you.

I have never botted for selling gold and I probably never will. I bot to have fun and to level that is the only reason I do it, I not longer raid and I no longer care about my 85s. The only thing I do is quest, pvp, and use those awesome plugins thats do instances or achy.

Also on topic I will never report other botter regardless of what they do. Just because they bot wrong or set it up wrong does not mean they should be banned, especially from another botter.

The only thing that bothers me is when your fighting a mob and another botter ninjas it.... /dislike
I always have the don't ninja checked, but i will never report them it just grinds my gears

let them be, i dont have ninja nodes up but that can sometimes bite them in the ass, as i grab the node first and mount and get the next while they are behind me trying to keep up ninja nodes does not help them imo.

and if i am fighing a mob,. well i will pass them and get the next in front of them. its not a big deal really.

Same as Natfoth. I enjoy levelling new toons. After levelling 6 level 85's by hand I don't see the need to do it all again. I bot to accumulate personal wealth so I can buy whatever I need for my toons.

Simple answer no. It would be hypocritical of me to report another person for botting seeing as though im doing the exact same.

Don't Report a Botter

- less gold for your mats
- longer to farm mats
- there's a chance he will report you
- you can sleep at night knowing that you are a nice person who protects the code of botting

Report a botter

- Higher prices for your mats
- Less time spent farming those mats
- He can't report you if he's banned
- How can you sleep at night knowing that you are screwing with somebody that is like family!

I don't see why anybody would report a bottter
