Do you have any Logs? See if it is still happening with the new version
 
Hi Friend,

I swapped to your CR after I felt that the CR I was using just wasn't performing as well as it should. I noticed a difference straight away, not a small difference but a gargantuan difference (5-8k dps).

One thing I would love to see is a seperate toggle or option for manual control for Unholy Blight and Summon Gargoyle. Reason being that on some bosses like Kromog, I want to save my UB for when we are all in the hands and for gargoyle sometimes its just not the right time to do it. I know I could disable all CDs but I still want bot to control racials, trinkets, DnD/Defile etc.

Edit: Forgot to add, there is a bug still on Kromog, the pet stops attacking him causing the routine to stop, I simply set the pet to defensive manually and this seems to fix it. Will try post logs if I do it again later.

I'm glad it's working for you!

Controlling specific CD's is something people request a lot and I'm still on the fence about. The benefit to advanced players can be moderate, but for people that aren't paying too much attention to what the settings are it could cause a few problems. Either they won't be optimum and will need to dig through more settings to fix it, which is very bad. Or they will just see a lot of needless options and be overwhelmed. I'll keep thinking about it, and try to find a good way to solve the problem, but right now I am alright with people getting 95% of their potential because of a slightly mistimed cooldown.

I appreciate the feedback, and as I said, I'll keep looking at the problem for a good way to solve it ^_^
 
I have a small suggestion, I'd like Unholy Blight to not be cast at all times, regardless of the cooldown setting. It's a talent that is on a 1m and 30second cooldown, which isn't that low, and that doesn't really need to be cast on adds, especially not on cooldown right before the last add dies before the boss... I don't want to have to explain to my guild why I activated a 1:30min cooldown on the last add right before it died :P

I think this goes back to the whole cooldown settings (that in my opinion, would benefit the CR if it was implemented), but in the specific case of Unholy Blight, I don't see a reason why it is not seen as a cooldown, and used all the time. I think Pillar of Frost for Frost spec also works this way, but I'm not sure.

Additionally, is there a way to only use cooldowns (trinkets, unholy blight, others I don't remember) while in range of the boss? More often than not, the CR will use some of my cooldowns without even being in range of the target, which is a dps loss and might be suspicious. I'm not sure if this is possible, but it would be great :)

so , orc racial is being cast, enyo pause is working(ty) , although it still casts minion while paused (wth).
it uses cds on adds, although i have it set to use only on boss(used all cds while on boat, at iron maidens :( ).
now i dont want to repeat myself about all other settitngs i would like, but i guess it works okay for some1 who doesnt want many options and it is decent dps, some1 who wants to raid hc/mythic with it though, will have to use every offensive and defensive cd on his own.

Every mob in a boss encounter is considered a boss via the HB API, not much I can do about that right now short of recoding boss detection =/
I will be doing an overhaul of the cooldown usage settings, but I'm not sure that'll fix your problems.

i dont have any problems. i use your cr on some fights, some other fights i prefer other crs. personally i would buy any dk cr with reasonable price to support it :)
competition makes perfect :cool:
and like i said , it has a good dps output, some fights , its the best there is! it lacks some settings (for my taste) but maybe thats what keeps it good on those fights , im no expert, just been using crs with many different bots for a few years now.

#DeathKnight generally puts me in in the top 85 or higher percentile with some manually control sometimes such as Kromog (Saving Unholy Blight and ERW for hand phases). Its also one of the less expensive DK routines.

1) What does the High Threat key mean by "reduce weight of Death Strike significantly" mean exactly?
2) How do I know if AoE is turned on or off?

Not sure about 1), but for 2), it's enabled by default but will only AoE when needed. You can disable it by toggling the hotkey and it'll show "AoE Disabled" or something like that in HB.

The CR will always AoE when necessary by default and keep doing the normal stuff on single target. Personal experience here.

Only when needed is good. Thanks. This CR did a good job with Brackenspore earlier (granted it was LFR, but still).

High Threat makes you 10x more likely to use Blood Boil instead of Death Strike. This will cause you to grab much higher threat than you would otherwise, but makes you easier to kill.
AoE is on by default, but when you press the hotkey you can see what it is in the HB log. It'll say something like "AoE Disabled"

You can use Enyo's pause key if you need to.

Currently, Pause hotkey on Enyo will pause attacking, but it'll still auto-summon gargoyle (as unholy) and use Horn of Winter when no attack power buff is active. Any chance that can be toggled off when Enyo is pausing the routine? Thanks :)
 
Hello, does this bot base work with dungeon buddY? I tried and it doesn't seem to move and just wants to sit there..
 
This routine is made to be used with Enyo. It has no movement.

"When should I use #DeathKnight?

#DeathKnight is focused entirely on high end, manual (Enyo) raiding. This means it will take care of everything dealing with combat, and you deal with the fight mechanics. Remember to stay out of fire!"


Also ranked top 25 overall DK this week on Beastlord Darmac.
