We got a injunction today so we stopped sales and the download.

I have now analysed the injunction with my lawyers, and they believe it is only for the territory of Germany. However no one wants to swear on it, so I am left to decide whether I let the new DB be downloaded by all the existing customers or not. In the end i am personally liable with money ( 250.000 EUR per event ) or even jail.

So give me one or two more day until I figure out what is the best way to deal with it, and of course to finally get the papers written by Blizzard, and what they exactly did write in there.

All of you that have the time to wait a bit longer, will get the double sessions and time for Demonbuddy, all the rest will be refunded soon.

its not as simple as that, yeah they could close down a bot that was just becoming awesome everyday, but then again they have worked to hard...

you might aswell say "close down the site" altogether since HB is going to court too..

I really like this bot and hope that it all works out for DB's team and hope this bot continues, but it bothers me how some people are ignorant on this thread to think that DB's team, and indirectly, us, are the victims here. Blizzard makes a game that we all enjoy, but instead of quietly playing the game for fun, we go do something that we know is cheating because we believe it is difficult.


As I said, I really enjoy this bot and want it to continue. I'm not here to bash on everyone; I just want you to understand Blizzard's position, and DB's and our positions. Understand that Blizzard is doing the right thing and we're technically doing the wrong. Hell, millions of us wouldn't be playing their games if they were some half-assed company.

If you honestly think about it, with 1.0.3, they actually made it better for us to get even better loot with better chances, lessening our reliance on the auction house or RMAH. They've increased the chances of lvl60-63 items dropping across the board. With 5 stacks, you always receive a yellow for killing elites. They've lowered the damage of monsters and overall difficulty of Inferno. It's now viable to farm up the gear to take on Inferno rather than relying on the auction house.

Yes, they've increased repair costs and took away item drops from breakable objects and what not, but this in turn makes the game more fun and gratifying. We're not going to do anymore monotonous runs, not caring about deaths and just breaking objects.

People need to just stop for a second and actually look at ALL the changes, not the ones they don't like. And for the auction house and real money auction house, they're just shortcuts to get what we want. We don't necessarily need it.

With you all the way bosslands, good thing I been using honorbuddy.com for awhile. Blizzard always screams copy right laws knowing there full of it, minor delay. It was going to happen either way, no shock to me. Sucks that no new customers may be able to purchase tho, at least for a week or so.

Actually those changes help the real money auction house. Think about it before hand had a smaller % farming and selling items super high price. Now with more items you will find tons of more items but also tons of people who still want to buy. So instead of a small % of sales they have a huge % of smaller sales. Taking their cut out of every single one. Think of it as thier way of making mico transactions vrs rely on heavy high buyers. So more people make less money but Blizzard makes more money off more people.

Closing down the bots means those smaller transactions price goes up a little bit and not get flooded. That patch was not to help us lol.

ive made 1500 bucks so far off the RMAH and 100 of that came after the i started botting most of it i was saving items to sell once the Rmah went live. So ill be sticking around for the double sessions! wewt. GL boss i hope everything works out for the best!

What I do not understand, either way blizzard rights there TOS, they can't make new laws, they can't say a program is copy right issues. Your not dubbing copys of Diablo 3 and selling it, blizzard thinks because they make 100s of millions a month they can write it however they want to, I honestly think there getting to big for there pants so to speak, you did not break any laws, maybe the TOS but blizzard is not the law, there a game maker, idiots at that. One good bot gets shut down, 10 more open. There just dumb, bots are here to stay, they should live with it and allowing there RMAH to me is a breach of there own tos even if it is backed by them, there supporting what they hate for the rest of there games, I hope blizzard is reading this, there are people doing alot worse, hackers are the ones they should be hunting down. The hackers make the money in this industrie, there the ones driving $200,000 cars and $500,000 houses. You dont see a hacker whos stealing and making millions being sued or even them trying to find the real problem. More than 50% of in game items and currency sold online is stolen by hackers, hackers produce more gold and money than a bot maker could do in 10 lifetimes. Its just dumb.

I literally bought DB yesterday and starting learning how to use it. Was using one of the Core of Arreat profiles and it worked flawlessly. Couldnt quite figure out how to have the game/bot running while i was doing other things on the computer and i must say that is the only problem i had. I use to bot on D2 not sure if you guys were apart of that bot or not but as i can see the people here are extremely loyal and im really hoping to see how the buddy team operates for myself. Lets not forget the prices are so jacked up on the GAH that people who play normally will never be able to afford anything good. Their drop rates suck they kill the good gold farming spots and now on top of it they bumped repairs up by a ton so now without a bot im just losing gold and will eventually be stuck back in nightmare trying to get my gold back manually there making the game a chore so our solution naturally as human beings we make it easier - - with bots. They bringing the bot waves on themselves with their greed and crappy patches.
