Demonbuddy injunction, some facts and thoughts ( auch in Deutsch )

So existing customers can still use it, like will it still be available for use?


And I will be waiting no matter what I got. Went through this with HB, fine to go through it again =).
 
Good luck guys! I'll stick with you rather than risking getting banned. It seems obvious that Blizz is unable to detect you and it's not an easy task for them.
I'm not a hardcore player nor a gold seller and I just want to play this game normally. It's impossible without paying money for items or farming 12hrs+/day to gear up with mediocre stuff nonetheless.
 
Not worth it...updside not worth possible downside.

I have had an injunction placed on me by a Fortune 100 Company, and I know from experience the best way to piss off the judge is to violate the injunction. Like spitting in his face...let it play out.
 
Do not ever put your ass on the line for us, anyone who expects you to do that is not important. Do what you need to do, good luck man.
 
Ich lasse mein Geld bei dir, auch auf die Gefahr hin das ich es vielleicht verliere.
Es gibt keine besseren Coder als ihr und selbst wenn ich es verliere dann habe
ich bei den 20 Mio gefarmten Gold ein minimum Plus von 60 Euro gemacht.

ich will nicht die einzigen Bot Coder verlieren in die ich Vertrauen setze.

I will also wait -- what a great product!

Double sessions is very nice of you, especially after the launch discounts. Its funny how we are all buying more copies of D3 for the bots (because face it, the game vanilla is kind of boring), so Blizzard is making even more money - they should be thanking you too. ;p

Don't make it more serious then it is, jail time or that high fine is not in yours or ours interest. Just keep it low for the time. We know we will be victorious in the end and come back strong then ever!

I have now analysed the injunction with my lawyers, and they believe it is only for the territory of Germany. However no one wants to swear on it, so I am left to decide whether I let the new DB be downloaded by all the existing customers or not. In the end i am personally liable with money ( 250.000 EUR per event ) or even jail.

So give me one or two more day until I figure out what is the best way to deal with it, and of course to finally get the papers written by Blizzard, and what they exactly did write in there.

All of you that have the time to wait a bit longer, will get the double sessions and time for Demonbuddy, all the rest will be refunded soon.

Boss, here is an alternative solution:

you can still offer updates unofficial way. Someone irrevelant to you can distribute an .exe which patches current DemonBuddy to work with latest Diablo 3 patch. You can't held responsible, since an unknown programmer patches current demonbuddy then puts on rapidshare :)
