Default Druid (Feral and Balance) by Fpsware

Its something to do with the prowl....I still haven't trained pounce on other druid and hes great...never prowls.....the one i did train pounce always stealths and gets the crap xp/hr due to just sitting there.
 
For anyone interested, this CC will undergo a significant update over the next week to work better with Instance Buddy.

On the to do list
  • [Balance] Spam Hurricane
  • [Balance] More frequent use of Force of Nature
  • [Feral] More frequent use of Swipe
  • [Restoration] Full heal bot support!
 
fpsware, if you could have it use faerie fire at all times and also change it to use mangle before rake as rake would benifit more because the buff that mangle gives to bleed. just some suggestions.

fpsware, hurricane spam = BAD!
its way better to put MF+IS up on all the targets, way more dps :)

In instances, targets are not living long enough for DoTs to tick enough.
 
on my druid in general its a loss if I do hurricane, on heroic trash aswell, mostly they will live for 8-10 seconds at least. dots is more profit that way, and also triggers starsurge.
dont know how the balance is at lower levels tho, 6k GS balance druid here
 
fpware, a problem I have noticed with this is if you have two mobs and one is almost dead and it starts to run away the bot will try to change him down while the adds just beat on you instead just let him run away and start killing the adds or swap out of cat/bear form and hit him with moonfire/insect swarm then go to killing the adds otherwise this can cause some deaths if there is enough adds and doing enough damage.
 
I agree mobs die to quick to try and dot them up. Hurricane is much better with 3+ mobs. As far as GS goes...The higher the GS should help u in seeing that Hurricane> dotting mobs. just the GCD would make it kill ur dps on 3 mobs...using 2 dots.. they would be dead by the time u finish dotting.

Hurricane does way more damage in instances/raids than dotting them all up it's faster and hits harder expecially in ICC. my main is a druid.
 
Ok enough bashing on Melv, this is a thread to help fpswave improve his great cc for us.

I'll be running the test Boomkins with IB in the next few days, you should see a dramatic increase in Boomkin DPS onces its been optomised for instancing.

EDIT: And for all the bashing going on in this thread, I'll be doing some testing with both DoTs AND Hurricane. I'll implement whichever one is highest DPS.
 
Hey fpsware.. I would be interested in doing extensive testing for you if you need someone.
But I was also thinking it would be nice to have aoe pulling.. For example say I want to pull a group of 4 mobs so that my kitty can kill and skin them all.. it should be easy to do, just have it use swipe if group is greater then 2 mobs or something within melee range.

Hi! I'm kinda interested to start 2 of my raf acct Druids combo, does it work well with with combat assist? Or follower just follows leader wherever? Sorry if im asking some stupid stuff, have't tried others. Just did paladin, and didn't happen to work quite well with the CC raf mode and instancebuddy.
