Demonbuddy injunction, some facts and thoughts ( auch in Deutsch )

We got a injunction today so we stopped sales and the download.

I have now analysed the injunction with my lawyers, and they believe it is only for the territory of Germany. However no one wants to swear on it, so I am left to decide whether I let the new DB be downloaded by all the existing customers or not. In the end i am personally liable with money ( 250.000 EUR per event ) or even jail.

So give me one or two more day until I figure out what is the best way to deal with it, and of course to finally get the papers written by Blizzard, and what they exactly did write in there.

All of you that have the time to wait a bit longer, will get the double sessions and time for Demonbuddy, all the rest will be refunded soon.

Da das Urteil zur EV sehr wage beschrieben ist, und man sich daraus keine Aussage machen kann, was nun genau zu unterlassen ist und was nicht.

Bin ich gezwungen, mir noch 1-2 Tage Zeit zu nehmen und das ganze nochmal mit meinen Anw?lten zu analysieren und ebenso die EV zu bekommen und zu lesen.

Da ich auch privat hafte, muss ich die Schritte ich ich unternehme genauenstens ?berpr?fen und abstimmen.


Alle die bereits eine R?ckzahlung w?nschten, werden demn?chst diese auch bekommen. Alle die weiterhin an uns glauben, bekommen die doppelten Sessions und Laufzeit f?r Demonbuddy.




Nach meiner Meinung sind wir ganz schnell wieder beim Tagesgesch?ft.

Take your time, talk to some intelligent lawyers;those are few, but can make THE difference.
Also, is there any injunction stopping you from selling the source code to a 'third party', that might choose to develop it further?

Take the time you need for sorting everything out, that's a lot of money at jeopardy, so be right in your decision.
But that's my opinion, but I can't anything else than a lot of old HB users and hopeful a lot of the new ones, share this thoughts.

I don't care how long it takes! I don't mind waiting! Just make sure my self replenishing D3 ATM returns to me sometime in the future!
 
Thanks for the update boss <3. Don't rush it man, we can wait. Maybe a few out there want you to release right away but it ain't worth the risk. Would rather know u guys are safe and sound and plotting the next headache for blizzard legal team. Stay strong!!!

If Bossland wins, he won't have any legal bills - Blizzard will be paying for BuddyTeam's lawyers and compensating them for money lost due to the downtime and potential customer refunds/cancellations.

Good lord, take all the time you need to ensure that ^ doesn't happen to you.
 
wird schon alles klappen :) schade das der bot so lang aus ist :( man muss ihn ja nicht weiter verkaufen^^
aber da du wirklich sicher gehen willst, ist es glaubsch besser :)
 
Yes we are your customer's, you do owe us your continuing support. Large fines and jail time is not the support I want or need in this situation. Think of yourself your family and your loved ones first.


With that being said I wish you the best of luck and feverantly hope to be botting with a new updated uber 1337 version of DB soon.

Pretty sure even by German laws, that would mean a law suit against Blizzard when he wins, to get payed for customers refund and downtime. But not the biggest deal, would also give him 100 Euro's just for the thanks of making the last 2 years enjoyable, and having a fun hobby on the side. ;)
 
As others have stated, take your time and make sure everything checks out.
