And using MY suggestion it can be built into the new feature of the paid plugin system. Like I said, HB is protected by having the source, devs are protected by having control of the cc use through authentication.

FallenAngel, I put more thought into this over the last couple of hours. In the interim I will release The One CC as I normally would like any other CC (source code). But I will include a PayPal donation link in the post.

Unfortunately I feel too many people are going to bypass this given the fact they would have to pay for it, even if it is only a charge one dollar people will still bypass it in favour of something free.

The regular users would not have a problem with it and I'm sure if I put the donation link up now a sufficient number of people would be more than happy to make donations but the new users or the casual botters wouldn't purchase it. While it is a great idea I think just the concept of a paid CC will put off a number of people.

That being said here is a shameless link if anyone would like to donate to The One CC project. Any amount from one dollar+ is more than welcome. All funds go directly to my pocket and shortly after to the dancing girls/hookers/my coke habit :P

First of all I wanna thank you for staying in this community and going on with your work.
I love you CC's and I'm happy that I don't have to live without em =)

Furthermore I will give you a doanation for your hard and good work too, but you have to wait a little until we hit the next month. Currently I'm out of money @__@

i think that fpsware makes a good point, so i decided to follow in his lead. and added a link for donations in my signature. i figure this will not only cheer me up some but help show me that people do actually care. and show support for my work, and lately has been hard. expect HB2 versions of Ecliptor and Project E as soon as i can figure this crap out. but ill release version 1.2 of Ecliptor today, for those who have been patiently waiting for it, but it will only work on HB1.
 
I wish all the devs good luck with donations and whatnot.. keep the good stuff rollin out!

Since I do not intend to make a dollar off this community, I have decided to go the route of keys. I need keys to keep development going. Without keys, no development. Those that wish to help development can donate working and legit keys to me so that I keep working.

If you could ordinarily reside in Australia, in a couple of years you can hire me for your divorce :-P

While it doesn't matter the what I think but dll's are a good idea due to the fact they prevent tampering by clueless users. If the developer wants to they could always post the source for more adept users to tinker with. An alternative, again is that if you are worried about security you force the developer to send the file to a designated person to vet check the legitimacy of the code.

fpsware - when I get some money in my paypal I'll send you whatever I have spare. It might be enough for a can of coke or a carton of beer :P

I didn't vote because I am still on the fence. I think people should have the right to protect their stuff, but if there is a tweak we want to make to a CC, if it is a DLL then we really can't. If it is a CS then we can tweak it a little bit without having to ask the dev's to tweat some stuff just for our likings.

But with a comprehensive user interface you should be able to change most aspects of how the CC functions without the need for editing the source code itself.
 
True, if there is a good Interface didn't really think about the interface that much. As long as it has like how many mobs to pull and stuff like that.
