Yes. VMWare is for tin foil participants. I've finished been a tin foil enthusiast. I've had the same luck with VMWare that I have without it.

I've been wondering for a while what it would take as a nearly bare minimum build for botting D3.

The idea is stretching that dollar and getting (at least) 8-10+ bots on the computer oyu're purchasing. I've been toying around with pcpartpicker, but I'm sure there are some of your out there who know how to stretch that dime as short as possible. This build is based around minimalistic configuration necessary as well (take it out of the box and rock).

Here's a link to get started (pc builder) - AMD FX-6300, PowerColor Radeon HD 7850, Corsair 200R - System Build - PCPartPicker. This build was on a $600.00 budget -- Current price is at $625.00. Wait until discounts release again.

Is this still the best cheapest build?
If yes i'll buy exactly the items listed.

I can only speak for myself here but my superclocked 660ti sits at 30% with 12 clients with d3prefs gutten and 15fps.i was looking to test out a 2gb 640 but the ban patterns have made me rethink going bigger for the time being. i think the vram is important, my 12 use up around 1.4gb of vram.

When you're talking about pushing 10-20+ bots, a good graphics card is necessary. You can only dim down the graphics requirements through D3 preferences so far. I wouldn't suggest wasting $50.00 on some crap card if your intent is to have a bot farm lol.

I'm going to re-vamp the build again. With the beginning of the new years, new deals and new hardware is released. Once the next generation of processors and GPU(s) release, I'm going to remake the listing. As of right now, the list is as close to the "best bang for your buck" you're going to get.

how much can 16GB 1600mhz RAM, and 8120 AMD (8 core) can handle? i was thinking about 8-10 bots, thats why the shitty gfx card. I don't wanna spend 150$ on GFX card if i don't need that much. Now i am really in doubts :/ ? GFX and d3prefs setttings will be tweaked to minimum...

I wondered, about new PC for bots, nothing else, only Windows7 + bots. My AIM is for 9-12bots with no more than 90% of usage CPU. Cause i know how 100% can slow bots.

Lets start about more optimistic - 9 bots.
I know that i7 price is definitely so high. So i found better way to chose AMD which is.
AMD FX-8350 its about 8cores,
I think i want to spend max 1000$ or about 750Euro. It will be working with Radeon (i think if i chose AMD, then i should connect it with radeon) Radeon about 7850 or Nvidia GTX 650/660. + 16GB RAM 1600Mhz, what u think about this kind of CPU ? Never tried bots with AMD but i know i5 3570k can't handle more than 6-7, and i7 is too expensive to try with i7 3770k. I think best way for rich people is 6'cores i7 ivy bridge which price is almost the same what full computer for 6bots+.

What about % of usage ? is it still under 90%, hope if its about 70-80. But i know its not a dream.

i7 3770k - 230$
biostar tz77xe3 mobo - 50$
16gb corsair vengence - 68$
corsair h60 hydro cooler - 40$
computer case - 50$
ssd HD - 50$
accessories (wireless network adapter, fans, yada yada) 50$

with biostar mobo its easy to OC this to 4.5-4.7 and the h60 keeps the cpu @ 28 degrees, no need to buy a video card since the 3770k has the intel chipset built in and since we all drop the game to 16bits and make it look like shit, theres no need for graphics, the onboard is good enough. runs about 14-15 before it starts losing GPH or crashes.

Dont forget $ = Euro in europe.. and he didnt tell about graphic card, and SSD HD 50$ ??? with OS ? its like 60GB with free 40GB space, so how he score 14bots+... What about AC 600W+. Minimum price for descent PC is about 800-900Euro if u need some kind of beast for 12bots.
